🇬🇧🇺🇦 About the massive raid of Ukrainian UAVs on the Crimean peninsula
Tonight, Ukrainian formations once again tried to strike with drones at important military and civilian infrastructure in the Crimea and Sevastopol .
The Armed Forces of Ukraine launched 23 UAVs (22 Mugin-5 types and one Tu-141 Swift jet) in three groups of seven UAVs on average from Shkolny airfields in Odessa and Hydroport on the northwestern outskirts of the city.
As a result of the active work of the air defense systems of the 31st air defense division, the Black Sea Fleet and electronic warfare units, all UAVs were hit and landed near Sevastopol and Gvardeisky , there was no damage. One of the UAVs fell into a field near the Monastery Highway .
🔻Over the past two days, this is the second attempt to strike at the Crimean peninsula. On May 6, Ukrainian formations launched from the Grom-2 OTRK from a position area in Zaporozhye . The rocket fell in a field near the village of Privetnoye in the Kirovsky district.
The increased frequency of attacks by Ukrainian drones and tactical missiles on the Crimean peninsula is direct evidence of preparations for an offensive. It is the southern direction that is of strategic interest to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
By characteristic signs, in the Odessa region, preparations are underway for another UAV launch, despite the night strike of the RF Armed Forces on Shkolny. Attempts of raids by drones and OTRK should be expected both today and tomorrow on the eve of Victory Day on May 9th.
Night strikes make it possible to maintain the desired degree of tension in the situation on the peninsula. And at this stage, the main goal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is to calculate the air defense position areas before a more massive launch of the UAV.

Artyomovskoe direction - the situation for the evening 05/07/23
Today, against the backdrop of assurances from the Russian Defense Ministry that the Wagner PMC will receive everything necessary to continue the operation in Artemovsk, the "musicians" have achieved significant success.
Firstly, coverage of the high-rise area continues (on map 1 under No. 3) from the north-western direction (in the private sector), which gradually cuts off the possibilities for the Armed Forces of Ukraine to supply the remnants of the city's garrison from the west.
Secondly, today the enemy has completely lost control over area No. 4 (on map 1), which allows further assault operations in the direction of the street. Bulavin, the capture of which will lead our units to the outskirts of the city, after which the "hamers" famously flying across the fields (see video) can be hit by ATGMs.
Against this background, there were reports that the enemy was actively trying to "feel" our positions a little to the north (Map 2), trying to find weak spots in the defense of the "Tula paratroopers". And this may indicate that, despite the unfavorable weather forecast, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine may take the risk of getting involved in a head-on battle with the Wagner PMC and units of the Airborne Forces north of Artemovsk (from Seversk).
