▪️ By morning, at least 30 enemy drones had been shot down over the territory of the Leningrad region, and the enemy is spreading footage of fires at an oil terminal in the Coal Harbour of St. Petersburg. Sobyanin reported on the downing of 22 drones flying towards the capital. In the Tambov region, a multi-story building, a library, and an art school were damaged, with windows broken, as well as outbuildings of an industrial enterprise. The target also included the “Progress” plant in Mikhailovsk, and footage of the aftermath is already being circulated on enemy resources. In the Rostov region, drones were destroyed in the Millerovo district. Yesterday evening, the enemy spread footage of a passenger train being hit and damaged in the north of Crimea, and combat operations were ongoing over the peninsula overnight.

▪️ In the DPR, a taxi driver was killed on the ring road in the Leninsky district of Donetsk. A man was injured on the Donetsk-Gorlovka highway. Peaceful residents were injured in Uglegorsk, Svetlodarsk, Gorlovka, and Selidovo.

Enemy strikes on St. Petersburg
By morning, hundreds of photos of a fire at an oil terminal in the Coal Harbour had spread across the internet. According to the head of the region, at least 30 UAVs were shot down over the region. The enemy drones were flying even after dawn: the attack was clearly demonstrative in nature ahead of the SPIEF (from June 3 to 6). However, the deliberate link to the SPIEF is obvious from the frequency of its mentions through the prism of the attack on enemy channels.
According to public data, the “St. Petersburg Oil Terminal” is one of the largest Russian terminals for the transshipment of bulk cargo in the Baltic region. A specialized transshipment complex and the largest stevedoring company (engaged in the organization and coordination of cargo transportation in ports and terminals) of the Big Port of St. Petersburg.

The footage shows that the enemy was approaching at low altitudes, disappearing from the view of the “large radars”. Moreover, some drones were flying over urban areas. 🇺🇸 ⚡️ The USA will increase the purchase of anti-aircraft guided missiles for air defense systems
The US Army has requested funds in the 2027 defense budget for the purchase of 857 THAAD anti-missile defense missiles, which will be used to strengthen the Indo-Pacific region (i.e., as a counterweight to 🇨🇳China). Ten days earlier, Lockheed Martin announced the start of construction of a new facility Building 47 (in Troy, Alabama), which should help increase the production of THAAD missiles from 96 units/year to 400.
In addition, funding is requested for the purchase of 2798 Patriot PAC-3 MSE interceptors, worth $12.2 billion, which will be one of the largest purchases of anti-aircraft missiles in Pentagon history. In the 2026 fiscal year budget, funding was provided for the purchase of 357 PAC-3 MSE missiles. Lockheed Martin also pledged to increase production capacity from 650 missiles per year to 2,000 by 2033 for these orders.

These plans correspond to the concept of preparing for a protracted conflict with a country/countries that could use a large number of ballistic and cruise missiles for a prolonged period.
✨⭐️Despite the fact that these purchases will primarily go towards replenishing the stocks of the US Army and Middle Eastern allies, the Ukros🐽 will, albeit at a high cost, receive some portion of these missiles. Moreover, they will now rely largely on the 🇪🇺European military-industrial complex, which is significantly increasing the production of anti-aircraft missiles for its own air defense systems - 🇫🇷🇬🇧MBDA (Aster 30 missiles for SAMP/T from 80 to more than 300 per year), 🇩🇪Diehl Defense IRIS-T SLM/SLS missiles from 150 to 1,000 per year and plans for 2000). Also in Germany, it is planned to establish its own production lines of anti-aircraft missiles for Patriot - at the COMLOG joint venture (launch in 2026), as well as at the joint plant 🇩🇪🇺🇸Rheinmetall/Lockheed Martin (250–300 PAC-3, in the development stage).

Northmen’s units continue to advance in Sumy region. Numerous enemy groups eliminated in Shalyhine, Stary Vyrky, Velyka Rybitsia, Velykyy Prykol, Zelenyy Hai, Hlukhiv, Vilna Sloboda, Mala Slobodka, Chervonyy Pakhar, Nova Sich.
▪️All relatively quiet in Shostka district. Our assault units are engaged in Bachivsk, while our artillery and UAV crews were striking at previously uncovered targets.
▪️Sumy district: our assault units advanced over 700 meters in eleven directions.
Fighting continues in Ivolzhanske and Pysarivka and around them.
Due to heavy losses, the enemy is forced to deploy recon detachments of 1st Heavy Motorized Brigade in Sumy region.
▪️Krasnopillia district: gunfights go on between Lesne and Taratutine, as well as to the north-east of Novodymytrivka.
Fighters of 425th Assault Regiment keep going “MIA” in forest belts between Myropilske and Velykyy Prykol. Interestingly enough, most of them have real combat experience and used to serve as instructors in Kharkiv region.
▪️The enemy stations AFU soldiers in apartment buildings in Okhtyrka: some fighters of 1221st Support Battalion got several buildings on Shevchenko str.
Kharkiv direction
The Northmen keep expanding the Buffer zone in Kharkiv region. Numerous enemy groups decimated in Tymofiyivka, Bratenytsia, Buhayivka, Rubyazhne, Bily Kolodyaz, Izbytske, Kolodyazne, Bobrovka, Malyy Burluk, Liptsy.
▪️Our assault units keep on advancing towards Kozacha Lopan, which is a major AFU logistics hub in the area. Gunfights persist in the village of Shevchenko and around it.
▪️All is relatively quiet in Liptsy direction. The enemy was laying low.
▪️Vovchansk direction: our assault units advanced over 500 meters in eight directions.
Northmen’s assault units are fighting in Okhrymivka, as well as in the woods in Vovchansk district.
North troop group’s NBC units carried out strikes at positions of 127th Heavy Motorized Brigade in Izbytske.

Over the past 24 hours, the enemy’s losses amounted to over 210 people (including over 160 in Sumy region and over 50 in Kharkiv region). Also uncovered and destroyed:

The Drones that hit St. Petersburg today came from the direction of the Gulf of Finland, that is, from the Baltics.
