⚡️ (https://t.me/rybar/40625)🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ #Chronicle of Strikes and Mutual Fire in the #SMO Zone Overnight from 26 to 27 Oct 2022⚡️
▪️ An Ukrainian UAV dropped a mine on the #Balaklava thermal power plant in Sevastopol. The inoperable transformer was damaged. The station is operating without any interruptions.
▪️ The Russian Geran-2 UAV struck the #Kiev region. Locals heard the sound of the drone flying over in the Belotserkovsky district.
▪️ In #Kharkov Region, the Russian forces have worked on targets in the border villages of #Chugunovka, #Strelechya and #Staritsa.
▪️ In the #Starobelsk direction, Russian Forces hit AFU positions in #Kupyansk, #Dvurechnaya, as well as #Kislovka and #Kotlyarovka.
In addition, Russian artillery fired on enemy positions along the entire contact line near the #Zherebets River, including #Terny, #Yampolovka, #Zarechnoye and #Torskoye.
▪️ At least six missile strikes were carried out by the Russian Forces at the brick factory and #Stankostroy in #Kramatorsk.
▪️ In the #Bakhmut (#Artemovsk) direction, Russian missile forces and artillery hit accumulations of enemy manpower and equipment in #Bakhmut, #Soledar, #Mayorsk, #Yakovlevka and #Ozeryanovka.
▪️ In the #Donetsk direction, Russian Forces engaged targets in #Druzhkovka, #Avdeevka, #Maryinka, #Krasnogorovka and #Pervomayskoye.
The enemy, on its part, shelled an oil depot in #Shakhtyorsk. In addition, the AFU again shelled towns in #Donetsk agglomeration.
▪️ Overnight, Russian forces carried out several strikes on AFU facilities in the Kommunarsk district of #Zaporozhye, as well as a military facility in #Balabino.
▪️ In #Dnipropetrovsk region, Russian Forces struck #Pavlograd, which is one of Ukraine's largest railway hubs. A facility where solid rocket fuel and explosives were produced was destroyed.
▪️ In the southern section of the front, artillery duels continue along the entire line of contact.
In the evening, Russian air defence was triggered in #Ochakov.
▪️ Late in the evening, Russian Forces using a Geran-2 UAV hit a target in the Ovidopolsky district of the #Odessa region.

🔎 The Rybar Team continues a systematic analysis of the consequences of fire strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure. The extreme (hopefully not the last) strike was carried out by the Russian Armed Forces on Saturday 22 October.
💥 The following facilities were hit by fire that day:
▪️ Target #1 - cutting off the Rivne NPP from the 330kV power grid
➖ Rivne 330 substation, 330/110/35/10 kV
➖ Substation Lutsk-Severnaya, voltage 330/220/110/10/6 kV
➖ Substation Kovel 330, voltage 330/220/110/35 kV
➖ TS Khmelnitskaya 330, voltage 330/110/10 kV
➖ Substation Shepetovka 330, voltage 330/110/35kV - at least 330/110kV autotransformer was affected.
▪️ Target #2 - impact on the Odessa power district and create an electricity deficit in the Odessa area.
➖ Pobuzhskaya 330 substation, 330/110/35/10 kV
➖ Substation Kvartsit 330, voltage 330/150/35 kV
➖ TS Polyana 330, voltage 330/110/10kV - presumably
➖ TS Trikhaty 330, 330/220/150/35/10kV - presumably

🩸 Interim Conclusions:
After the large-scale strikes against Ukrainian power plants on Saturday, electricity supply was restored everywhere by Wednesday, albeit with rather severe restrictions.
▪️ The main strikes took place in the centre and west of the country, where the restrictions on electricity consumption were the greatest.
▪️ In Kharkov, for example, the underground escalators could be put into operation because the deficit caused by the shocks was not so large.
▪️ However, it would be fundamentally wrong to claim that the strikes have passed without a trace and that their consequences have been completely overcome.
It is now clear that the shocks once again targeted autotransformers with 330 kV high voltage. Such shocks do not completely cripple the substations themselves, but they do cause considerable difficulties in supplying power to the areas near the substations.
▪️ The transfer of power to the remaining autotransformers leads to their overload during peak loads and emergencies. This leads to the triggering of automatic emergency power systems and repeated disconnections of consumers.
This may explain the numerous complaints from consumers that rolling blackout plans are not being adhered to and there is no power even though it should be there according to the plan.
▪️ To be fair, the Ukrainian energy sector is doing everything in its power to stabilise the situation, and the rolling blackouts are designed to even out consumption peaks in the morning and evening. But it is already clear that this is clearly not enough.
🚨 We are under no illusion that the Ukrainian people and the Ukrainian authorities will appreciate the humanism of the Russian authorities in choosing targets for the attacks. We are and remain enemies for them.
Therefore, the attacks, if they take place, must be carried out with maximum efficiency, taking out not the power conversion plants but the substations (SCPs).
Only by attacking them can a substation be completely knocked out without destroying the high-voltage equipment.
Otherwise, the effect, as we are doing now, would take too long.

🔻On the Nikolaevsko-Berislavsko section, the AFU artillery units carried out indiscriminate shelling of the areas of Zelenoye Gaya, Terny Pod, Kiselevka, and Petrovskoye.
▪️A mortar battery of the 3rd battalion of the 28th mechanized brigade of the AFU has been deployed in the vicinity of Verkhnee Khablovskoye lighthouse and is shelling AFU positions in Aleksandrovka.
🔻The Andreevsky section of the AFU has moved a company of the 3rd battalion of the 46th Aeromobile Brigade to a stronghold 4km southeast of Davydov Brod.
▪️In the past 24 hours, 32 pieces of military equipment were transferred to the left bank of the Ingulets River through the crossings in Ternovka and Bolshoi Artakovo, and 27 pieces in the opposite direction.
🔻A meeting of tactical commanders was held at the command and observation post of the 96th Battalion of the 60th Infantry Brigade of the AFU in Novonikolayivka to discuss plans for further action in the Beryslav area.
▪️ UAV reconnaissance missions of the 97th battalion of the 60th Infantry Brigade conduct reconnaissance of Russian Federation positions at the Pyatikhatka-Polyanka line.
▪️ A platoon of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' defense troops has been deployed to reinforce the positions of the 9th Composite Battalion in Chervonyi and Novoaleksandrivka. And three companies of the 129th obr TRO have arrived in Zolotaya Balka.
▪️The 15th battalion of the 128th Mountain Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian armed forces was withdrawn from the area north of Dudchany due to heavy losses to the firing range in Apostolovo. The units of the 128 Ogsh brigade will be manned by mobilized personnel and sent to be trained, which will last two to three weeks.
▪️ A Ukrainian AN/TPQ-50 radar station has been deployed near Novaya Kamianka to conduct counter-battery warfare and uncover Russian artillery firing positions.

The Ukrainian leadership assesses a possible Belarusian offensive as serious.
▪️ In order to uncover the plans and movements of Russian troops, Ukrainian units of the TsIPsO (Centre for Information and Psychological Operations) are searching for Belarusian citizens who are dissatisfied with the presence of Russian Forces.
▪️ In the locality of #Derevnaya, one of the pro-Ukrainian citizens uses a satellite phone to report on the movements of Russian and Belarusian troops.
#Volyn Sector:
▪️ The AFU command moved two battalions to the Volyn Joint Force Grouping.
▪️ AFU personnel trained at the 184th training centre in #Starichi, including one battalion from the newly formed 67th Mechanized Brigade, will arrive in the Volyn region to reinforce the areas bordering #Belarus.
▪️ A company control post of the AFU's 1st Radio Technical Brigade has been established near #Lukov to monitor the air situation and launched missiles from the Belarusian territory.
#Kiev Sector:
▪️ The AFU command activates two reconnaissance groups in order to monitor the activity of the Belarusian Forces, one in the Rudnya-Ilyinetskaya area and the other near Kriva Gora.
▪️ Mobilised citizens are trained to work on artillery systems at a military training range near #Kiev.
#Chernigov Sector:
The AFU continues preparations for a possible offensive from #Belarus.
▪️ Reconnaissance units led by British mercenaries are being trained at the #Desna training centre.
▪️ At least two battalions of the Territorial Defence Forces have been moved to the areas of the #Bleshnya and #Mkhi settlements. The exercises are taking place from 25 to 29 October at military raining ranges in the area.
