⚡️ Russian Defence Ministry report on the progress of the special military operation in Ukraine
(September 26, 2022)
The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue the special military operation.
💥 Massive fire attack launched at the bases of 14th Mechanised and 95th Airborne Assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) near Senkovo and Chervony Oskol (Kharkov region) have resulted in causing casualties of over 120 enemy servicemen and 15 units of military equipment.
💥 High-precision attacks launched by Russian Aerospace Forces at the provisional bases of the 'Foreign Legion' and units from nationalist groups near Svyatogorsk (Donetsk People's Republic) have resulted in the elimination of up to 100 militants.
💥 Missile attack launched at a forward command post of 10th Mountain Assault Brigade of the AFU near Chasov Yar (Donetsk People's Republic) during the brigade commanders' conference has resulted in the elimination of up to 25 Ukrainian servicemen and wounding of over 40.
◽️ 8 units of special military equipment have been neutralised.
💥 High-precision attack at a provisional base of 406th Artillery Brigade of the AFU near Ochakov (Nikolayev region) has resulted in the elimination of up to 50 militants, 10 units of military equipment and over 2,000 artillery projectiles.
💥 Operational-tactical and army aviation, missile troops and artillery have neutralised 5 AFU command posts near Kupyansk (Kharkov region), Shchurovo, Kirovo (Donetsk People's Republic), Kamyshevakha (Zaporozhye region) and Vysokopolye (Kherson region), as well as of 56 artillery units, 163 manpower and military equipment concentration areas.
◽️ 3 AFU missile, artillery armament and munitions depots near Zaporozhye, Nikolayev and Kramatorsk (Donetsk People's Republic) have been destroyed.
💥 Fighter aviation of Russian Aerospace Forces has shot down 1 Su-24 airplane of Ukrainian Air Force near Selidovo (Donetsk People's Republic).
💥 Russian air defence facilities have shot down 13 unmanned aerial vehicles near Bobrovy Kut, Zalyony Gai, Ukrainka, Sadok, Novaya Kakhovka, Maksima Gorkogo (Kherson region), Molochansk (Zaporozhye region), Selidovo and Kirillovka (Donetsk People's Republic).
💥 19 projectiles launched by HIMARS and Olkha multiple rocket-launching systems have been destroyed in air near Antonovka bridge (Kherson region), as well as near Svatovo (Lugansk People's Republic) and Novaya Kakhovka (Kherson region).
📊 In total, 302 airplanes and 155 helicopters, 2,087 unmanned aerial vehicles, 377 air defence missile systems, 5,114 tanks and other armoured combat vehicles, 845 combat vehicles equipped with MRLS, 3,417 field artillery cannons and mortars, as well as 5,904 units of special military equipment have been destroyed during the special military operation.
❗️ Kiev regime continues its provocations near Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
◽️ AFU artillery had been shelling at Volna suburban settlement located near the nuclear power plant.
◽️ A total of 25 projectiles have been launched from Kiev-controlled areas of Nikopol and Marganets (Dnepropetrovsk region).

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Situation in the #Lyman Section at 13:00 on 26 Sep 2022⚡️
The threat to the frontline west of #Lyman remains. The AFU has managed to bypass the Allied bridgehead at #Drobyshevo from the north and extend the breakthrough at #Redkodub.
▪️ Attempts to storm #Lyman from the direction of #Ozernoye and #Shchurovo were repulsed by Allied forces.
▪️ AFU units established control over the villages of #Karpovka and #Novoye and expanded the bridgehead north of #Drobyshevo which is still under the control of Russian Forces.
▪️ The Ukrainian command is building up its grouping to expand the bridgehead and reach the #Svatovo-#Borovoye highway. Fierce fighting is taking place north of the village of #Redkodub.
▪️ In the south, Ukrainian Forces are trying to storm the bridgehead of the allied forces in #Drobyshevo - #Shandrigolovo.
From the #Karpovka side, the enemy attempted to break through the Russian Forces' defences towards #Shandrigolovo with two assault squads.
After the loss of four tanks, five BMPs and a large number of personnel in attacks by MLRS, artillery and Russian armoured vehicles on the outskirts of the village, the remnants of the AFU strike groups withdrew towards #Karpovka.
▪️ East of #Redkodub, Ukrainian units are trying to advance towards Zelonaya Dolina to encircle the #Lyman grouping via #Stavka and #Kolodezi.
▪️ An AFU artillery reconnaissance station is deployed in #Prishib. The enemy is conducting counter-battery warfare using HIMARS missiles and Excalibur guided artillery ammunition.
The Russian Command is throwing reserves into the battle to stop the Ukrainian troops and slow their advance in order to buy time, create a solid defensive line and stabilise the situation on the front.
The entire burden of defence now rests on units and formations of the 20th Combined Arms Army and individual units of other formations.

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Battle for #Kherson: Situation in the #Andreevka Sector at 15:00 on 26 Sep 2022⚡️
▪️ AFU engineering units restored the crossings in the area 1.5 km south-west of #Ternovka and Velikoye Artakovo. One BMP and 11 vehicles with various cargoes were brought through them to the #Andreevka area. In the opposite direction, one BMP and 13 vehicles are sent for repair.
▪️ The personnel of the howitzer battery of the 406th Brigade of the AFU arrived in #Bereznegovatoye, stationed southeast of the settlement. Soldiers of the 46th Brigade arrived in #Belogorka after a rotation and a company of the 28th AFU Brigade was transferred to Velykoye Artakovo.
▪️ From the vicinity of #Bereznegovatoye, the use of HIMARS MLRS continues on Novaya Kakhovka.
▪️ Ukrainian formations have a problem with ammunition for both Soviet and Western weapons. Less than half of the missiles previously imported for the US HIMARS launchers are still available. The ammunition is stored in the cities in specially designated depots. Delivery is made by civilian buses or trucks.
There are practically no shells left for the Grad MLRS (two launchers at the site) and the D-30 howitzers. The ammunition supplied from Poland is almost all in an unusable condition due to inadequate storage conditions.
▪️ Russian artillery and MLRS, as well as aviation, continue to shell heavily AFU positions in the "gut" and at the crossing points. Two battalion commanders of an unidentified AFU unit were eliminated in an LMUR strike on a Kirpi BMP.

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Situation in the #Soledar Direction at 17:00 on 26 Sep 2022⚡️
▪️ The Wagner PMCs have entered #Otradovka from the east and cut off the southern side of the settlement from the AFU. In parallel, the storming of an important stronghold on the #Artemovsk-#Mayorsk road west of #Nikolaevka continues.
▪️ In #Zaitsevo, the Wagner units have taken up positions along the entire southern outskirts and advanced deep into the private sector in the south-eastern part of the settlement. Wagner PMC fighters also continue to move from the direction of the Donbass power substation with the aim of subsequently attacking AFU positions in the east of #Zaitsevo in two converging attacks.
▪️ The Wagner units continue to develop their offensive towards the #Soledar-#Bakhmut (#Artemovsk) highway from the southern outskirts of #Bakhmutskoye.
▪️ The successful actions of the Wagner PMCs towards #Soledar are part of a plan to approach #Bakhmut from the south, east and north in order to attack the city from several directions simultaneously. This will avoid unnecessary losses and speed up the liberation of the strategically important settlement.

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Battle for #Kherson: Situation in the Posad-Pokrovskoye Section at 18:00 on 26 Sep 2022⚡️
▪️ Foreign mercenaries have arrived in #Lyubomirovka to reinforce the AFU grouping.
▪️ Engineering units of the 28th AFU Brigade are trying to set up firing positions at night in an area several kilometres west of Ternovye Pody.
Russian UAVs, however, monitor the movements of Ukrainian Forces in this section of the front almost around the clock. Ukrainian militants who try to entrench themselves are immediately taken under artillery fire.
▪️ A "roving" 120 mm mortar crew is operating near #Mirnoye and Posad-Pokrovskoye, firing disturbingly at the staging areas of Russian Forces.
