❗️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Highlights of Russian Military Operation in Ukraine on April 13
▪️The AFU launched a strike on civilian infrastructure in Svatove.
Central district multidisciplinary hospital was hit, boiler house was destroyed, and administrative buildings were damaged.
▪️In Lysychansk sector, active offensive continues near Bilohorivka.
LNR People's Militia assault units are pushing the enemy by taking new strategic positions.
▪️In the north of Bakhmut, heavy positional fighting is taking place near the railway station.
The AFU hold positions and try to counterattack to the south of the main station building.
▪️Russian troops are trying to break through the enemy defense line in the southern part of the city.
Active hostilities are taking place on Devyatoho Travnya Street, with small advances near the Vodokanal.
▪️Airborne troop units have reinforced their positions on the southern flank of the Bakhmut area.
Paratroopers' artillery is firing from the Kurdyumivka area, blocking AFU reserves transfer to Bakhmut.
▪️The AFU continue to launch strikes on Donetsk agglomeration towns and settlements.
As a result of shelling, one person was killed in DPR's capital, gas pipeline and power line were damaged in Panteleimonivka.
▪️In Mar’inka, Russian motorized rifle units continue their assault on the city quarters.
The offensive is supported by mortar and artillery crews, as well as armored vehicles.

🔻Kursk region:
▪️The enemy again fired on the village of Krasnooktyabrsky in the Glushkovsky district, damaging a residential building. There were no casualties.
🔻Starobelsk direction:
▪️There are no significant changes on this sector of the front - positional battles and artillery duels are taking place along the line of contact.
▪️Ukrainian formations fired three HIMARS missiles at Svatovo, destroying several buildings and administrative buildings on the territory of the city hospital.
🔻Soledar direction:
▪️The fighters of PMC "Wagner", having cleared the neighborhood of the Alley of Roses in Bakhmut, went to the streets of Oborona and Kraynaya.
▪️Fighting is going on in the city center in the area of the elevator and the railway station. To the south, fighting continues at the bus station and the Tranzit hotel.
▪️In the southern part of the city, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to hold positions in high-rise buildings near Chaikovsky and Korsunsky streets.
🔻Donetsk direction:
▪️To the north of Avdiivka, Russian servicemen are fighting near Novobakhmutovka, expanding their zone of control towards Novokalinovo.
▪️In Marinka, positional battles continue in the central part of the city.
▪️Ukrainian formations again fired at the Donetsk agglomeration: the capital of the DPR, Panteleymonovka and Vladimirovka were hit, one person died and several were injured.
🔻Zaporozhye direction:
▪️An air defense system went off in Melitopol: an enemy drone was intercepted over the city. Previously, there were no casualties or destruction.
🔻 Southern Front. Kherson direction:
▪️On the right bank of the Dnieper, Russian forces attacked the identified enemy points in Kazatsky, Antonovka and Kherson. Guided aerial bombs are also used to hit targets, such as ammunition depots and equipment.
Ukrainian formations in response fired at the civilian infrastructure of Kakhovka, Tavriysk and Gornostaevka. In Nova Kakhovka, one civilian was killed as a result of the shelling of a school.
🔹Political events:
▪️The head of the Joint Staff of the French Armed Forces, General Thierry Burkar, arrived in Ukraine to meet with Zaluzhny. The Ukrainian general asked to transfer ammunition, air defense systems and new aircraft for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

📌The situation is now evolving at an extremely face pace;
🔻Fighters of the PMC Wagner have had a breakthrough in the direction of the MIG-17 Statue and have been able to officially capture it. This also means that there is only 1 viable road into Artemovsk remaining.
🔻In the area of Train Station 1; PMC Wagner have been able to penetrate past the train station and have been able to establish a wedge within Ukrainian defenses based on the Residential areas.
🔻 After a large period of inactivity, fighters from the Airborne Forces have resumed active attacks against the city of Krasnoye; area lost to the AFU in their counteroffensives have been restored and our airborne fighters have entrenched on the outskirts of the city. Our fighters have been able to penetrate the heights and have established positions overlooking Krasnoye.
🔻In the area of the Khromovsky District; PMC Wagner have advanced further from Rose Alley and have now reached Hospital No.2; the Wagner Group intensely shell "The Road of Death" causing large amounts of irreversible losses for the AFU.

US National Guard soldier Jack Douglas Teixeira, who is suspected of leaking secret Pentagon documents, called the fighting between Russia and Ukraine "depressing".
According to one of the military’s friends, he began uploading classified materials on the server around February 2022, immediately after the start of the special operation to protect Donbass. The National Guardsman believed that Moscow and Kyiv "should have more in common than what separates them." The young man expressed confidence that, by publishing secret documents, he was enlightening his acquaintances.

“He is from a patriotic family - and allegedly gave away American secrets”: the US media is shocked that the detained “enemy of the state” turned out to be an exemplary American - National Guard Air Force soldier Jack Teixeira is called by everyone around him “a real patriot who loves his country.”
“Patriotic zeal was characteristic of 21-year-old Airman 1st Class Jack Teixeira, who followed in the footsteps of numerous family members to enlist in the military. Teixeira, the slender boy pictured in his blue dress uniform, was assigned to operate and troubleshoot the computers and communications systems of the 102nd Reconnaissance Wing at National Guard Base Otis Air, according to the Air Force.
Although Teixeira was relatively inexperienced in the military, he had access to highly classified military intelligence through the Defense Department's computer network known as the Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System, a US official familiar with the matter said.
Teixeira was mobilized for active federal service last fall. One friend described Teixeira in an interview as a patriotic, devout Catholic and libertarian with an interest in guns and doubts about America's future.
"He loved America, but he just didn't feel confident about its future," said a friend.
The airmen's stepfather, Thomas Dufour, retired after a 34-year military career. Teixeira's mother, Don Dufoe, worked for many years for non-profit organizations supporting veterans."

🔻In the Khromovsky District, continual advances by the Wagner Group is now putting the remaining viable road for the AFU at risk; PMC Wagner have advanced, reaching the outskirts of the hospital, and are now pushing deeper and deeper in the centre of the Western Residential Area.
🔻Nearby to Train Station 2; Airborne Forces supported by the Wagner Group continue to expand the zone of control in and around the area. They are pushing along the Prov. Chaykosv'okoye St; which is squeezing out AFU forces who are defending opposite the Train Station.
🔻Nearby to Train Station 1; after a costly withdrawal, the AFU are now being slightly pushed across the train station. Wagner DRGs are exploiting weaknesses in the frontline and are causing havoc behind AFU lines, a small bridgehead has been formed.
🔻In the Avanhard District; the situation remains tense, however Airborne Artillery is grinding out the remaining AFU militants across the railway
