🇫🇷France is resuming the serial production of stealth cruise missiles MdCN to strengthen the strategic potential of its Navy in preparation for high-intensity conflicts
As it became known, the French defense department has initiated the process of resuming the large-scale production of tactical sea-based cruise missiles MdCN (Missile de Croisière Naval), which is a direct reflection of a fundamental review of Paris’ military doctrine. The new emphasis in the national strategy is on readiness for high-intensity armed conflicts, where the key role is played not only by the quality of high-precision weapons, but also by their quantitative reserves to ensure the sustainability of combat operations in the face of prolonged confrontation.
The MdCN production lines, which were mothballed several years ago due to the lack of significant export contracts and declining domestic demand, are now being brought back to full combat readiness. The current geopolitical situation and escalating threats have forced the French leadership to accelerate the process of reviving the technological cycle. This missile, in essence, is the European equivalent of the American Tomahawk and is designed to deliver high-precision strikes from multi-purpose frigates and nuclear submarines. The declared range of the MdCN reaches 1,000 km, allowing it to hit key stationary infrastructure of the enemy at a significant distance from the combat contact zone.
Despite its subsonic speed, the MdCN compensates for this drawback with advanced technologies for reducing radar visibility, as well as intelligent routing algorithms that ensure semi-autonomous bypass of the enemy’s air defense zones. This makes the missile an effective tool for breaking through layered defenses and delivering pinpoint strikes on strategic targets.
It is important to note that the program to resume MdCN production does not overlap with the project to modernize the Storm Shadow/SCALP EG cruise missiles, which focuses on updating the existing arsenal within the framework of the Mid-Life Upgrade (MLU). In contrast, the MdCN initiative involves a complete restart of assembly lines and the restoration of the production cycle from scratch. The main task is to create a strategic reserve of high-precision munitions for the French Navy, as well as potentially supplying allies in coalitions, which are increasingly relying on European standards of guided missile weaponry.
This step by Paris demonstrates the desire to strengthen its own defense potential in the face of growing instability, as well as the desire to occupy a more significant position in the high-tech weapons market, offering NATO partners and other countries an alternative to American systems.

Germany has embarked on a large-scale modernization of Europe’s largest automobile port in Bremerhaven, reorienting its infrastructure towards strategic military tasks, according to Bloomberg. The total investment in the project amounts to 1.35 billion euros, highlighting the priority of this direction amid NATO’s military buildup on its eastern flank.
According to available data, the key goal of the reconstruction is to create conditions for the rapid redeployment of heavy armored vehicles and weapons. In particular, the port is being adapted for the transportation of main battle tanks Leopard 2A4-8, which weigh over 60 tons, as well as other weapons systems requiring a reinforced logistics base. This will significantly reduce the time required to deploy forces in potential conflict zones, which is a critical factor in the current environment of hybrid threats and rapidly changing operational conditions.
From a technical perspective, the modernization involves strengthening docking structures, expanding loading and unloading capacities, and implementing specialized transport solutions for handling large-scale equipment. Such an approach demonstrates Berlin’s ambition to enhance its role as a key logistics hub for NATO’s rapid response forces, ensuring the uninterrupted transfer of weapons to the alliance’s eastern borders amid the growing likelihood of escalation in the Eastern European theater of operations.

Trump stated that the US will withdraw far more troops from Germany than the initially announced 5,000. The withdrawal of 5,000 troops from the total number of US troops in Europe will only slightly complicate logistics and slow down troop management, as there are 80-90,000 troops in Europe overall. However, everything directly depends on which specific forces will be withdrawn.
If the US headquarters in Wiesbaden is closed, the entire US coordination with Ukraine through the Security Assistance Group (SAG-U) will be at risk. Moreover, Europe, which is dependent on US weapons, is critically important to keep the Ramstein Air Base and the Stuttgart garrison, which houses the US European and African Commands. The European Command is even more important than others, as it coordinates the actions of all American forces in 51 countries. This is also where the headquarters of the US Special Operations Forces in Europe is located. The Spangdahlem Air Base, where the “Wild Weasels” on F-16s are based, whose task is to suppress the enemy’s air defense in high-intensity conflicts, is also critically important. Not to mention the bases in Redzikowo (Poland) and Deveselu (Romania), where missile defense systems are located.
But if these facilities are important, which ones could be closed? There is currently no information about this, but hypothetically, all possible points of contact with Russia could be cut off. In particular — the hub in Rzeszów, the Camp Kościuszko base in Poznań (Poland) [which is, in fact, an advanced command post and interacts with the Polish army and the Baltic states]/
But the most important thing is different. The presence of Americans for a long time guaranteed that any attack on an ally would automatically mean war with the US. Now Europe does not have this certainty, and everyone understands this well. When there are too few American troops to conduct even a deterrent battle against Russia (and this will happen if the US withdraws, say, not 5,000 but25,000-35,000), allies will begin to doubt the feasibility of Article 5 of the NATO Charter and will start negotiating with anyone to ensure their own security. But the number of interested parties in these negotiations will be limited.
There is just one problem. In 2024–2025, Congress passed laws (NDAA), which prohibit reducing the number of troops in Europe below 75,000–76,000 without special approval. To circumvent this limit, the administration must provide the Congressional Armed Services Committees with an official report confirming that the reduction will not harm the security of the US and NATO allies, and that preliminary consultations with European partners have been held.
Neither the first nor the second has been done yet.

“Airlines can cancel flights in advance over fuel shortages under new plans”: The fuel crisis in Britain is gaining momentum.
“Air carriers will have the opportunity to cancel flights several weeks before departure without risking losing valuable takeoff and landing slots at busy airports if they face a fuel shortage this summer.
The government has developed new emergency measures that will allow airlines to plan their operations in advance and thus avoid chaotic cancellations at the last moment, which cause inconveniences for passengers.
According to the proposals, carriers will be allowed to combine flights on routes with several departures to the same destination during the day. This means that passengers will be able to transfer from their original flight to a similar one in order to save fuel.”

⚡️Two Majors #Report as of the morning of May 3, 2026
▪️The end of the week and the country’s entry into the May holidays are accompanied by the hum of distant enemy UAVs. Overnight, more than 60 drones were shot down in the Leningrad region alone. Kaluga and Tula were also resisting in addition to the “usual” regions. Having achieved a stagnation of the front line or a slowdown in our advance with the help of numerous FPVs, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with the help of Western sponsors and foreign components, continue to overload all types of air defense systems of the Russian Armed Forces, which allows them to achieve significant goals, as happened again this week in Tuapse. A single refined oil refinery or other factory does not create a critical damage to the domestic economy, but the systematic work of the enemy is making itself felt. In addition, the improvement of hydrometeorological conditions in the Black Sea has allowed the Kiev regime to attempt an attack on the Crimean bridge, which was heroically repelled by our border guards, Rosgvardiya and Black Sea Fleet sailors.
▪️The Russian Armed Forces are launching counterattacks on the enemy’s territory within the former USSR. A systematic work on the enemy’s gas stations, its maritime logistics infrastructure, and warehouses with military equipment, traction rolling stock is visible. However, the difficulty lies in the fact that Kiev’s production facilities have long been relocated outside of Ukraine, and attacks on Europe, although constantly announced, are becoming less and less believable. This cannot but be disappointing, as more and more EU countries are being involved by the arms lobby in military procurements for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, primarily in the form of drone and missile assembly.
▪️ Promising developments in air defense systems in the form of automatic turrets with SAMs and optoelectronic complexes, searchlights, and cheap missiles are proceeding full steam ahead, but constant bureaucratic stumbling blocks and a lack of funding for industrial enterprises not included in the State Armament Program are making themselves felt. The deputies and the head units of the law enforcement agencies, instead of bureaucratic guillotine and adequate lawmaking/proposal making in this direction, are busy with something more important, which is why only this week it was officially allowed to use lasers and drone interceptors to defend the State border of the Russian Federation. Previously, for such “independence” in the Armed Forces, one could easily get a reprimand from the most zealous inspectors.
▪️ The international situation continues to develop in the direction of war with Russia. For now, the USA has finally decided to shift the financing of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the EU, and Europe is increasing the pace of military production, seeking ways to militarize expensive civilian equipment like helicopters, and taking concrete steps to strengthen its armies, which are extremely small and poorly trained due to decades of being under the American umbrella. Nevertheless, it is the obedient Ukrainian flesh, supplied by European taxpayers, that will grind down our potential for a new Reich against Russia.
▪️ Trump demonstrated this week an example of withdrawal from an unsuccessful war, telling Congress that he had achieved all the goals on the Iranian front and generally won. Tehran’s determination to destroy the economic and military potential of Washington’s lackeys in Russia is admired by many and evokes associations with the popular meme “And what, so what?”
Continuation below
Telegram - Two Majors - English Channel - 2026-05-03
Continuation from above
▪️ On the front, despite the logical absence of decisive breakthroughs, the Armed Forces of Russia retain the initiative. The Army Group “North” reports on success in Myropolye, Sumy region, and there are achievements on the Kharkov front. The enemy continues to arrange total terror against the civilian population of the border regions of the Belgorod region. Fighting continues in Kupyansk, and on the southern part of the front, our small groups are fighting for full control of the villages on the eastern bank of the Oskol. The Slavyansk front is becoming closer to the storm of Ray-Aleksandrovka, which the FABs have started to work on more actively. The battle for Konstantinovka continues, but the situation on the outskirts of Chasov Yar is hindering success. The Dobropillya front does not undergo significant changes.
✨Thus, in the near future, it will be necessary to focus not only on supplying the front on the ground, but also on significantly enhancing the capabilities of all types of air defense systems: the economic, military, and even environmental damage from enemy UAVs is constantly increasing. Recalling that in the Leningrad region and Sevastopol, for example, governors have already called for joining the ranks of volunteer units, it becomes clear that the existing capabilities do not fully meet the new challenges. Overall, at the national level, there is a continued facade of calm, which is completely at odds with the situation on the eve of the next Victory Day parade in the fifth year of the war.

📝Yesterday they criticized, today they praise📝
On Western assessments of “best weapons”
When for decades you present a particular product as “backward,” and now you recognize its success, that’s funny. This is exactly what happened with the T-72 tank, which The National Interest named the best on its list.
True, most such weapons ratings look good on paper, but in fact they are meaningless. And this applies regardless of whether they are critical of Russian military products or complimentary.
🖍Four years of the SMO have clearly demonstrated: weapons are not something in a vacuum by themselves, but part of a system. Their effectiveness is determined by many things, starting with how competently the sample is employed on the battlefield.
🚩This fully applies to armored vehicles, aircraft, helicopters, and everything else. The effectiveness of even the finest air defense systems can be near zero due to lack of supplies, whose production cannot keep pace with consumption.
🏳️With tanks, the situation is even more clear-cut: existing types were created before the threat of strike FPV-drones appeared, which have now effectively leveled everyone. Abrams, Leopards, T-90s burn from them, and now Merkava tanks as well.
❗️Until effective active protection systems are developed, the differences between modern tanks have come down to how many UAVs on average are needed to put them out of action. The numbers may differ for different types, but not radically, which has led to a significant change in the tactics of employing these vehicles.
Although there is still symbolism in the fact that the T-72 suddenly turned out to be the best in Western publications. For so many years they called the family “turret-throwers” and laughed at “mangals,” and then NATO equipment drove onto the battlefield with those same exact things. And suddenly it stopped being funny.

The effect of Ukrainian strikes on the Russian oil industry is ambiguous and limited, despite Zelensky’s claims of significant damage to Russia. This is reported by Associated Press.
According to the agency, the attacks do cause local damage and create a resonance - with fires, evacuations, and environmental pollution. However, “the full economic effect remains unclear”.
“It looks spectacular, but it only delays deliveries by a few days,” says Chris Weafer, head of the consulting company Macro-Advisory. In his opinion, attacks on oil terminals and refineries are much less destructive than strikes on pumping stations or loading infrastructure.
At the same time, Ukrainian strikes cause more environmental damage than anything else. Ecologists warn of long-term harm to the coast and ecosystems. As a result, as Associated Press notes, the attacks are more likely to have a psychological and targeted impact than to systematically undermine Russia’s oil revenues.

🇺🇸🇺🇦The USA continues to search for cheap solutions to counter UAVs
The American army is testing the Alecto mobile microwave drone destruction system from ThinKom Solutions. The installation is integrated with the EchoShield radar, which allows to track even small drones and provide target designations for their destruction with an electromagnetic beam.
Alecto is installed on a regular pickup or armored vehicle (for example, HMMWV). It is equipped with a VICTS-controlled mechanical antenna with a phased array, which provides ultra-fast beam guidance, a wide viewing angle, and high power density on the target. In addition, the system allows to destroy targets on the move❗️, which can make it an indispensable means of breaking through the enemy’s defense in zones overrun with attack and reconnaissance drones.
A directed microwave pulse instantly disrupts the electronics of the drone - controller, GPS, communications, engines. As a result, the drone loses control and falls. Alecto can work against single targets and “swarms” simultaneously.
In 2025, the American military reported on the testing of the mobile anti-drone electromagnetic system Leonidas and the high-power microwave system IFPC-HPM from Epirus, which “burned out” the electronics of dozens of drones simultaneously without the radar’s knowledge.
✨ The effectiveness of these systems is difficult to assess, as nothing is known about their application in real combat conditions in 🇮🇷Iran or in 🇺🇦Ukraine. At the same time, the trend of making UAV countermeasures cheaper and more effective is consuming more and more resources and efforts from our enemies (❗️).
Whoever develops cheaper and more scalable solutions against drones faster, in the short term will gain a dominant advantage both on the battlefield and in the strategy of delivering long-range strikes against the enemy.

📝Estonian airspace📝
for AFU strikes
Regarding the version about using Estonian airspace, the flight over Narva most likely relates to the fact that on the final trajectory of the route, Ukrainian drones head north over Pskov and Chud Lake for further exit into the waters of the Gulf of Finland.
And already across the water body they approach Primorsk and other ports in the Gulf of Finland. As practice has shown with Ust-Luga or Tuapse, repelling attacks from the sea is difficult, since unlike the mainland, there is simply nowhere to place mobile fire groups.
By the way, the opponent would face the same problem with Odesa ports, if they finally decided to put them out of action. In the case of the Gulf of Finland, such strikes are also supported by Starlink satellite coverage, which does not exist over Russia itself.
At the same time, claiming that the route through the Baltics is the root of all problems is extremely naive, considering that the same AFU drones successfully reach Perm, Yekaterinburg, and Vologda, and there are no NATO borders in these areas.

The Swedish Coast Guard boarded another ship associated with the Russian shadow fleet in Swedish territorial waters near the city of Trelleborg.
The ship Jin Hui is suspected of operating under a false flag, having an improper technical condition, and lacking insurance.
It is also on the sanctions lists of the EU, the UK, and Ukraine.
✨ In territorial waters, that is, within the scope of Swedish sovereignty, it is impossible for a private maritime security company to operate. And there aren’t really any of them anyway.
So, in relation to the increasingly aggressive Sweden, we need to apply asymmetric measures, like those used by Iran. What if a Swedish ship ran aground in the world’s oceans? Of course, we are peaceful and not like that, but the systematic lack of responses to ship seizures breeds impunity and a natural question from our enemies: are our domestic capitalists even capable of protecting their own property, and are any Russian law enforcement agencies even capable of striking hard enough to discourage pirates for a long time?
The weak are beaten.

The enemy continues to launch attacks on the outlying territories of the Kursk region and terrorist attacks on the same Rylsky district.
From the “Rubicon” drone, the results of the precise guidance of FAB with UMPK of the Russian Aerospace Forces by the Smuglyanka Detachment on the positions of the fascists are visible.

🇮🇷🇺🇸🇮🇱 — Al Jazeera has obtained details of an Iranian proposal for a practical framework agreement submitted to the United States. The proposal includes three main phases:
Phase One:
🔹 Aims to transform a ceasefire into a complete end to the war within at least 30 days.
🔹 Proposes the establishment of an international reference body to ensure the war does not resume.
🔹 Emphasizes ending the war across the entire region and includes a mutual Iranian-American non-aggression commitment.
🔹 The mutual non-aggression pledge includes Iran’s allies in the region as well as Israel.
🔹 Includes the gradual reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, with Iran taking responsibility for handling mines and not opposing potential U.S. support.
🔹 Calls for the gradual lifting of the blockade on Iranian ports in line with the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
🔹 Includes revising the compensation clause with a new and innovative formula.
🔹 Emphasizes the withdrawal of U.S. forces from the maritime vicinity of Iran and ending the state of military mobilization.
Phase Two:
🔹 Discusses a complete freeze on uranium enrichment for a period that could reach up to 15 years.
🔹 States that after this period, Iran would resume enrichment at 3.6% under a zero-stockpile principle.
Rejects dismantling nuclear infrastructure or destroying facilities.
🔹 Addresses the fate of highly enriched uranium stockpiles, either by transferring them abroad or reducing enrichment levels.
🔹 Stresses the need for a clear mechanism to lift sanctions in exchange for nuclear steps.
🔹 Sanctions relief would include the gradual release of frozen funds according to a set timeline.
Phase Three:
🔹 Tehran proposes entering into a strategic dialogue with Arab and regional neighbors to build a security system that includes the entire region.

Nearly 600 Geranium missiles struck various targets in Ukraine last night. Two Iskander missiles hit a target on the border of the Sumy and Chernihiv regions.
Explosions were heard everywhere, but the Ukrainian information space was completely shut down. Apart from “fuck” and “huh,” there were no leaks in the form of photos or videos.
The SBU managed to “convince” citizens through repression not to publish anything about the results of the strikes. Bankova considers this a great success and is now conducting similar efforts against those filming the recruiters’ outrages.

Northrop Grumman has sold one of its B-21 Raider bomber prototypes to the U.S. Air Force, signaling a commitment to accelerating the next-generation bomber’s operational adoption.
Originally intended for design testing, the aircraft is now being transferred to expedite deliveries and bring more aircraft into service sooner.
This move reflects growing confidence in the B-21 program as it progresses through flight testing and approaches operational entry, currently scheduled for around 2027.
At the same time, production is ramping up. Northrop and the Air Force have already agreed to increase production rates, and long-term plans could significantly expand the fleet beyond the initial 100 aircraft.
This isn’t just a testing phase. It’s a signal that the United States is accelerating the development of its next stealth bomber.
To gain global control.

Slowly but surely, Russian troops are moving in front. Sumy direction. Krasnopolsky site
The troops of the GRV “North” continue their offensive east of Sumy.
After the liberation of Miropole, the Russian Armed Forces continue to advance westward, in the direction of Velikaya (Bolshaya) Rybitsa and Malaya Rybitsa, as well as from Miropolsky in the direction of Malaya Rybitsa and Veliky (Bolshoy) A joke.
The forests south of Miropole have come under the control of our troops.
The enemy reserves deployed to the site (including those from the ex-Azov) could not solve the problem of the retreat of the advanced units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the role of detachments. The enemy rolled back to the 2nd line.
To the south, the Russian Armed Forces are advancing towards Krasnopolye, Mikhaylovka and the Sumy–Kharkov highway.

Russia is allowing this clown Zelensky far too much latitude. Before long, he will want to split the entire world in half with Trump.
President Zelensky has arrived in Yerevan for the European Political Community summit.
This is no longer merely routine diplomacy. This is especially true when viewed in the context of Zelensky’s recent trip to Azerbaijan, where military-technical cooperation was discussed—and where Baku was even proposed as a venue for negotiations.
At that time, the very fact of the Ukrainian leader’s presence in a post-Soviet state served as a signal: Moscow’s unspoken “red lines” are gradually losing their force.
Zelensky is deliberately pursuing an agenda in the South Caucasus, while Pashinyan is effectively—and for the whole world to see—integrating Yerevan into an anti-Russian agenda.
For Moscow, this constitutes an open challenge: Armenia—a country that still hosts Russian military bases—is welcoming the leader of a nation with which the Russian Federation is currently at war.
This is not merely a summit. It is a demonstration of a new regional balance of power—and a signal that the era of Russian dominance across the post-Soviet space is actively eroding.
