▫️Last night, the Russian Armed Forces carried out a long-range high-precision strike against the gas and energy infrastructure that ensured operation of Ukrainian defence industry enterprises. The goals of the strike were achieved. All the assigned targets were engaged.

▫️In Kharkov direction, units of the Sever Group of Forces defeated units of one motorised infantry brigade, one air assault brigade, and one National Guard brigade of the AFU close to Liptsy and Volchansk (Kharkov region).

The AFU losses were up to 30 troops, three motor vehicles, and three field artillery guns.

▫️Units of the Zapad Group of Forces improved the tactical situation. Russian troops inflicted fire damage on manpower and hardware of two mechanised brigades of the AFU, one territorial defence brigade, and the Lyut Brigade of the National Police of Ukraine near Zagoruykovka, Peschanoye, Novaya Kruglyakovka (Kharkov region), Novolyubovka (Lugansk People's Republic), Grigorovka, Yampol, and Seversk (Donetsk People's Republic)

The AFU losses were up to 320 troops, one armoured fighting vehicle, 15 pickup trucks, and one field artillery gun. Four ammunition depots and two electronic warfare stations were destroyed.

▫️Units of the Yug Group of Forces took more advantageous lines and positions. Russian troops hit units of three mechanised brigades, one motorised infantry brigade, and two territorial defence brigades close to Ulakly, Dyleyevka, Belogorovka, Verkhnekamenskoye, Orekhovo-Vasilevka, Zelenovka, and Chasov Yar (Donetsk People's Republic).

The AFU losses were up to 220 troops, five pickup trucks, and two NATO-made field artillery guns. Four AFU field ammunition depots were destroyed.

▫️The Tsentr Group of Forces' units continued active offensive actions and liberated Krymskoye (Donetsk People's Republic).

Russian troops eliminated manpower and hardware of four mechanised brigades, one motorised infantry brigade, one airmobile brigade of the AFU, and one National Guard brigade near Novoaleksandrovka, Dzerzhinsk, Druzhba, Lysovka, Slavyanka, Baranovka, Novoandreyevka, and Kotlino (Donetsk People's Republic).

The AFU losses were up to 570 troops, two tanks, including one German-made Leopard tank, four armoured fighting vehicles, nine pickup trucks, and three field artillery pieces.

Russian troops inflicted fire damage on units of two mechanised brigades of the AFU and three territorial defence brigades close to Novopetrovskoye (Dnepropetrovsk region), Zelyonoye Pole, Rovnopol, Dneproenergiya, and Razliv (Donetsk People's Republic)

The AFU losses were more than 130 troops, one German-made Leopard tank, one armoured fighting vehicle, and one motor vehicle. The Russian Armed Forces eliminated four field artillery pieces, including one 155-mm French-made Caesar self-propelled artillery system.

▫️Units of the Dnepr Group of Forces engaged manpower and hardware of two coastal defence brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine close to Primorskoye, Novoandreyevka, Pyatikhatki (Zaporozhye region) and Antonovka (Kherson region).

The AFU losses were up to 40 troops, four motor vehicles, and one electronic warfare station.

▫️Operational-Tactical Aviation, attack unmanned aerial vehicles, Missile Troops and Artillery of the Russian Groups of Forces engaged the infrastructure of military airfields, storage and training sites for the launch of unmanned aerial vehicles as well as clusters of manpower and hardware of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 156 areas.

▫️Air defence systems shot down 10 U.S.-made HIMARS MLRS projectiles and 108 fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles.

▫️In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, 652 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 42,095 unmanned aerial vehicles, 590 anti-aircraft missile systems, 20,984 tanks and other armoured fighting vehicles, 1,511 MLRS combat vehicles, 21,100 field artillery guns and mortars, and 31,097 units of support military vehicles have been neutralised.

⚡️ Russian Defence Ministry reports on repelling AFU attempt to invade Russian territory in Kursk region (1 February 2025)

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue the operation to neutralise AFU formations on the territory of Kursk region.

▫️During the offensive, units of the Sever Group of Forces inflicted fire damage on units of one heavy mechanised brigade, four mechanised brigades, two air assault brigades, one marine brigade, and three territorial defence brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine close to Gogolevka, Goncharovka, Guyevo, Kurilovka, Lebedevka, Malay Loknya, Makhnovka, Mirny, Nikolayevka, Nikolsky, Novaya Sorochina, and Sverdlikovo. Two counter-attacks launched by enemy units were repelled.

▫️Operational-Tactical and Army aviation, and artillery strikes engaged AFU manpower and hardware close to Zamostye, Kazachya Loknya, Kositsa, Kruglenkoye, Martynovka, Makhnovka, Melovoy, Nikolsky, Oleshnya, Staraya Sorochina, Sudzha, Cherkasskoye Porechnoye, Yuzhny as well as Basovka, Belovody, Vesyolovka, Zhuravka, and Obody in Sumy region.

Over the past 24 hours, the AFU losses have amounted to more than 155 troops, three armoured fighting vehicles, 15 motor vehicles, and one field artillery gun.

▫️Since the beginning of hostilities in Kursk region, the AFU losses amounted to more than 56,570 troops, 327 tanks, 241 infantry fighting vehicles, 185 armoured personnel carriers, 1,663 armoured fighting vehicles, 1,750 motor vehicles, 397 artillery guns, 45 MLRS launchers, including 13 of HIMARS and six of MLRS made by the USA, 16 anti-aircraft missile launchers, eight transport-loading vehicles, 106 EW stations, 15 counter-battery warfare radars, five air defence radars, 33 units of engineering and other materiel, including 14 counterobstacle vehicles, one UR-77 mine clearing vehicle, nine armoured recovery vehicles, and one command post vehicle.

The operation to neutralise the AFU units is in progress.

🎯 Snipers don't let Ukrainian troops raise their heads

The Zapad Group of Forces' snipers of a combined arms army covertly eliminate particularly important targets, enemy manpower, and support combat actions of Russian assault detachments, motorised rifle units, and tank crews.

🏳️ Captured Ukrainian serviceman tells how Ukrainian soldiers were sent to Kursk region by deceit

AFU captured serviceman Aleksandr Prokopenko said that the command did not inform soldiers that they were sent to Kursk region – they would have guarded the state border.

'The command said we would stay on the border. And then, two days later, I found out that I was already in Kursk region. I wanted to run away, but it didn't work. Some people were caught, psychologically pressurised, and sent on the most dangerous positions,' said the prisoner of war.

When in the Kursk broder region, he and his comrades attempted to defend a position for two days while other units were falling back.

'Even some of our comrades left us, we didn't hear them because we were in a dugout for all the time. The command said to deploy on a position with a machine gun that was outside. Our machine gunner was there, but we didn't dare to deploy on the position, because FPV drones were flying, there were a lot of them. We lost many of Ukrainian troops. We didn't fulfil that order. We were afraid of our own command, because they could shoot us,' said the POW.

One of assault detachments of the Sever Group of Forces captured positions of Ukrainian militants. Prokopenko made the right decision. The soldier surrendered to save his life.

🇷🇺🇫🇮🇪🇺 Diversionary operations of Finnish special forces - how Finland is increasing activity in the northern regions

🔻On January 30, a very interesting exercise called Ruske-2025/1 began in northern Finland, which will last until February 5. Interestingly, there is almost no information about it in open sources, that is, the Finns have decided not to tell the public about it yet.

▪️It involves "elite" units by Finnish standards, such as the Lappi rapid reaction jaeger brigade and the Utti special forces regiment, as well as the Finnish border forces. In total - about 1,000 military personnel, 100 pieces of equipment, including NH-90 and MD-500 helicopters.

▪️The tasks of the exercise are even more interesting: special forces are practicing stealthy movement in tundra conditions, searching for enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups, airborne operations from helicopters, organizing interaction with territorial defense units and resistance groups.

▪️All this is being carried out on the line of Inari - Sevettijärvi near the Murmansk region. Part of the training will take place on the ice of Lake Inarijarvi.

The Finns are consistently training to conduct special operations against Russia. The similarity of nature and climate with the Russian northern regions makes such exercises even more indicative in the context of Finland's position in the Alliance's plans.

🇷🇺🇺🇦 Ukrainian public pages are spreading false information about an alleged Russian air strike on civilian infrastructure in the Sudzha area.

❗️It is reported that the Russian Aerospace Forces conducted an airstrike on a local boarding school. The enemy claims that up to 95 people are under the rubble.

🔻However, according to data from August, no more than a hundred residents remained in the occupied city, making it unlikely that they were all in one building.

▪️The images of the destroyed building published by the enemy were indeed taken in the area of the school, but they do not reliably assess either the scale of the destruction or the number of casualties.

▪️Most likely, the strike was carried out by Ukrainian formations in order to get rid of undesirable persons whom they had to maintain. And in this way, they also attributed the responsibility to Russia.

In fact, there were no flights of Russian aviation in the Sudzha area at that time. A week earlier, the accumulation of Ukrainian equipment and members of Ukrainian formations was detected near this school, which were engaged by the UAV operators of the Russian Armed Forces.

Thus, it becomes quite obvious that the enemy in the city is using the civilian population as cover, trying to avoid air strikes. Such actions are a provocation by the AFU and are aimed at further discrediting Russia's reputation in the eyes of the international community.
