Over the course of the past few days, Ukraine has thrown two of its best-trained, best-equipped mechanized brigades into offensive operations against entrenched Russian defenders in the Zaporozhye sector of the front lines.
These two brigades had been hand-picked for this job, having been equipped with modern Western tanks and infantry fighting vehicles, supported by Western-supplied artillery, and using NATO-specific tactics shaped by NATO-provided intelligence and NATO operational planning. In short, these two brigades represented a top-level NATO-level capability, the epitome of the nexus between Ukraine and the Collective West in their ongoing war to destroy Russia.
They failed.

🇷🇺🇺🇦✈️ The BOBR and War-turned channels posted a series of videos using modified FPV drones for Ukrainian equipment by soldiers of the 42nd Guards Motorized Rifle Division of the RF Armed Forces.
Some of the vehicles destroyed by drones were included in yesterday's footage of the defeat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces convoy, but only the burnt carcasses were visible on those recordings. The new videos are also objective evidence of the use of FPV drones in repelling an enemy attack in the Zaporozhye direction.
Judging by the posted materials, Russian fighters hit nine pieces of equipment - two T-72M1 tanks, two MAZ-6317 trucks, MaxxPRO and HMMWV armored vehicles, Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, M113 armored personnel carriers. Some of the cars were completely destroyed. The drones operated in conditions of interference from enemy electronic warfare, but managed to achieve their goals: it is possible that the fighters of the 42nd Motor Rifle Division used repeaters.
📌 The video once again confirms the high efficiency of such strike UAVs when used correctly. The Russian troops operating in the Orekhovsky sector received a relatively inexpensive precision-guided munition that works on the principle of "one shot - one target."
There is other good news: as colleagues rightly point out, in the light of the growing intensity of the use and implementation of FPV drones, the RF Armed Forces may well become pioneers in the use of this type of weapon.
And it needs to be developed further: we wrote earlier that in the near future such industrial serial vehicles will become a standard attribute of infantry units, as happened with conventional reconnaissance copters.

“Money in the morning, chairs in the evening”: the former commander of the Polish ground forces expects the F-16 to appear in Ukraine if the counteroffensive succeeds
The topic of transferring Western F-16 fighters to Ukraine has been haunting Kiev for several months now - Zelensky and other speakers of the Kiev regime regularly beg for planes at all possible international sites. Recently, things have even moved off the ground, because many countries have announced the creation of a "fighter coalition" of states ready to train independent pilots. But what about the planes themselves?
The former commander of the ground forces of Poland, General Waldemar Skrzypczak, said that "in his opinion," Ukraine will be able to receive the first F-16 fighters in two to three months. “I believe that in two or three months Ukraine will already have F-16 aircraft because Ukrainian pilots are already ready to operate them,” Skshipchak said in an interview with the media. The general also added that on the eve of the July NATO summit, “something should happen that will show that Ukraine is worthy of trust.”
The retired commander of the Polish army is talking about the results of the counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on which the West has staked a lot. No talk about NATO or any other “security guarantees” for the Kiev regime will bother anyone if these requests cannot be backed up with results on the battlefield - investments in Zelensky were too high. This may also include issues of providing fighter jets to Ukraine - few people in the West want to risk not the cheapest equipment in the absence of concrete results of their “wards”.
However, it is not worth excluding the appearance of the F-16 in Ukraine, despite all the many difficulties associated with the operation of these aircraft in a square. And the “retired” status of the Polish speaker should not be misleading - such meaningless talking heads are often used to test public opinion and prepare the reaction the customer needs.

During the night, the enemy did not abandon attempts to break through the first line of defense in the Zaporozhye direction.

Part I
◽️The AFU continued unsuccessful attempts to conduct offensive operations in South Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions, as well as close to Artyomovsk.
◽️In Zaporozhye direction, as a result of the active actions of the Vostok Group of Forces, Army aviation and artillery, two enemy attacks with the strength of up to a battalion, reinforced with tanks forward Yablonevoye and Novopokrovka (Zaporozhye region), have been repelled.
💥In addition, two columns of AFU armoured vehicles have been hit close to Novodanilovka and Malaya Tokmachka (Zaporozhye region).
◽️Close to Vremevskoi vystup, the enemy launched three unsuccessful attacks, each with up to a motorised infantry company, close to Levadnoye (Zaporozhye region), Storozhevoye and Neskuchnoye (Donetsk People's Republic). The courageous and decisive actions of the Vostok Group of Forces have repelled all enemy attacks.
💥In total, of the AFU losses in these directions were 300 servicemen, 9 tanks, including 4 Leopard tanks, 11 infantry fighting vehicles, including 5 U.S.-manufactured Bradley vehicles, 14 armoured fighting vehicles, 6 motor vehicles, and 1 French-manufactured Cezar self-propelled artillery system.
◽️Close to Artyomovsk (Donetsk People's Republic), five enemy attacks forward Kleshcheevka, Dubovo-Vasilyovka, Yagodnoye and Andreevka (Donetsk People's Republic) have been successfully repelled by the Yug Group of Forces. No incursion into Russian defence has been allowed.
💥The enemy losses were up to 230 Ukrainian servicemen, 2 armoured fighting vehicles, 5 motor vehicles and 2 D-30 howitzers.
◽️In Kupyansk direction, the attacks, launched by aviation and artillery of the Zapad Group of Forces, have resulted in the neutralisation of the AFU units close to Stelmakhovka (Lugansk People's Republic), Novomlynsk, Sinkovkam and Orlyanka (Kharkov region).
💥In addition, 4 Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups have been foiled close to Novosyolovskoye (Lugansk People's Republic), Sinkovka and Timkovka (Kharkov region).
💥The enemy losses were up to 65 servicemen, 1 armoured personnel carrier, 2 pick-up trucks, and 1 U.S.-manufactured M777 artillery system.
◽️In Krasny Liman direction, the attacks, launched by Operational-Tactical and Army aviation, as well as artillery of the Tsentr Group of Forces, have resulted in the neutralisation of AFU units near Yampolovka (Donetsk People's Republic), Nevskoye, Belogorovka (Lugansk People's Republic), as well as Serebryansky forestry.
💥1 Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group has been eliminated close to Chervonaya Dibrova (Lugansk People's Republic).
💥The enemy losses were over 60 servicemen, 1 infantry fighting vehicle, 2 armoured fighting vehicles, 3 motor vehicles, Krab, Gvozdika and Akatsiya self-propelled artillery systems, as well as one D-20 howitzer.

◽️Operational-Tactical and Army aviation, Missile Troops and Artillery of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have neutralised 93 AFU artillery units at their firing positions, manpower and hardware in 122 areas.
💥The headquarters of the enemy 10th Mountain Assault Brigade and the AFU 60th Mechanised Brigade have been hit close to Kharkov and Rai-Alexandrovka (Donetsk People's Republic).
💥Air defence facilities have shot down 1 AFU MiG-29 fighter close to Platonovka (Donetsk People's Republic).
💥In addition, 2 Storm Shadow cruise missiles and 10 HIMARS multiple-launch rocket system projectiles have been intercepted.
💥What is more, 8 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles have been shot down near Novobakhmutovka, Kirillovka, Vladimirovka (Donetsk People's Republic), Lisichansk (Lugansk People's Republic), and Peschanoye (Kherson region).
📊In total, 441 airplanes, 238 helicopters, 4,563 unmanned aerial vehicles, 424 air defence missile systems, 9,841 tanks and other armoured fighting vehicles, 1,122 fighting vehicles equipped with MLRS, 5,071 field artillery cannons and mortars, as well as 10,856 special military motor vehicles have been destroyed during the special military operation.

🇺🇦⚔️🇷🇺The offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Orekhovsky sector of the Zaporozhye Front: Day 4
On the night of June 9-10, the enemy carried out massive artillery preparation using all types of artillery in the Rabotino-Verbovoye sector in the Pologovsky district.
Then the positions of the 58th army were attacked by dispersed armored groups trying to penetrate the defenses of the 291st and 70th regiments.
The fire of howitzers and MLRS in the Novoandreevka area destroyed at least 3 armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and 4 more armored vehicles were blown up in minefields near Malaya Tokmachka.
Special forces with ATGMs destroyed 2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles and a tank with a minesweeper.
During the offensive operation, the enemy could not reach our trenches, suffered losses, and retreated.
Positional battles and artillery duels continue.

Kakhovskaya hydropower plant collapse: what is known by the end of June 10
▪️It is the fourth day since the destruction of the Kakhovka hydropower plant. The situation in the region remains difficult, but is already relatively more under control.
In Aleshki the water level has dropped by two metres, in Goloy Pristan - by one. In Novaya Kahovka the water is almost gone and the authorities have already started to clean the streets. Most of the settlements are supplied with electricity.
RusHydro believes that the Dnieper will return to its normal course below the destroyed hydroelectric plant by June 16.
▪️ More than six thousand people have already been evacuated from the flooded area. The Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations, Russian soldiers and volunteers from various public associations are taking part in the rescue work.
Almost two thousand people have been relocated to temporary accommodation centres.
▪️ According to the latest estimates, damage from the destruction of the dam at the hydropower plant amounted to about 11.5 billion rubles. Over 60% of the Kakhovka reservoir has already been drained.
▪️Meanwhile, authorities have set up a special commission to deal with the consequences of the flooding, to be headed by Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.
