❗️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Donbass offensive: the situation in eastern Ukraine as the end of July 25, 2022 by @rybar:
▪️ There are no significant changes in the front line in the Kharkov direction. The AFU is accumulating forces and resources for the long-term defense of Kharkov...
▪️Battles and artillery duels are taking place on the outskirts of Seversk, for heights south of Serebryanka.
▪️ In the Soledar direction, Allied forces are fighting on the approaches to Bakhmut:
➖The most intense fighting is taking place in the vicinity of Pokrovskoye: after capturing the southern outskirts of the settlement, the Wagner PMC assault squads continue to break the defenses inside the settlement itself. The capture of Pokrovskoye will make it possible to reach the eastern outskirts of Bakhmut (Artemivsk) and begin to storm one of the key links in the AFU defense in this section of the front.
➖ To the north of Pokrovskoye, from the direction of Vladimirovka, Bakhmutskoye is being stormed - it is the "gateway" to Soledar.
➖Ukrainian artillery is firing a barrage in the area of Berestovoye, Belogorovka and Yakovlevka.
▪️ The situation near the Uglegorsk thermal power plant:
➖Uglegorsk TPP still remains under the control of the AFU. The command left the rank-and-file personnel and left the area of the power plant. On the previous day, key strongholds around the plant were taken, leaving the Ukrainian Armed Forces with the last escape route to Semigorie.
➖Simultaneously with the escape from the Uglegorskaya TPP, units of the 72nd brigade retreated from Novoluganskoye to Semigorie. Units of the Allied Forces entered Novoluganskoye, the assault and mopping-up continues.
➖ The AFU command deploys army and tactical aviation along the entire Novoluganske - Bakhmut route to cover the retreat of its forces.
▪️ Ukrainian artillery continues shelling Donetsk, Gorlovka and other settlements in the agglomeration.
▪️ In Zaporizhzhia region, the Russian Armed Forces hit AFU positions in the village of Yulievka, as well as in Novoalexandrovka, located in close proximity to military unit 22051 "Bliznets" on Orekhovskaya highway.
▪️ On the Krivoy Rog direction, the AFU is trying to extend its success near Potemkino and continue its offensive against the RF Armed Forces' positions in the Kherson region.

❗️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Highlights of Russian Military Operation in Ukraine on July 25, 2022
▪️ Ukrainian formations shelled the village of Alekseevka in Glushkovsky district, Kursk Region, Russia. No casualties reported as a result of the incident.
▪️ Russian Armed Forces hit AFU servicemen positions in Yastrubyne, Hrabovs'ke and Volodymyrivka in Sumy Region.
▪️ Russian artillery struck enemy deployment points in Kharkiv. Territorial Defence Forces’ garrison was destroyed in the local Officers' House in Bashyrivka.
▪️ Near Borshchova Russian special units conducted a raid on enemy positions and eliminated several servicemen.
▪️ Ukrainian tactical aviation continues flights from the airfield in Myrhorod. At least three Su-24/25 aircrafts are on patrol every day.
▪️ The most intense fighting is taking place in the vicinity of Pokrovs'ke. Having liberated the southern outskirts, Wagner PMC’s assault units continue to break down the defence lines inside the village.
▪️ Bakhmuts'ke is being stormed to the north of Pokrovs'ke from Volodymyrivka direction. This settlement is the gateway to Soledar.
▪️ Vuhlehirsʹka TES is still under AFU control. The command abandoned the rank-and-file personnel and left the area of the power plant.
▪️ Allied Forces´ units entered Novoluhans'ke. The assault and mopping up continues. The advance of Russian troops is complicated by mines on the main routes.
▪️ Ukrainian formations are continuously shelling DPR and LPR territories. Civilians were killed in Horlivka and Yehorivka
▪️ AFU Command continues to accumulate forces for an offensive in Mykolaiv-Kriviy Rih direction. AFU’s 60th Separate Infantry Brigade is being remanned near Osokorіvka.
▪️ Preparing for an offensive AFU are firing at Russian Armed Forces’ positions on the line of contact.
▪️ During the day, Russian troops launched a missile strike on AFU facility in Kyiv Region.

Ukraine has received another delivery of heavy weapons from Germany, says Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht (SPD). In addition to additional self-propelled howitzers, the delivery is said to involve Mars II multiple rocket launchers. Plans are already underway to deliver other systems as well.
Ukraine has received more heavy weapons from Germany for its defense against the Russian war of aggression. "The promised Mars II multiple rocket launchers and another three self-propelled howitzers 2000 have been delivered. We keep our word," Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht (SPD) said on Tuesday. On Monday, her Ukrainian counterpart had reported that the first three Gepard anti-aircraft tanks had arrived from Germany. Several tens of thousands of rounds of ammunition had also been handed over.
Lambrecht spoke of five Gepard anti-aircraft gun tanks delivered in the meantime. In total, Ukraine will receive 30 Gepard systems from the industry with about 60,000 rounds of ammunition, mainly from the Bundeswehr, he said. Also from Bundeswehr stocks are the three Mars II multiple rocket launchers and the ten self-propelled howitzers 2000.
The medium artillery rocket system (Mars) can fire missiles with different effects, such as guided rockets with GPS systems or mine ejection rockets for blocking off sections of terrain. The launch batteries with a combat load of twelve missiles are mounted on tracked vehicles that can travel at speeds of up to 50 kilometers per hour.
An artillery tracking radar of the Cobra type will also be delivered by the industry as a supplement to these weapon systems before the end of September, Lambrecht explained. "The contract has already been signed, and now the training of Ukrainian soldiers on this highly complex system will begin." It still needs to be finally prepared for delivery by the industry, he said. "It will enable our artillery systems to act even faster and more precisely," the minister promised.
He also said that training on the promised Iris-T SLM air defense missile system should begin in a few days. The manufacturing company will be able to deliver "brand new" to Ukraine in the fall, he said.
The Gepard tanks were the second delivery of heavy weapons from Germany to the war zone a good five months after the Russian attack on Ukraine. In June, seven self-propelled howitzers had already arrived there, heavy artillery pieces that can hit targets 40 kilometers away. In addition to the delivery of three multiple rocket launchers, three self-propelled howitzers and the Iris-T air defense system, three armored recovery vehicles had been announced.
