❗️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Highlights of Russian Military Operation in Ukraine on January 31
▪️Ukrainian formations have once again shelled Lomakovka in Bryansk Region.
The shelling disrupted the electricity supply in the settlement, but casualties and serious damage were avoided.
▪️In Lyman sector, the front line is frozen in fact. Artillery duels continue along the entire line of contact between the sides.
In the "grey zone" on both sides, sabotage and reconnaissance groups are operating to uncover enemy positions.
▪️During the day, the enemy launched at least seven strikes using HIMARS multiple rocket launchers at Kreminna in the Lyman sector.
Three civilians were killed under Ukrainian shelling and several others were injured.
▪️On the south-eastern outskirts of Bakhmut, Wagner's PMC assault units are fighting near the local meat processing plant and the Zabakhmutivka residential area.
The enemy continues to hold the town with all its might, preventing further advancement of Russian forces.
▪️Fierce fighting between units of the Russian Airborne Troops and Ukrainian formations continues in Paraskoviivka and Krasna Hora.
After the liberation of Blahodatne, Wagner's PMC fighters are advancing towards the two settlements from the north, increasing pressure on the enemy grouping.
▪️Heavy fighting continues near Vuhledar, where Pacific Fleet marines are selflessly holding back AFU's counterattacks.

🔻There were no significant changes in the Ugledar region over the past day. Due to bad weather conditions, the active offensive was suspended, positional battles are underway. Ukrainian formations carry out remote mining of the outskirts and approaches to the city.
▪️At the same time, units of the 72nd brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine suffered huge losses. Partially, the personnel was withdrawn to the Elizavetovka area. On the night of January 31 to February 1, towed guns were withdrawn from the vicinity of Ugledar to new firing positions.
The commander of one of the battalions of the 72nd mechanized brigade was missing. According to the interception of negotiations between members of the Ukrainian formations, 200 bodies of those killed during the fighting in the Donetsk direction were delivered to Gaisin in the Vinnitsa region.
▪️To strengthen the grouping, the forces of the 35th detachment of the Ukrainian Navy were deployed to Vuhledar, which took up all-round defense. In addition, one of the units of the 80th Airborne Assault Brigade of the Airborne Forces of Ukraine arrived from the Limansky sector.
▪️In the near future, the transfer of the battalion-tactical group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from Bogatyr to the site is expected, part of which is planned to be used to defend transport hubs.

📌 Successes of PMC "Wagner" in the Bakhmut and Soledar directions
▪️North of Soledar:
Units of the Wagner PMC are advancing towards Nikolaevka and Razdolovka from several directions. There are fierce battles in n. Sacco and Vanzetti.
▪️Bakhmut:
The musicians are fighting fierce battles in the south of the village of Paraskovievka and in the north of the village of Krasnaya Gora - the northern suburbs of Bakhmut. Reports of the liberation of these settlements turned out to be premature.
Under the control of PMC "Wagner" is a large part of the area "Meat Processing Plant" in the north-east of Bakhmut. The line of contact passes in the area of Alabastrova Street.
In the southeast, fighting is going on in the area of Garshin Street, the musicians' units have taken possession of the first buildings in the complex of houses between Vatutina Lane and Nekrasov Street.
The fighters of PMC "Wagner" expanded the zone of control in the south of Bakhmut from the side of Experienced.
▪️South of Bakhmut:
Developing the offensive from Kleshcheevka, the Orchestra is moving towards the Bakhmut-Konstantinovka highway, one of the supply lines for the local grouping of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In parallel with this, there is an advance towards the village of Krasnoye (Ivanovskoye) and the southwestern regions of Bakhmut.
It is premature to talk about the operational environment, since the Armed Forces of Ukraine still have routes to Chasov Yar, Slavyansk, as well as an extensive network of field roads, which used to be used by agricultural machinery.
