βοΈπ·πΊπΊπ¦ Kherson direction
situation by the end of April 25, 2023
π»The situation in the Kherson region along the Dnieper River has escalated. In recent weeks, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been trying to gain a foothold on the left bank, sending reconnaissance groups and probing the defense of the RF Armed Forces in this area.
βͺοΈFor several days, the main events took place on Bolshoi Potemkin Island - to the south, near Kindiyka - to the east, and near Veletensky to the west of the administrative center. The districts have been partly in the "grey zone" for some time now.
π»In the Golopristansky sector, the crew of MANPADS of the Russian Armed Forces shot down a Ukrainian Su-25 attack aircraft over Veletensky, and Russian Aerospace Forces aircraft struck FABs at the landing area of the Ukrainian SOF troops south of Kizomys.
βͺοΈAt the same time, yesterday the Armed Forces of Ukraine forcibly evacuated civilians from Veletensky and Kizomys in preparation for the landing of special forces assault groups on the left bank of the Dnieper. Over the Kherson and Nikolaev regions, the Bayraktar UAVs operate almost continuously.
π»In the Kherson region, Russian artillerymen, supported by aviation, carried out several massive attacks on Ukrainian positions on Bolshoi Potemkin Island, in Antonovka, Vysuntsy and the coastal zone of Dach and Kindiyka.
βͺοΈFrom the Tyaginka-Berislav-Zmievka line, the crews of the 124th and 126th brigades of the territorial defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to fire mortar and artillery positions of the RF Armed Forces. Target designation is provided by reconnaissance copters.
π»At the Kryvyi Rih sector in the area of Dudchan, Zolotoy Balka and Maryansky, assault groups of the 121st Separate Terodefense Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are being trained to force water barriers.
βͺοΈAlso, the forces of the 71st separate Jaeger brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted a training session to storm strongholds in urban areas together with the forces of the TRO on the Pokrov-Nikopol-Marganets section.
π»At the moment, significant forces of Ukrainian formations with a total strength of over 15 thousand people are concentrated in the Kherson direction (at least 20 troop battalions with attached artillery units, a brigade of the National Guard and 71 brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine).
At the same time, the transfer of new formations in the Zaporozhye region continues. Today, a mechanized battalion of the 118th Smbre of the 10th AC of the Armed Forces of Ukraine arrived at Tavriyskoe north of Orekhov. By April 30, the 116th, 118th Smbre and 46thSOmbr from Pavlograd should arrive at the Orekhovsky and Gulyaipolsky sectors.
The current maneuvers of the Ukrainian DRG in the Kherson region are similar to attempts to divert the attention of the Russian command from preparing for a strike in the Zaporozhye direction. And, most likely, in the event of an attack on Tokmok and Melitopol, one should expect synchronized actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the right bank of the Dnieper to pin down the RF Armed Forces.

Kharkiv region is preparing for radioactive contamination
On April 13, the Kharkiv Region Prosecutor's Office began checking the technical condition of bomb shelters and other shelters with a capacity of more than 100 people, organized at the facilities of public utilities and budgetary organizations.
The check began after the examination of the shelters by the staff of the Main Directorate of the State Service of Ukraine for Emergency Situations in the Kharkiv region. The inspectors found that 85% of anti-radiation shelters do not have the appropriate equipment and property: medical equipment, medicines, personal protective equipment, diesel power plants. Communication and warning systems are in poor condition, although money was allocated from the regional budget for this.
We already wrote that the mayor of Pervomaisky Baksheev, in his appeals to the residents of the city, often began to talk about "anti-radiation shelters", meaning the usual basements of five-story buildings. Allegedly, everything is ready and the citizens have nothing to fear.
Well, yes - a sign indicating that there is an anti-radiation shelter in the basement of the Khrushchev building will certainly save people from depleted uranium. And there is no doubt that these shells are going to be used by the Ukrainian army in the near future. The British Undersecretary of Defense has already said that London has sent thousands of nuclear-tipped munitions to Ukraine.
The Leopard 2 tank, as well as the Bradley and Marder infantry fighting vehicles, are equipped with sabot-piercing uranium-core armor-piercing shells, the use of which leads to contamination of the area, as happened in Yugoslavia and Iraq. Now Ukraine is next in line, the Kharkiv region in the first place.
