Summary as of the night of 10-11 September from Igor Strelkov.
The Kharkov front:
Yesterday, starting in the afternoon and all night there was a hasty withdrawal of our troops from the bridgehead on the western bank of the Seversky Donets south of Izyum.
Our withdrawal was covered by rearguard units of the DNR Armed Forces and Russian volunteer units, which, supported by artillery, fought hard in an operational encirclement near Suligovka and Brazhkovka and for the dominant height south of Malaya Kamyshevakha.
As of the evening and night - the northern part of Izyum was occupied by the enemy, the southern part was held by the RF Armed Forces. [GB: What a reversal. Several month ago, it took Russia nearly a month to burn the Ukrainian Nazis out of the industrial sector on the southern peninsula of Izyum across the Donets river. Let’s see how the Nazis handle this task. I betcha not very well.]
The enemy failed to cut off the main forces of our grouping (except for individual units)…
