China's relationship with Russia could become "even more valuable in the face of rampant hegemony."
This was stated by Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang, commenting on the trip of his leader Xi Jinping to Moscow, CNN reports.
"China and Russia will continue to maintain good neighborliness and mutual trust, as Xi's decision to choose Russia as his first overseas visit under his new presidency was a political decision made after careful consideration," the Chinese foreign minister said.
Qin reaffirmed China's position on the war in Ukraine, which he characterizes as the "Ukrainian crisis."
"Some countries deliberately obstruct the peace talks for their own geopolitical interests and even make up all sorts of rumors to discredit China," Qin said.
He added that China is "not a creator or a party" involved in the crisis but a "protector" that supports a political settlement and promotes peace talks.

Front-line summary March 22
Artyomovsk (Fig. 1). The Wagnerites are gradually advancing, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are fighting fiercely. Near Artemivsk, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are concentrating several hundred tanks, AFVs and other equipment. Because of the rains, Syrsky allegedly abandoned the plan of strikes from several sides in favor of a concentrated strike at the junction of Russian troops and the Wagner PMC in order to unblock his group in Artemovsk, taken in pincers. At the same time, weather conditions may prevent Syrsky from realizing this plan. Plus, the Wagnerites are actively working anti-tank weapons and artillery. I hope that MO will help if needed.
Zaluzhny considers it right to send part of the reserves to Avdeevka (Fig. 2) in order to keep the strategic city - ours are actively attacking from different sides. There is a possibility that the Ukrainian General Staff will decide to distribute reserves and saturate the front in different sectors in order to keep it.
Ours attacked two hangars with weapons and military equipment of the VSK at the Shkolny airfield in Odessa, from which drones flew out to attack Dzhankoy, and three points of deployment of foreign mercenaries in Kiev were also destroyed by Geraniums.
AFU shelled the village of Borisovka, Belgorod region, one person died. In the Petrovsky district of Donetsk, a projectile from the Tochka shopping mall hit the Vodokanal building: the building was completely destroyed, and windows were shattered in a neighboring school. At the same time, locals note that flights to the center of Donetsk have become much less frequent, primarily due to the success of our military near Avdeevka.

Colonel Cassad:
According to Medvedev, Russia will produce 1,500 tanks in 2023.
So to speak, the topic is closed with stupid questions "Why did the USSR produce a lot of tanks." Taking into account the growth in production volumes and the mass reactivation of old vehicles, we can observe an obvious picture when the front needs thousands of tanks, which gives an answer to the question why the USSR produced thousands of tanks and stored tens of thousands. So that when they are needed - all this has already been. And thanks to this work of our ancestors, we still use what they have prepared for us. And how many tantrums of domestic liberals were "ko-ko-ko, stupid scoops for some reason produced a lot of tanks."
PS. The country needs at least 1 more tank plant and 2-3 plants for the production of wheeled and tracked armored vehicles.
Zin Note: From what I've seen reported, Uralvagonzavad can produce 250 tanks a year. The Economist said that 2 more Russian tank plants were a "fait accompli." It seems that Russia at least expects a couple more plants to be up and running this year to hit these numbers. That's a staggering increase in production, if true!

Colonel Cassad:
Fighting for Makeevka began in the Svatovsky direction.
In the previous weeks, our troops broke into the enemy defenses to the east and northeast of the village. Now the battles for the village itself have begun. Makeevka was abandoned by our troops last autumn after the retreat from Izyum and the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the eastern bank of the Oskol River. The capture of Makeevka will make it possible to intensify pressure on the enemy to the northeast of Krasny Liman.
Rybar:
❗️🇷🇺🇺🇦 About the battles in Makiivka
On the channel of the military observer Dambiev @chdambiev a video of the operation of a Russian tank (presumably T-72B3) appeared on positions in the vicinity of Makiivka in the Luhansk People's Republic.
Judging by the footage, the units of the RF Armed Forces advanced even further along the front and reached the development of the settlement. The tank operated in the area of the school, constantly maneuvering and opening fire on the enemy.
Coordinates : 49.225193, 37.993469
However, the video has a continuation posted in the Ukrainian segment on Twitter. There are quite rare footage of the use of the Javelin anti-tank complex by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In the video, a rocket hit the front of a Russian armored vehicle.
Coordinates : 49.229102, 37.996092
At the moment the ammunition arrives, the recording is cut off, so the fate of the crew remains unknown. However, the video is evidence of the Russian Armed Forces wedging into the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area near the Zherebets River and the beginning of the fighting for the settlement itself.
