▪️In the #Berislav sector, the AFU also conducted combat reconnaissance with forces today.
➖ Three mechanized platoons of the 60th Infantry Brigade and a platoon of the 515th Special Forces Battalion, supported by artillery and six SAUs, went on the offensive northeast of #Dudchany village.
➖ During the fighting, the combined units of the AFU managed to break through and gain a foothold in the farmland area 2 kilometres west of #Dudchany.
➖ Almost simultaneously, artillery calculations and SAU crews of the AFU's 60th Separate Infantry Brigade in #Trifonovka and #Petropavlovka shelled Russian positions at #Borozenskoye and south of Novaya Kamenka.
➖ Already laid minefields and active shelling by Russian forces halted the advance of the Ukrainian formations. The combined assault teams are currently entrenched in the occupied areas and demining the terrain.
🩸 The AFU command is now preparing to continue the offensive. A preparatory command briefing was held at the 9th Composite Battalion's Command and Observation Post.
On the morning of 9 November, the combined assault grouping, together with reserves and equipment of the 17th Tank Brigade and 128 Mountain Assault Brigade, will continue the attack towards the southern outskirts of #Dudchany in order to advance further towards #Mylovoye.

▪️ Ukrainian militants attacked the Glushkovskaya power substation from a drone. The power station was not damaged in the incident and there were no casualties.
#Starobelsk Direction (MAP (https://t.me/sitrepmaps/197)):
▪️ In the #Kupyansk frontline sector, units of the 14th Mechanized AFU Brigade have gone on the defensive, losing a large amount of personnel and equipment.
▪️ In the #Svatovo sector, Ukrainian formations from the 1st Battalion of the 92nd Mechanized Brigade and the 128th Territorial Defence Brigade again attempted to storm #Kuzemovka, but were stopped by aviation and artillery fire.
▪️ In the #Lyman sector, the 66th Mechanized Brigade made an unsuccessful attempt to storm the Russian positions in the direction of #Makeevka.
➖ At the same time, units of the AFU's 81th Separate Airmobile Brigade and 25th Airmobile Brigade tried to break through the Russian defence line in the direction of #Kremennaya, but failed and withdrew.
➖ In an artillery duel, the Russian forces succeeded in destroying a radar station, a communications vehicle and several BMPs of the enemy.

▪️ DPR People's Militia units continue their operation to flank the Ukrainian grouping in the #Avdeevka stronghold. Fighting has resumed for #Vodyanoye, #Opytnoye and #Pervomayskoye.
The capture of the settlements will make it possible to expand the security zone around the #Donetsk agglomeration and flank the AFU grouping in #Avdeevka.
▪️ Tense fighting continues in #Maryinka. While MLRS and artillery calculations of Russian troops are engaging targets on the western outskirts of the settlement, assault groups are advancing towards Druzhba Avenue, 200 metres away.
▪️ Ukrainian militants have once again shelled major populated areas of the DPR. Several civilians were killed in the attacks in #Donetsk - including a young girl.
▪️ As a result of the strike on the power substation in #Yasynuvata, a large part of the city was left without electricity and three boiler houses were put out of service. Work is underway to restore power supply.
#Southdonetsk Direction:
▪️ Near #Novomikhailovka, the advance of Russian troops has slowed due to weather conditions. The Ukrainian formations are taking advantage of this and are moving additional reserves into the frontline area.
▪️ Sakhalin warriors acting as part of reconnaissance and assault contours, keep the #Ugledar - #Maryinka road under fire control, cutting off enemy supply routes with fire.
#Dnipropetrovsk Region:
▪️ Russian forces carried out several strikes with the Geran-2 kamikaze drones on AFU facilities in Krivoy Rog. At the same time, Russian troops hit enemy positions in #Marganets, #Ilyinka and #Vyshetarasovka.
#Nikolaev - #Berislav Direction on Southern Front (MAP (https://t.me/sitrepmaps/198)):
▪️ In the #Berislav area, several units of the AFU, supported by artillery, launched an offensive northeast of the village of #Dudchany.
The enemy managed to penetrate deep into Russian territory and entrench itself on a farm near #Dudchany. The AFU command is currently preparing for a further offensive to reach #Mylovoye.
▪️ In the #Snigirovka sector, the enemy, after gathering reserves from #Visunsk and #Bereznegovatoye, managed to entrench on the northern outskirts of the #Snigirovka settlement itself near the railway tracks (unclear if done or only fights for).
Polish and English-speaking mercenaries are involved in the offensive.

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue the special military operation.
In Kupyansk direction, the active actions of Russian troops, artillery fire and air strikes repulsed the attack of the reinforced motorised infantry battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the direction of the settlement of Kuzemovka (Lugansk People's Republic). In total, 60 Ukrainian servicemen were killed, as well as two infantry fighting vehicles, and five pickup trucks.
In Krasny Liman direction, the enemy, with the forces of four motorised infantry and one tank company, reinforced by foreign mercenaries, attempted simultaneous attacks on the positions of Russian troops in the directions of Makeyevka, Ploshchanka, Golikovo, and Kremennaya (Lugansk People's Republic). Artillery units, heavy flamethrower systems, and strikes of army aviation thwarted the enemy's units and pushed them back to the initial lines.
Moreover, preemptive fire damage prevented the attempts of the offensive of two company tactical groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the direction of Chervonopopovka and Stelmakhovka (Lugansk People's Republic).
In Krasny Liman direction, in total, up to 100 Ukrainian troops and mercenaries, one tank, two armored fighting vehicles, a Grad MLRS combat vehicle, and three pickup trucks were destroyed during the day.
In the South Donetsk direction, the enemy attempted to counterattack in order to impede the offensive efforts of Russian troops. By inflicting fire damage and actions of assault groups in the areas of Novomikhailovka, Pavlovka, and Vremevka (Donetsk People's Republic), the AFU units were dispersed and thrown back to their original positions. Over 80 Ukrainian personnel and militants, one tank, six armoured fighting vehicles, and three pickup trucks were eliminated.
In the Nikolayev–Krivoy Rog direction, the AFU forces of up to three company tactical groups made unsuccessful attempts to attack the positions of Russian troops in the direction of Kachkarovka, Pyatikhatki, and Sadok (Kherson region). Following the fire attack, the opposing forces were scattered and fled, having suffered considerable losses. Furthermore, during the day, Russian troops detected and repulsed attempts by twelve AFU's sabotage and reconnaissance groups to break through the rear areas of defence. In total, up to 110 Ukrainian personnel, eight armored fighting vehicles, and 14 vehicles were destroyed in this direction.
Operational-Tactical and Army Aviation, Missile Troops and Artillery engaged two command posts of the AFU and foreign mercenaries in the areas of Novovoskresenskoye (Kherson region) and Zagryzovo (Kharkov region), as well as 59 artillery units in firing positions, manpower and military hardware in 181 areas.
In the area Dnepropetrovsk, an ammunition depot of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with multiple rocket launchers HIMARS, Olkha, as well as artillery ammunition was eliminated.
Fighter Aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces has shot down one Mi-8 helicopter of Ukrainian Air Force near Zaselye (Nikolayev region).
Furthermore, Russian Air Defence destroyed five drones in Kalininskoye (Kherson region), and Dobrolyubovka (Kharkov region).
In addition, 25 HIMARS MLRS were shot down in the areas of Zelenovka, Antonovka, Novokaira, and Novaya Kakhovka (Kherson region), Krasnorechenskoye and Stakhanov (Lugansk People's Republic), two Olkha projectiles in the area of the settlement of Korsunka, as well as three HARM anti-radiation missiles in the area of Novaya Kakhovka (Kherson region).

▪️ Confirmations have surfaced on the net that bridges on the troops' escape routes have been undermined. Russian engineers are disabling communication lines to slow the enemy's advance.
#Nikolaev Sector:
▪️ There are unconfirmed reports of Russian units withdrawing from Ternovye Pody, #Pravdino and #Aleksandrovka.
#Snigirovka Sector:
▪️ AFU formations, supported by artillery and army aviation. resumed their assault on the populated area in the morning and moved additional reserves.
▪️ Soldiers of the 205th Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces continue to hold positions in #Snigirovka. During the fighting for the town, Russian fighters destroyed more than a dozen armored combat vehicles and a Russian Airborne Forces' MANPADS calculation shot down a Mi-8 helicopter that was trying to evacuate wounded to #Nikolaev.
#Berislav Sector:
▪️ At 06:00 on 9 November, combined assault groups of the 60th Separate Infantry Brigade, 128th Mountain Assault Brigade, reinforced by armoured vehicles of the 17th Tank Brigade of the AFU resumed their offensive on the #Polyanka - #Dudchany line.
➖ The 60th Infantry Brigade's self-propelled artillery battery is providing fire support to the AFU assault group from the position area north of the village of Dudchany.
➖ The AFU was able to gain a foothold southwest of the village, but mines and counterattacks by Russian forces prevented further success. One of the companies of the 17th Tank Brigade refused engage in combat. Ukrainian deminers are now clearing the area.
➖ North of Dudchany, the second echelon of the AFU is being formed, led by the 9th Composite Battalion of the Territorial Defence, and the creation of fortifications is underway.

Today, the very “difficult decision” that was announced two weeks ago was made. Regardless of the reasons for the withdrawal of troops from the right bank of the Dnieper, leaving the place of Russian naval glory and simply the native Russian city responds with pain in our hearts. However, if you look at the situation a little distantly, it is worth noting such moments.
First, the abandonment of the right bank was predetermined by several events:
1) refusal to conduct mobilization after the initial failures in the plans of the SMO
2) The destruction of strategic bridges across the Dnieper and Ingulets. The enemy over a long time, methodically destroyed our logistics. The air defense forces fought selflessly, but a three-month methodical impact on bridges, ferries, pontoons and piers could not fail to produce results;
3) the absence of a second bridgehead, to the north of Kherson or to the west (in the region of Odessa or Nikolaev), for the possibility of developing our offensive.
All this, multiplied by the risk of undermining the dam of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station, led to the fact that our group on the right bank was under the threat of destruction.
Second: we pay tribute to the courage of General Surovikin, who made a difficult decision. The tragedy of the situation is comparable to Barclay's decision to leave Smolensk, but then the Russian Scot decided to save the army and buy time. We hope that in terms of endurance and military wisdom, Surovikin will not lag behind the glorious hero of the Patriotic War.
It is worth adding that the Armed Forces of Ukraine, having already carried out several waves of mobilization, concentrated up to 350 thousand manpower, 2 thousand armored vehicles, and Western MLRS in the Nikolaev-Kryvyi Rih direction. We, on the other hand, found ourselves in a classic situation: we cannot supply a significantly large grouping on the right bank due to the lack of bridges, and the smaller one simply cannot withstand the blow.
Third, thanks to the supplies from the West and actual direct control by NATO officers, the enemy(Ukraine) still has a decisive advantage in reconnaissance, communications and command and control. Yes, they react faster and more flexibly. Most likely, we will not be able to completely surpass them in this. But it was the same in the Great Patriotic War. Somewhere we raised this issue, somewhere we compensated with other advantages of our army: the steadfastness of a soldier, ingenuity, mobilization of the whole country for victory!
So, the withdrawal to the left bank is justified for military reasons. It will make it possible to preserve the army, take up an advantageous position on the defensive, and give us a chance to move the decisive battle to a more advantageous position for us. We are sure that General Surovikin is now thinking not about giving battle in a specific city or near a specific river, but about winning the war as a whole.

A very difficult and dramatic day - due to difficulties in supplying our troops in Kherson region, we made the difficult decision to leave the right bank of the Dnieper and set up the defense line on the left bank. Emotions are stifling almost everyone - until the last moment there was a hope that this would not happen. But the fact is that militarily it was a real reason, and politically it is a major defeat. Kherson is a documented Russian city, we have lost the capital of a new region.
On the same day, Kherson region lost its deputy governor, Kyrylo Stremousov, in a car crash, whose death shocked many who knew him. We will have to live through this day too, for the sake of future victory and the return of the flag to the Russian city of Kherson.
⚔️The situation on the fronts in the passing day:
⚫️ Svatovo-Kreminna direction
The Ukrainian Armed Forces once again try to break through to Kuzemivka (LNR), but Russian aviation and artillery successfully repulsed the attack. Also, the Ukrainian militants rushed to Makiivka, Ploshchanka, Golikovo and Kreminna. But our soldiers successfully tackled this offensive as well.
⚫️Ugledar direction
The Ukrainian armed forces are trying to put sticks in the wheels of the advancing Russian troops, trying to counterattack in the area of Novomikhailovka, Pavlovka and Vremevka. But the competent interaction of Russian troops with artillery brought its results - the enemy was stopped and dispersed.
⚫️ Kherson direction
According to some sources Russian troops leave their positions in the area of Pravdino, Posad-Pokrovskoe and other settlements, undermining the bridges over Ingulets behind them. The abandonment of Kherson was announced by General Surovikin, based on a meeting with Shoigu.

Situation near Kherson: The view through the eyes of Ukrainian military analysts
▪️Russian command today withdrew from Kherson a number of units from the 76th Airborne Assault Division, 106th Airborne Division and the 22nd Army Corps (Crimea). The nature of the RF Armed Forces' actions suggests that a systematic retreat from the Kherson bridgehead is under way, relying on several defensive lines to retreat from line to line while maintaining combat order and control.
▪️The retreat of Russian troops will take a few days but will not be quick - there are several thousand pieces of combat equipment and weapons on the right bank.
▪️ The aim is to keep the troops combat-ready.
▪️This is why the front line has been heavily mined, cover units deployed.
▪️The Russian command intends to preserve the maximum amount of military equipment and prevent the bridgehead from collapsing under the attacks of the Ukrainian armed forces, which would result in heavy losses and loss of combat effectiveness of the best Russian units.
▪️The Russian airborne troops—combat groups of all 4 divisions and all 4 airborne brigades, units of the 22nd Army Corps and the 49th Combined Arms Army—are concentrated on the Kherson bridgehead.
