Russian troops continue their gradual advance deep into the Ukrainian fortified areas in the Bakhmut and Soledar sectors.
🔻In the Bakhmut (Artemovsk) sector, in the interests of holding the defense in Bakhmut and Opytnoye, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine transferred an assault unit to Bakhmut, and also partially rotated personnel.
▪️Combined shock detachments of the 53rd OMB attempted a counterattack in the area of Opytnoye, and the forces of the 5th separate assault regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine - in the direction of Mayorsk. Both attacks were repulsed, and in the Experimental Armed Forces they fled from several strongholds.
▪️In addition to 67 soldiers of the 16th battalion of the 58th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from Orekhov, from the Zaporozhye direction in the vicinity of Bakhmut, it is planned to send forces and equipment of the 1st battalion of the 65th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
▪️Artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine conducts barrage fire on Ivangrad, Opytny, Kurdyumovka. The RF Armed Forces hit positions in Bakhmut and Soledar with return fire.
As a result of the defeat of the Ukrainian stronghold in Toretsk (Dzerzhinsk), five people were liquidated. Another 11 were wounded, they were evacuated to Druzhkovka.
▪️Engineering units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are conducting reconnaissance of the area in the Kleshcheevka area as part of the preparation of the second line of defense after the loss of Kurdyumovka.
🔻 Positional battles continue in the Soledar direction in the vicinity of Disputed. The Armed Forces of Ukraine sent 19 people to maintain the defense of the village.
