❗️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Highlights of Russian Military Operation in Ukraine on May 27-28
▪️On Sunday night, Russian troops launched massive strikes against targets in central Ukraine.
A powerful explosion was detected in Zhytomyr, where one of the fuel infrastructure facilities appears to have been destroyed.
▪️The main target of the strike was Kyiv: according to statements from the field, it was the most massive Geran UAV raid since the start of the special operation.
Hits were recorded at several infrastructure facilities. At the same time, at least two air defense missiles struck residential buildings.
▪️The weekend was also marked by an increase in the intensity of attacks by the AFU on the border areas of the Belgorod region.
The village of Maslova Pristan' came under fire from MLRS, and Shebekino was shelled several times. Several people were wounded and one was killed.
▪️In addition, the number of drone attacks is increasing.
In Bryansk region, a Ukrainian UAV struck a Russian army vehicle, killing two servicemen.

Anyone who has been around for awhile probably already realizes that superpowers meddle in others elections regularly. This post is just a glimpse into one of the ways the US meddles in Ukraine elections.
Until the fighting begins, national military strategy developed in peacetime shapes thinking about warfare and its objectives. Then the fighting creates a new logic of its own. Strategy is adjusted. Objectives change. The battle for Bakhmut illustrates this point very well.
When General Sergey Vladimirovich Surovikin, commander of Russian aerospace forces, assumed command of the Russian military in the Ukrainian theater last year, President Vladimir Putin and his senior military advisors concluded that their original assumptions about the war were wrong. Washington had proved incurably hostile to Moscow’s offers to negotiate, and the ground force Moscow had committed to compel Kiev to negotiate had proved too small.
Surovikin was given wide latitude to streamline command relationships and reorganize the theater. Most importantly, Surovikin was also given the freedom of action to implement a defensive strategy that maximized the use of stand-off attack or strike systems while Russian ground forces expanded in size and striking power.
