❗️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Situation on the Nikolaevsko-Krivoy Rog direction as of 11.00 on July 4, 2022 by @rybar:

▪️ In the Nikolaevsko-Krivorozhskoe direction, the AFU attempted an offensive at the Snigirevka - Lozovoye - Belaya Krynitsa line, as well as at Kirovo - Posad-Pokrovskoye.

▪️ Prior to this, units of the 63rd and 35th corps conducted mine clearance in the Lozovoye - Belaya Krynitsa direction.

▪️ At least three subversive and reconnaissance groups were sent to the area of the grey zone in the vicinity of Snigirevka. Several Stinger man-portable air defence systems were used to cover the DRGs.

▪️ The reserve forces of the Reserve Corps and 241 Brigade of the Tetra Defence Brigade were on standby, ready to engage and support the offensive.

▪️ A few hours before the offensive, there was shelling of Aleksandrovka, Shirokaya Balka, Kiselevka, Lozovaya, Ishchenko, Belogorka, Lubimovka, Kreschenovka, Davydov Brod, Vysokopolya.

▪️ Russian units, having uncovered the Ukrainian side's plan, launched massive strikes against the AFU's areas of concentration in Kirovo, Shevchenkovo, Olenivka, Mirny, Novoalexandrovka, Bereznogovatom and Shiroky.

▪️ Fighting took place in the vicinity of Novohrigorovka and at the Lozovoye - Belaya Krynitsa border. Two Bayraktar UAVs from Kanatovo airfield monitored the situation.

🔻 In the past 24 hours, units of the Ukrainian armed forces again attempted an offensive. However, just as in the case of the attack on Ivanovka, Ukrainian forces are trying to gain a foothold in the gray zone and present it as a victory.

Such aspirations of the AFU are related to the desire to demonstrate success in other directions due to the loss of the LNR. For this reason, the Ukrainian forces are attacking with limited forces on positions that mean nothing in terms of strategy, wasting enormous resources.

This is the main reason for bellicose statements by Ukrainian government officials and pro-Ukrainian Telegram channels about the front approaching Kherson, which does not correspond to reality. However, the Ukrainian command will try to compensate for the losses in the Donbass with important information, so the Ukrainian Armed Forces should be expected to continue the offensive in different parts of the front in search of the weakest places.
