⚡️ Double failure of Ukrainian paratroopers near Svatove and Kremenna: top story
On the night of November 4, units of the 25th and 80th AFU Airborne Brigades made an attempt to break through to positions of the Russian Armed Forces located 7km northeast of the settlement of Terny and near Kuzemivka in the Kupyansk direction.
According to the AFU radio intercepts, both brigades received similar orders.
The 25th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade of the AFU was to reach the R-66 route connecting Svatovo (LNR) in the north and Kreminna in the south, while the 80th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade was instructed to break the first echelon of the RF Armed Forces defence and take under fire control the section of the R-07 route.
Units of the 25th Brigade of the AFU were unable to reach the anticipated breakthrough location: in the morning of November 4, after the detection of infantry and international MaxxPro armoured vehicles by the Orlan-30 drone, the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were attacked with Russia's 300 mm Smerch rocket systems .
Units of the 80th Brigade were left without military communications due to the operation of Russian REB complexes and contacted the command via open channels 15 km northwest of Svatov. The contact of the AFU paratroopers was detected by the Shipovnik-AERO REB complex, after which the 80th Brigade's positions were hit by Giatsint-B guns.
It is noteworthy that both company groups of the Ukrainian Airborne Troops were sent on the raid without fire support: the 66th separate mechanised brigade of the AFU, which was covering the 25th brigade, had lost 80 percent of its T-64B and T-72B battle tanks as well as a significant amount of artillery.
The 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the AFU, previously engaged in attacks north of Svatov, has lost 70% of its serviceable tanks and currently has only M113 and YPR-765 light APCs.
The situation in the neighbouring units is even worse: the 95th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade near Olhovka (40 km northwest of Kremenna) has only one out of 11 T-80BV tanks in good condition, and only four out of 18 BM-21 Grad tanks in good condition. Most of the equipment is seriously damaged and cannot be used in combat.
The AFU paratroopers cannot quickly repair tanks and multiple rocket launchers using their own resources: Because of the strikes on Ukraine's power facilities, the delivery of spare parts and necessary equipment to the front lines has practically stopped.

⚡️ Frontline report for the morning of 06.11.2022⚡️
There are "thunderstorms" in the Kherson direction. Ukrainian rocket artillery is firing heavily at the regional center. Barrel artillery is also reaching some areas. The Russian one is not silent either. Soldatskyy, Blagodatnyy, and Zelenyi Hai were hit. In the vicinity of the M-14. It looks like the AFU is preparing to attack in this direction. Relative obstacles are the canal in front of Chornobaivka and the Rope River behind it. Absolute obstacles are the presence of cadre units of the Russian Armed Forces. In general, it is who. (Fig.1).

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue the special military operation.
💥 In Kupyansk direction, 1 battalion tactical group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), supported by a group of nationalists, attempted to attack Russian forces' positions at a narrow front stretch towards Novosyolovskoye (Lugansk People's Republic).
◽️ The enemy units have been stopped by strikes launched by Army Aviation, heavy flamethrower systems, artillery, and intensive action of Russian forces. These units are under fire attacks.
◽️ Moreover, an enemy company tactical group attempted to attack Russian positions near Kotlyarovka (Kharkov region).
◽️ Firepower's operation has resulted in the frustration of the attack launched by the AFU units.
Up to 200 Ukrainian personnel, 8 tanks, 9 armoured fighting vehicles, and 8 pickups have been eliminated in the abovementioned direction.
💥 In Krasny Liman direction, 2 enemy battalion tactical groups made an unsuccessful attempt to launch an attack towards Ploshchanka, Artyomovka, Stelmakhovka (Lugansk People's Republic), and Yampolovka (Donetsk People's Republic).
◽️ Attacks launched by Russian artillery and Army Aviation have resulted in the elimination of up to 250 Ukrainian personnel and nationalists, 2 tanks, 4 armoured fighting vehicles, 1 Grad multiple-launch rocket system (MLRS), 1 self-propelled artillery system, and 12 motor vehicles.
◽️ In addition, a high-precision attack launched by Russian Aerospace Forces has resulted in the elimination of up to 100 militants from nationalist groups, and mercenaries, including about 40 mercenaries from the USA, United Kingdom, and Poland, as well as 10 armoured fighting vehicles.
💥 In South Donetsk direction, Russian artillery units and assault groups have neutralised AFU units near Pavlovka and Novomikhaylovka (Donetsk People's Republic).
◽️ Up to 70 Ukrainian personnel, 1 tank, 1 infantry fighting vehicle, 4 pickups, and 2 U.S.-manufactured M-777 howitzers have been eliminated.
💥 In Nikolayev–Krivoy Rog direction, up to 1 enemy mechanised infantry company attacked Russian forces' positions towards Sablukovka and Pyatikhatki (Kherson region).
◽️ Firepower's operation, and successful action of Russian units have resulted in driving the enemy back to initial positions.
◽️ Over 50 Ukrainian personnel, 8 armoured fighting vehicles, and 10 motor vehicles have been eliminated.
◽️ Moreover, 2 AFU self-propelled artillery systems have been destroyed by loitering ordnance near Novopetrovka (Kherson region).
💥 Operational-Tactical and Army Aviation, Missile Troops and Artillery have neutralised 1 command post of 72nd Mechanised Infantry Brigade of the AFU near Prechistovka (Donetsk People's Republic), as well as 67 artillery units at their firing positions, manpower and hardware in 184 areas.
◽️ 1 ordnance depot of 65th Mechanised Brigade of the AFU has been destroyed near Zaporozhye.
◽️ Moreover, an attack launched at the ordnance depot of the AFU near Krasnoarmeysk (Donetsk People's Republic) has resulted in the destruction of 120 rockets launched by U.S.-manufactured HIMARS MLRS, 250 rockets launched by Smerch MLRS, and 2 transport-loading vehicles.

❗️The offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kherson can be stopped due to NATO's mistake:
According to the Military Chronicle, for a breakthrough in the Berislav direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine plan to use small infantry units equipped with VAB light armored personnel carriers made in France and British Husky TSVs, delivered to replace the BTR-70 and BTR-80 lost in battles with an 8 × 8 wheel arrangement.
By the beginning of November, 90% of the 28th mountain assault brigade, the 60th infantry and the 46th brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were equipped with these types of vehicles. According to radio interception, the command of the 46th brigade doubts the effectiveness of this equipment against Russian artillery and at the end of October appealed to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with a request to cancel the attack on Berislav without heavy weapons cover.
According to the Military Chronicle, it became known from the radio interception of the 46th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine that the command of this formation was ready to attack in the Berislav direction only if the 17th tank brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was supported. However, in this formation, less than half of the tanks needed by the brigade according to the regular structure are in combat readiness.
Serious damage to the French and British armored personnel carriers in the areas of concentration of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is caused by the Giacint-S and Msta-B guns, as well as the division of the special power of the Malka guns of 203 mm caliber from the artillery sleeve of the RF Armed Forces on the left bank of the Dnieper.
The combat work of artillery of the RF Armed Forces in the Berislav direction exacerbated another problem of the Armed Forces of Ukraine - poor staffing with spare parts and specialized tires for foreign-made armored personnel carriers.
Due to the error of equipment senders in NATO countries, the VAB, Husky TSV armored personnel carriers, as well as American FMTV M1083 tractors (transport of M777 howitzers with a protected cab) were delivered to Ukraine without spare wheels. Splinters of 152-mm shells hit the wheels repeatedly, which led to the fact that the armored vehicles had to be written off.
The use of third-party rubber and a different size leads to overheating of the transmission, engine breakdowns and off-road problems.
Before the start of the expected November offensive, losses in light armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine can reach 70%. After that, the Ukrainian troops risk losing the possibility of tactical maneuver and will be forced to switch to passive defense.

🚨 A publication has appeared online about a mobilised man from #Voronezh who claims that his entire battalion was killed in one morning near #Makeevka in the LPR. The casualty figures increase as the story goes on: first the fighter's wife says "more than half of the battalion" died, then he himself reports 41 survivors out of 570, and later that "at least one battalion" had been completely defeated there earlier as well.
⁉️ How much of this can be true?
To begin with, the death of as many as five hundred men in defence in just one day in a single small area is an extraordinary event. And hundreds of corpses lying compactly after an artillery bombardment would have certainly fallen into the lenses of enemy fighters' and copters' cameras.
Surprisingly, no shocking footage has ever appeared on the net. And the AFU themselves, judging by their own internal reports, are clearly not aware of the sensational event.
⁉️ So where did the huge numbers from the story of a kind of eyewitness come from?
▪️ At the heart of such reports is often "elephant radio" - a hodgepodge of frontline rumours. This is where stories of Baltic snipers, an underground airfield in #Khmelnitsky and a Battalion of Poles near #Kupyansk come from. On the other side of the front it is the same - the ubiquitous "Chechen divisions" and the Chinese in Donbass.
▪️ A similar thing is happening with casualties, where with each new link in the "tainted telephone" the number of killed and wounded is becoming less and less like the real figure. As a result, the death of two men can, over time, be transformed into "half a company of boys have been killed".
▪️ Poor organization plays an important role in stories about the death of entire battalions per battle. Lack of communication may lead a soldier to genuinely believe that all neighbouring units have already been annihilated and all of them are dead.
Therefore a mobilized soldier who has come under fire for the first time in the chaos of command and control of his troops may in all seriousness speak of great losses. Even if he has not seen dozens of corpses personally. And the "elephant radio" adds more details and gradually increases the figures to hundreds of killed a day.
🩸 The most effective way to deal with such stories is to eliminate problems with the organisation. When the commander at least knows his location and has contact with headquarters, and his unit does not consist entirely of untrained mobilised men who are not afraid of being court-martialled for fleeing their positions.
Otherwise, the media space will be flooded with "eyewitness accounts" of divisions destroyed in one day. This will be readily exploited by Western and Ukrainian resources with foreign-agent publications to spread panic in the army and society.

Pavlovka-Ugledar Report
Pavlovka straddles the Kashlahach river, so at lower elevation compared to Ugledar, up on commanding heights next to it. Plus, this is mining land, so you have the “terrikon” slag heaps all around, which is where the Ukies position their mortars and such. Hence the “firing cauldron.”
The way to take Pavlovka would have been with overwhelming force, sweep it, sweep west to Perechistovka, take that and cut off western supply, take Vodyanoye to the north, then take Ugledar in horseshoe encirclement (at least), if not outright encirclement. But do everything at once. Not hit one’s head on a brick wall in Pavlovka for a week straight.
For that, you need men. I thought they had concentrated enough, but clearly they had not. In retrospect, should have waited for more troops, but someone really wanted to be the author of the first successful Russian offensive post-Krasny Liman. Some idiot.

In three months of offensive operations, the ranks of the AFU have been noticeably thinned, and they have to compensate for losses with inexperienced "meat", which is in great turnover - our guys call them "one-day soldiers" at the fronts. Their life lasts for exactly one day. Like one-day-old butterflies.
Our artillerymen tell us how the Kiev regime throws people into the same shelled positions. After a good artillery raid from our side, the enemy position falls silent. After a reconnaissance by UAV, it is seen that there is no movement at the positions and the remains of the enemy are scattered over the trenches, and the next morning, 50 new men appear at the same positions - and the fire merry-go-round takes place all over again. And so it goes on day after day for three months. Kyiv is simply filling the front with "meat", without removing the dead from the battlefield so as not to spoil the statistics.
Against the background of the depleted Ukrainian Armed Forces (and the West itself), there have been calls in the foreign media for a resumption of negotiations.
"The Ukrainian authorities must demonstrate openness to talks with Russia," The Washington Post wrote.
The paper adds that these requests by representatives of US President Biden's administration were not prompted by a desire to push Ukraine to start negotiations, but "to ensure the support of the Kiev government by other countries", fearing a prolonged war, as well as "fatigue with Ukraine".
And fatigue has indeed emerged. Europe, unlike Ukrainians, is well aware that money can run out, and the war in Ukraine has deprived them of cheap energy resources and therefore of production capacity. And society in many countries is beginning to stir like the sea, the situation is close to a storm.
Only one country is profiting from this conflict and that is America. There is no problem with money; they print it themselves and sell energy resources at exorbitant prices to their partners. Plus the arms trade is also a very lucrative business. The US has been solving its economic problems all its history at the expense of major wars.
But here, apparently, Europe howled and began to put pressure on Biden to solve this conflict: winter is near. Freezing the war is also good for Ukraine. The respite will help Kyiv and the West to survive the cold and prepare serious reserves. And this will be done at training grounds in Europe and England, and these tens of thousands will come back equipped and armed to then hit us.
We just had the mobilization, and just in these few months, about 300 thousand soldiers have been trained. This is a fresh force that can now give us a clear advantage on the front lines. Plus the missile strikes have drained Ukraine. They now have to think more about how to survive the winter, and because of this, the war is receding into the background. At the same time, no one has said that the strikes on the energy system will stop.
Due to a combination of these factors, the West is looking for negotiations to freeze the conflict. At the same time, we must understand that negotiations and any agreements reached are not a panacea, but simply an opportunity to give the enemy a respite that will allow him to strengthen and make up for his losses. There must be one way - complete and unconditional victory over the enemy. Only then will this conflict come to an end.

1. #Avdeevka Direction:
The battles for #Pervomayskoye, #Vodyanoye and #Opytnoye continue. There are no significant advances during the day. The battles are of a positional nature.
The enemy continues shelling the #Donetsk agglomeration, as well as rotating tattered units.
2. #Ugledar:
The Russian Armed Forces' offensive on #Ugledar has stalled in #Pavlovka. The settlement has still not been taken.
The offensive at Novomikhailovka also came to a standstill. By regrouping reserves, the AFU was able to stabilise the situation and prevent the front from breaking through.
Both sides, according to reports from the ground, suffered serious losses.
3. #Artemovsk (#Bakhmut):
Fighting continues for #Opytnoye and fortifications to the east of #Kurdyumovka. Our troops are also trying to advance to the northwestern outskirts of #Artemovsk, which is increasingly becoming the equivalent of #Popasna.
The enemy has engaged some of the reserves accumulated near Chasov Yar to stabilize the front.
An assault on #Artemovsk is likely to begin after our troops took #Opytnoye.
4. #Soledar/#Seversk:
No significant changes. The frontline here is fairly stable.
Street fighting to the west of the Knauf plant continues in Soledar itself. No particular movement so far. As well as counterattacks by the AFU do not produce any particular results for the enemy.
Near #Spornoye and #Belogorovka there is no change.
5. Svatovo:
The enemy continues to probe our defences in the direction of the #Kremennaya - #Svatovo highway. As in recent days, attacks by the AFU have yielded few results with significant losses in manpower and equipment. The situation in this direction is close to stabilization.
In the #Kremennaya area, the enemy is tied up by fighting in the area of #Torskoye and #Terny.
It is advantageous for the Russian Armed Forces to maintain the current trends until the second half of November and early December, when the situation in this direction may change in our favour due to the mobilization reserves drawn in.
6. #Kherson.
On the front line, there are no particular changes, enemy attacks are fairly confidently repulsed with losses for the AFU.
Nevertheless, the enemy is amassing forces in the Krivoy Rog, #Nikopol and #Nikolaev directions for anticipated attacks on #Berislav and #Kherson. The Russian Armed Forces are preparing to defend.
However, rumors continue to circulate about retreating to the left bank and surrendering #Kherson.
For its part, the AFU continues to claim that the Russian Armed Forces are trying to lure the AFU into an offensive on #Kherson.
7. #Zaporozhye:
There are no significant changes on the front line. Signs persist of AFU preparations across the #Dnipro near #Energodar and the #Zaporozhye NPP, as well as preparations for a strike in the direction of #Pology and #Tokmak.

The SMO commander announced "difficult decisions" on Kherson nearly three weeks ago.
What has happened in the meantime:
- Practically managed to stabilize the front along the Kremenna-Svatovo line, although it is clear that the AFU is tasked with developing an offensive in this particular direction to subsequently disrupt the supply of RF Armed Forces groups from the north and increase the logistical shoulder;
- It was not possible to encircle Artemivsk, the Wagner PMC units are still fighting in the northeastern and southern suburbs;
- the Zaporizhzhya regional administration has reported a significant build-up of engineering barriers in the relevant section of the front;
- an unsuccessful offensive was launched in the Ugledar direction;
- After several unsuccessful attempts, the AFU temporarily abandoned its offensive in the Kryvyi Rih direction and began to accumulate reserves;
- at the same time, part of the AFU reserves was reoriented to the border with Belarus; however, if the threat does not prove to be significant, shortly, they may transfer one or two brigades to the most threatened direction, or reinforce the offensive grouping;
- and, eventually, the Russian Armed Forces launched a systematic fire attack on Ukraine's energy infrastructure in response to the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge. Which produced not so much a military result as a political one - there were noticeably more "signals" of a ceasefire from the Western press.
- The Russian Armed Forces are completing their mobilization training. According to various estimates, it will take about a month to man the military units and get them ready for combat. In addition, everyone has noted a sharp increase in the supply of striking and reconnaissance UAVs to the troops.
Thus, all decisions of the Defense Ministry reflect preparations for the winter military campaign. The main area of focus is the "Donbas arc" and reliance on exhausting the enemy to wait for/receive exhaustion of resources. Under these conditions, if there is no political "freezing" of the conflict, a possible date for the RF Armed Forces to reach the borders of the DNR and LNR could be May or June.

#Belgorod Region:
▪️ Ukrainian militants shelled an oil depot in the #Grayvoron municipal district. A solvent tank caught fire at the site, no casualties.
#Starobelsk Direction:
▪️ In the #Svatovo Sector, the AFU are trying to break through the Russian defence near #Kuzemovka village. Russian forces have detected the movement of small enemy groups and launched strikes against them.
▪️ In the evening, Ukrainian Militants shelled #Svatovo and #Melovatka with HIMARS MLRS, damaging residential buildings.
▪️ In the #Lyman sector, two companies of the 66th AFU Mechanized Brigade tried to storm Russian positions near #Kremennaya. Units of the 20th Army of the Russian Armed Forces ambushed the enemy forces and their reserves, launched artillery strikes and forced them to retreat to their initial lines.
#Soledar Direction:
▪️ Wagner PMC troops completely driven the AFU out of the #Ivangrad village vicinity, located in close proximity to #Bakhmut districts. In the west, fierce fighting for #Opytnoye continues.
#Donetsk Direction:
▪️ In the #Ugledar sector, fighting in #Pavlovka has finally become positional, with the AFU trying to drive the Russian forces out of their occupied positions. Near #Maryinka and #Novomikhailovka, Russian troops are also not conducting active assault actions and are entrenched in their positions.
▪️ Ukrainian militants shelled #Donetsk, #Gorlovka, #Spartak, #Yasynuvata and other settlements in the agglomeration. There are fatalities among civilians.
#Lugansk People's Republic:
▪️ Enemy militants struck #Alchevsk and #Stakhanov with HIMARS MLRS, damaging residential buildings and social infrastructure. One civilian was killed.
#Zaporozhye Direction:
▪️ Overnight, Geran-2 kamikaze drones hit an AFU repair base on Motorostroiteley Avenue and a facility near the Zaporozhye-Levoye railway station in #Zaporozhye.
▪️ Russian artillery shelled enemy positions near #Zaliznichnoye, #Gulyaypole, #Shcherbakov and #Olgovskoye.
#Nikolaev - #Berislav Direction on Southern Front:
▪️ In the #Berislav area, enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups attempted to infiltrate Russian positions at the #Sadok - #Dudchany - #Pyatikhatki line. They were all detected in advance, came under fire from Russian forces and withdrew.
▪️ Ukrainian militants fired HIMARS MLRS at #Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant. Russian air defence intercepted five missiles and one hit a sluice and caused light damage.
▪️ In the afternoon, Ukrainian saboteurs blew up a power line on the #Berislav - #Kakhovka trunk road. Power failed in #Kherson and there was a wave of looting in the city, exacerbated by law and order problems.
