⚡️ (https://t.me/sitrepmaps/154)🇷🇺🇮🇷🎯 @Rybar about Iranian Kamikaze Drones⚡️
We recently wrote, see 👉 "HERE (https://t.me/sitreports/466)", about the planned shipment of ballistic missiles to Russia. Now the Western media reports that the Russian Arash-2 and Meraj-521 bomber munitions may also be received by the Russian Armed Forces.
According to media reports, Russia is interested in two more types of UAVs: "Arash-2" and "Meraj-521".
▪️"Arash-2"
This type is a relatively new Iranian development. Compared to the Shahed-136, they have a more powerful warhead and a claimed range of up to 1,700 km.
The drone is a long-range precision-guided weapon that can be launched from both land and sea platforms.
Newer models have infrared or optical homing heads. This allows the drone to stay in a given area to find and destroy the target.
At the exercises of the IRGC and the Iranian Army, the Arash has been used effectively as an anti-radar munition, which will be relevant for suppressing Ukrainian air defences.
▪️"Meraj-521"
This is the latest example of a small-sized UAV designed to engage personnel and light equipment.
It was first tested by the IRGC's Ground Forces Quick Reaction Force during a recent exercise (https://t.me/rybar/40656) near the Azerbayjan border.
The drone is the counterpart to the US Switchblade 300. It is launched by mortar from a pneumatic catapult.
Low weight and dimensions allow carrying the drone in a rucksack. The flight range is 5 km, autonomy 15 minutes.
🩸 There has been no real confirmation of the Arash and Meraj being sent to Russia so far. However, it would look logical against the backdrop of an expanding range of Iranian arms supplies to the Russian Armed Forces.
Moreover, both sides are interested in such cooperation: the Russian army improves its combat capabilities, while the Islamic Republic gets an ideal test range to confirm the performance of its missiles and UAVs against Western-made weapons.

⚡️ (https://t.me/rybar/40840)🇷🇺🇺🇦💥 A strike on a High Precision Weapons Production Facility in #Kharkov⚡️
The Military Chronicle channel reported (https://t.me/milchronicles/1270) that at midnight Russian troops struck the workshops of the Kommunar plant, where HIMARS rocket launchers were produced.
🔎 The @Rybar team managed to geolocate the building targeted by the Russian troops and confirm the information of Military Chronicle.
🔻 This is the former Tesla factory, which produced electric cars during peacetime.
▪️ With the outbreak of hostilities, the normal functioning of the plant has been suspended, staff removed and production facilities adapted to the needs of the Ukrainian military industry.
▪️ The three-storey building, over 100 metres long, was used to produce a wide range of control boards and circuits for communications equipment, missiles, anti-aircraft missiles and rockets.
▪️ On 25 October, we wrote (https://t.me/rybar/40573) that the first batch of modified R-29 missiles and rockets had been delivered to the Ukrainian army, which, with the help of US specialists, managed to bring the accuracy of the HIMARS to an "artisanal" level.
Subsequently, the same base began to produce components for the GLMRS themselves.
🩸 According to our information, over the past months, the production facilities in the Tesla building became the main centre for the manufacture of electronic components and control units for missiles and rockets.
Because of the general convenience of the Kommunar location, US handlers made a big bet on adapting the available high-tech equipment for production of high-precision weapons. Necessary documentation was supplied, equipment delivered and personnel trained.
Acceptance of production and handing over to the troops was carried out every Friday.
So far it is difficult to assess the extent of the destruction of the workshops but we can say with certainty that if the shelling proves to be effective then the production capacity of the AFU to produce precision weapons and ammunition will be significantly reduced.
Workshop coordinates: 50.033917, 36.283450

⚡️ (https://t.me/sitrepmaps/160)🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ #Starobelsk Direction: Situation until 16:00 on 3 Nov 2022⚡️
#Tavolzhanka Sector:
▪️ The command of the 14th Mechanized AFU Brigade is preparing for an offensive. It has moved reinforcements across the pontoon at #Dvurechnaya and the boat crossing in #Masyutovka to reinforce the assault group.
#Kupyansk Sector:
▪️ Units of the 14th Mechanized Brigade are preparing for a new attempt to storm the Russian strongholds near #Yagodnoye. Additional AFU units have arrived nearby to the west of the village and an UAV is operating along the frontline.
▪️ At the same time, the enemy command is considering the option of a counterattack by Russian forces from the direction of #Gorobyevka. On the #Kupyansk - #Petropavlovka line, the 32nd Territorial Defence Brigade of the AFU is building strongholds.
#Svatovo Sector:
▪️ Combined artillery units of the 25th Airmobile Brigade, the 103rd and 128th AFU Territorial Defence Brigades shelled #Rozovka. The Russian forces retaliated fire and hit the advance post of the 2nd Battalion of the 25th Airmobile Brigade.
▪️ The tactical commanders of the 92nd Mechanized Brigade, the 25th Airmobile Brigade and the 128th Territorial Defence Brigade will meet shortly at the command and observation post of the 92nd Brigade to plan further actions at the site.
#Lyman Sector:
▪️ There has been no significant changes in the situation. Mutual artillery strikes are taking place along the line of contact.
▪️ Units of the 66th Mechanized AFU Brigade are establishing fire positions west of #Makeevka. The command of the Operation Task Group Lyman expects Russian reconnaissance and sabotage groups to penetrate the AFU's rear.

Regarding the effectiveness of Russian military strikes on Ukraine's infrastructure
The incoming information indicates that Kiev officials are taking measures to systematically misinform the Russian side about the true effectiveness of the strikes on Ukraine's power generation facilities.
According to information received from a number of sources (residing in Kiev), as of the 3rd of November 2022, the main power capacities in the city of Kiev have been restored. Tasks have been set to primarily provide electricity to permanent (and temporary) deployment points and reserve command posts of military units, as well as the infrastructure supporting them. Government institutions were identified as the next priority. There was no discussion about the supply of the population; the residents of Kiev will be supplied on a surplus basis.
Against the backdrop of a tightened counter-intelligence regime and effective enforcement of regulations banning the photographing and filming of facilities affected by the Russian Armed Forces, the enemy has further developed demonstration actions. In particular, officials and public opinion leaders have reversed the rhetoric about the "inefficiency" of Russian strikes. Talking points with exaggerated percentages of destroyed power generation capacity are being replicated, footage of Kiev's (unnecessarily) de-energized residential areas is being shown, and a series of shows about how civilians can survive is being launched in the media and the blog sphere.
Additionally, such actions are intended to encourage Western countries to increase humanitarian aid, including equipment and spare units to repair knocked-out substations. These goals are already being achieved by Ukraine: new transformers are being delivered through Poland under the guise of delivering aid and humanitarian supplies to supply the Kiev region, the scale of supplies allows for a reserve for future repairs while the Russian Armed Forces continue un-concentrated strikes on a few targets.
According to the sources' estimates, the Russian Armed Forces would be able to achieve disruption of power supply to priority facilities for the Ukrainian military and political leadership in Kyiv and the region with concentrated strikes on specific facilities to ensure that each complex is irreparable as a whole. With respect to the Kiev region, we believe the priority targets are CHPP-5 (700 MW) and CHPP-6 (600 MW), to which the Ukrainian side is putting the greatest amount of effort to repair.
