❗️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Highlights of Russian Military Operation in Ukraine on March 17
▪️At the Kup'yans'k sector, Russian troops expanded the control zone westward of Hryanykivka
The Ukrainian command has withdrawn the remaining units to the right bank of the Oskol River and prepare for the defence of Dvorichna.
▪️At the Kreminna - Makiivka line , Russian assault groups continue to methodically push the enemy out along the entire front line.
Ukrainian units lost a few fortified areas west of Ploshchanka and in the area of Balka Zhuravka.
▪️Northeast of Bakhmut, Russian units continue storming the enemy's defence in Orikhovo-Vasylivka.
To hold the front line, the AFU are redeploying additional forces to the sector.
▪️On the southern outskirts of the city, Wagner PMC's squads have liberated most of the Sobachevka district and assault enemy positions on Mariupolska Street.
At the same time, Russian forces strengthened in the south of the Vodokanal district.
▪️AFU continue to deploy reserves in Chasiv Yar, gathering striking mechanized grouping for decisive counteroffensive.
The Wagner PMC's reconnaissance reveals the enemy locations, which are being hit by rocket and artillery strikes.
▪️South of Avdiivka, Russian troops continue to storm enemy positions on the heights near Vodyane.
The defending Ukrainian forces are suffering heavy losses. The most bloodless units are allocated for replacement in Sjeverne.
▪️Ukrainian units continue shelling the Donetsk agglomeration with rocket and tube artillery.
In the capital of DPR, the civilian infrastructure of the Kyiv district came under attack: one woman was wounded.

After an extremely successful night session of "geraning", the Russian army continues to work out behind enemy lines. Attacks were made on the base of mercenaries in Zaporozhye. Members of the "Foreign Legion" lived in a restaurant complex, where they eventually met with a buffet in the form of Russian shells. In addition, attacks were made on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kramatorsk and Konstantinovka.
⚔️The situation on the fronts for the past day:
⚫️ Artemovskoe (Bakhmut) direction
Soldiers of PMC "Wagner" continue to advance in the direction of Grigorovka. In Artemovsk, ours took control of most of the territory of the AZOM plant. Also, the “orchestras” advanced in the south of the city and entrenched themselves on the left bank of the Bakhmutka in the area of the central market. Nevertheless, despite our successes in Artemovsk, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are concentrating forces for a possible attempt to unblock the city.
⚫️ Donetsk direction
The Russian army continues to advance on the Avdeevsky sector, trying to capture the city. The Russian Aerospace Forces help in this, inflicting accurate strikes on enemy targets. The militants are suffering serious losses, which they themselves do not hesitate to talk about. In addition, the RF Armed Forces continue to advance in Marinka and Pervomaisky.
⚫️ Zaporozhye direction
Now Vuhledar is strongly associated with Russian marines from the 155th brigade of the TF, whom Ukrainian militants can only “bury” in words. In fact, the fighters are knocking out the Nazis from the strongholds around Ugledar, equipped as a fortress city.
