❗️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Situation at Soledar as of 1 p.m. July 15, 2022 by @rybar:
Allied forces have begun fighting for Soledar, fighting continues for access to the outskirts of Seversk.
The Ukrainian command is conducting preliminary preparations for a second line of defense on the line Slavyansk-Kramatorsk-Konstantinovka. Some of the most combat-ready units have been withdrawn from Seversk, but it is extremely premature to talk about the start of fighting for the city itself: the surrounding heights are still controlled by the Ukrainian armed forces.
🔻The Seversky sector:
▪️Allied forces units are fighting on the outskirts of Verkhnekamenskoye. The occupation of Verkhnekamenskoye will make it possible to reach the outskirts of Seversk from the east and establish fire control over the Seversk - Soledar road.
▪️ South of Seversk, the AFU continues to prepare defensive positions: additional strongholds in Svyato-Pokrovskoye and Zvanovka are being established, and cover for the retreat of advance units from Ivano-Daryevka is being prepared.
▪️ Clashes continue in the vicinity of Ivano-Dar'evka to the west of the previously taken Spornoye, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces' positions are being hit by gunfire.
▪️In order to slow down the advance of the Russian Armed Forces, the AFU artillery crews are firing barrage at Verkhnekamenka, south of Grigorovka and the vicinity of Verkhnekamenskoye.
🔻In the Soledar area:
▪️After occupying Novaya Kamenka and Stryapovka, LPR NM units engaged in combat on the eastern outskirts of Soledar. There is shelling of AFU positions in the areas of the gypsum quarry and the KNAUF Gypsum factory.
▪️ To the north of the settlement, units of allied forces are fighting for control of Yakovlevka.
▪️AFU units are suffering heavy losses. The 122nd Battalion of the 81st Army Airborne Forces of the AFU was withdrawn for re-forming to the reserve lines. The artillery units of the 14th Brigade have suffered heavy losses in equipment. Of the 18 152 mm Akatsiya howitzers in service, only five are in good working order, the rest have been sent for repairs.
🔻The Artemovsky (Bakhmutovsky) section:
▪️ The AFU defenses near Kodoma and Vershina are being probed.
▪️ Units of the Russian Armed Forces launched missile and artillery strikes against Bakhmut, Chasov Yar, Soledar, Razdolovka and Ivano-Daryevka. As a result of hitting AFU positions in Chasov Yar, 20 servicemen were eliminated (43 were killed on July 11).

🔻 In the Donetsk area:
▪️ Fighting for Kamenka continues. Due to the possible blocking of the highway to Konstantinovka and disruption of supplies in Avdeevka, the Ukrainian command is making efforts to defend the settlement.
▪️ To strengthen the positions and rotate the 54th brigade, the forces of the 66th brigade equipped with HIMARS are being redeployed in this direction. Forward control posts are being deployed near Novoselidivka, Marinka and Krasnogorovka.
▪️ Units of the 54th brigade are withdrawn from the area of combat operations due to significant losses in manpower and equipment.
▪️ To uncover the positions of the Russian Armed Forces and the DNR, the Ukrainian armed forces' reconnaissance teams use reconnaissance UAVs near Ugledar, Kamianka and Avdeevka.
▪️ Artillery strikes were carried out against identified targets in Krynychne, Nikolskoye and Panteleymonivka.
🔻 In the Zaporizhzhya sector:
▪️ Due to constant artillery and mortar fire by the Russian Armed Forces and losses incurred, AFU efforts are focused on counter-battery warfare.
▪️ An AN/TPQ-37 radar is deployed near Odarovka. Units of the 33rd National Guard Brigade arrived in the vicinity of Tavriyskoye.
▪️ The redeployment of forces from the 65th Brigade to replace the 128th Ogsh Brigade continues. Due to existing communication problems between individual groups of troops, 65th Brigade artillerymen shelled a Ukrainian stronghold in Tavriyskoye.
▪️ In the forest belt near Gulyaypol, 110 Brigade's forces are deploying reserve positions due to constant artillery strikes by the Russian Armed Forces.
▪️ Russian artillery and MLRS crews fired at AFU staging areas in Hulaypil, Novoyakovlevka, Shcherbaki, Konstantinovka, Kurakhovo, Avdeevka, and Novhorodivka.
As a result of the strike on the temporary deployment point of the 45th Army Brigade of the AFU in Shcherbaki, a barracks with more than 70 servicemen was destroyed.

The Esteemed @Rybar Reports: The Ukrainian command moved one M142 HIMARS MLRS launcher to the outskirts of Sumy. Given the proximity of the Ukrainian regional centre to the Kursk region, the shelling of military and civilian infrastructure on Russian territory is to be expected.
Recent strikes on supply depots in Kherson and Donetsk oblasts proved the availability of long-range ammunition - at least ATACMS Block II (up to 140 km) - to the Ukrainian army. Even taking into account the deployment in Sumy, AFU units will be able to reach Kursk.
The existing suspicions are confirmed by the increased activity of commercial remote sensing satellites. The @vatfor team analysed data on which areas were imaged by Western remote sensing satellites. The focus is on the border areas of Kursk Oblast and Kursk itself.
In addition to probable missile strikes, several servicemen trained in subversive activities have been sent to the border to infiltrate Russian territory.
Back in May, we wrote that sabotage and reconnaissance groups were being trained at the training centre in Trostyanets in the Sumy Region under the guidance of American instructors.
Their task will be to create chaos and panic in Russian populated areas near Sumy Region and to target artillery and short-range MLRS. The Ukrainian leadership, by all indications, intends to act according to the Belgorod scenario, attacking border posts and rear positions.
However, this time, in addition to the aforementioned targets, the supply depots of the Russian grouping in the Kharkiv region may be targeted, which should not be allowed.
