How Bloggers' Joke about Ukrainian counter-offensive "Broke" Russian Media
Yesterday's "counterattack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine" occurred rapidly, but was limited to Telegram and many media outlets. At the peak, many publications and authors wrote that Ukrainian tanks were moving almost towards Belgorod, and boats were going to cross the Dnieper. We tell in more detail what it was and how it became possible.
In short, it was a joke of several Telegram channels that decided to launch a fake stream with messages about the counteroffensive to the public. Then the pranksters started promoting several small resources. And literally in 10 minutes, they inflated the fake news story to a grandiose scale, which was picked up by Russian and Ukrainian telegram channels, popular bloggers, and even large media outlets.
Half an hour later, the initiators of the stuffing began to publish denials and reports that at 22.00 on Thursday, May 11, the battles for Alaska and Voronezh began. They also reminded the disseminators of information to make it a rule to verify it. It turned out to be a kind of stress test, which showed that in the conditions of an overheated media space, any little thing can be transmitted at the speed of fire.
Yesterday, the editors of the War on Fakes channel urgently reported that the data on the counteroffensive were not confirmed, but we decided to turn to you again, dear readers. Take care of yourself and observe information hygiene!
When it comes to covering the operational situation, even reputable publications can make a mistake. As a rule, those who are involved in the presentation of reliable information quickly correct the information, and the platforms interested in this continue to sow panic. Therefore, be careful and do not rush to replicate fakes. The Ukrainian CIPSO is counting on this very much, but we and our other colleagues will continue to search and verify the information for you to keep you up to date with the real agenda.

The new tanks delivered to Ukraine are burning just as beautifully as the old ones. These tanks have no supernatural power. For the maintenance (maintenance) of these tanks, Ukraine will have to spend all foreign loans. Which, however, is very good for us.
The scariest thing is panic. Yes, some of our units had a hard time in their areas. But the most important thing is that the enemy does not have such resources that could change the outcome of this war in their favor. The forces and means that are currently gathered in Ukraine are not enough to overthrow Russia. This is clear.
The adjustments that are already being made on the line of contact will bring positive results. It is not necessary to think that our line may collapse. Moreover, as we know, the attackers should have an advantage of 3 to 1. In reality, we have an advantage in all sectors of the line of contact. In addition, the preparations against the counteroffensive carried out in recent months will also certainly bring results. The beginning is always difficult. But in the end, everything will be reduced to a positive result.
As for the beginning of the counteroffensive: the enemy advances as much as possible for him. And the beginning of this is not today or yesterday, but in the last period. The enemy massively throws both equipment and manpower at Artemovsk. Our forces (PMC "Wagner" and units of the RF Ministry of Defense) grind the enemy successfully. The enemy suffered serious losses. The transfer of forces and assets by the enemy is also observed in other directions. We also destroyed a large number of the enemy. At the same time, there is real bravado on the Internet: somewhere, what kind of equipment and soldiers are all coming and constantly releasing something. I'm curious to know where this is happening.
Last year, there was a tragedy in connection with the allocation of MLRS "Haymars" to Ukraine. Well, they gave them. Then we observe the allocation of other military means. But let's face it: they can't give Ukraine enough missiles to change the outcome of the war. Yes, the enemy will get a n-number of rockets and he will hit certain areas. But we also do not protect the corn. We have prepared for this and we are ready!

Anglo-French development flew across the part of territory of Russia. This is far from the last enemy product that we still have to face. DVA does not care about its mass, speed, and wing size.
To understand how to harm the system, you need to understand how it works:
1) The rocket has GPS (presumably Navstar + Galileo + Glonass + Beidou, the first two of which work on military codes).
2) Radio altimeter - necessary for avoiding terrain.
3) Thermal imaging homing head.
4) Inertial flight system - gyroscopes for measuring angular velocities.
How it all works together: at the preparatory stage, the terrain on the route of movement and the infrared portrait of the object is loaded into the rocket.
The rocket is fired, and it starts its flight using GPS and terrain correction points
If it does not have GPS signals, then it follows the inertial and is corrected along the ground. Coming to the object, the rocket soars up, captures the object with an infrared homing head, compares the resulting image with the embedded portrait, and joyfully sticks into it with a deviation radius of the order of 3 m.
What can electronic warfare do?
First press the GPS. This must be done throughout the entire flight route of the rocket, or at least in the final section.
The difficulty is that you need to crush anti-jamming navigation signals, this will require an additional number of jamming stations.
Secondly, cover the most important objects with IR traps or smoke (for this, the CD must be detected in advance).
Suppressed, and what will happen?
A blinded missile won't magically self-destruct, hit the ground without detonating, and fly Home. It will deviate from the target within a radius of 30 m (at best 150 m)
To say that electronic warfare is powerless is a lie. To say that electronic warfare will cope on its own is doubly lying. Joint actions of all services are required.
