❗️🇷🇺🇺🇦🎞 Chronicle of the special military operation: events of March 1, 2023
▪️Ukrainian formations with the help of drones again tried to attack objects on the territory of the Crimean peninsula.
Thanks to the well-coordinated work of Russian air defense systems, all 15 enemy vehicles were shot down on approach.
▪️In the Kupyansky sector, the parties are engaged in artillery duels and mutual reconnaissance.
Russian troops repulsed all attempts by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to regain control over Gryanikovka.
▪️In the Limansky sector, Russian assault detachments, with the support of tanks, knocked out the enemy from several heights in the Zhuravka Balka area.
At the same time, cannon and rocket artillery strikes at the identified positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
▪️The subdivisions of PMC "Wagner" expanded the zone of control in the direction of the village of Artemovskoye, gradually closing the encirclement.
The capture of the settlement will make it possible to cut off the last physical supply route for the Bakhmut group.
▪️South-west, Wagner subdivisions carry out regular raids on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Krasnoe and near the highway to Konstantinovka.
The Ukrainian command does not take into account the losses and throws reserve forces into battle, trying to hold back the advance of the Russian forces.
▪️Ukrainian formations continue indiscriminate shelling of settlements in the Donetsk agglomeration.
Residential buildings and infrastructure facilities in Makeevka, Gorlovka and Donetsk were hit.
▪️Russian marines continue to fight in summer cottages near Ugledar.
At the same time, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are building a multi-layered defense, waiting for a new offensive by Russian troops.

- On the territory of Ukraine there are "Leopards", of course. However, they have not yet appeared on the line of combat contact. It is obvious that in the near future there is no point in showing them. The enemy is given not so many tanks. The Ukrainians wanted 300 tanks, but they were promised no more than 100 by the spring campaign. Each unit is worth its weight in gold. Spending them on attacks in the Bakhmut area is stupid.
It is not yet clear whether a decision has been made to withdraw troops from Artyomovsk.
- Now we see that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have not retreated, there are fights. The enemy is throwing up reserves to hold the remaining corridor about 3.5 km wide. Yesterday new reserves were transferred there to stop our advance. Therefore, they managed to hold the Samolet crossroads. Today, most likely, the battles for him will continue. Our yesterday tried to slam this corridor, failed.
What about in other directions? They say that the loss of Vuhledar will be a strategic failure for Kyiv.
“So far, it doesn’t look like we can break through the front. The battles are going on, heavy systems are working, “Sun”, “Malki”. Now high-rise buildings in which snipers have settled are being destroyed.
When are the Armed Forces planning a counteroffensive?
- NATO equipment is even heavier than ours and it cannot pass through loose, water-soaked ground. No offensive will begin until the ground is ready. And this is closer to the end of March-beginning of April. Until the end of March, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will not be able to collect the required amount of equipment. So far, I have a lot of skepticism about this offensive.
What about additional equipment and foreign troops in Ukraine? Are there any risks that something may be on the line of contact?
- The question is that strategically it does not make sense for them. It is foolish to throw soldiers under Artyomovsk, taking into account the fact that artillery cannot maintain the leading edge for most of this arc. They will have to break through the front line, where our best units are. We have concentrated artillery power there, aviation is working. It's hard to imagine how they can do it. Such an operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has never been carried out before.

🇺🇦 About the perpetrators of the terrorist attack on the Bryansk region
A video with representatives of the Russian Volunteer Corps , which is part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, is circulating on the network at the feldsher-obstetric station in the village of Lyubechane , Bryansk region.
The armed men in the video claim that their group crossed the border of the Russian Federation , and that they are responsible for the attack on the border regions of the country.
🔻Who are they?
▪️ " Russian Volunteer Corps " is an anti-Russian nationalist movement, officially registered in August 2022 and became part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
▪️One of the founders is Denis Kapustin , known under the pseudonym Denis Nikitin. It is he who calls on the Russian people to take up arms in the video.
▪️ The number of movements is small . The main composition is Russian emigrants who have been living on the territory of Ukraine for a long time. The group also conducts recruitment from other countries.
▪️According to the participants in the movement, they can perform company- level tasks. However , before that RDK was mainly used for PR campaigns .
Earlier, they also declared their involvement in the murder of Daria Dugina and sabotage within Russia. The group has been repeatedly used by the Ukrainian authorities to acquit themselves of charges of terrorism.
🔻Why attack the Bryansk region
▪️Provocation for the purpose of PR and popularization of the activities of the " Russian Volunteer Corps ", which has not previously been seen in active hostilities.
After completing the task of shooting near the key buildings of the border villages, the saboteurs left the territory of the Bryansk region.
▪️A worked out plan of the Ukrainian authorities to use pseudo-Russian movements to organize sabotage . At the same time, the video is aimed at disavowing accusations of terrorism against Kiev: “this was not done by Ukrainian formations, but by people with Russian passports.”
🔻One of the goals of such actions is to create a picture of the struggle within Russian society. From here, the opposition and Western media are actively circulating reports that the attack was allegedly carried out by Russian people who disagree with the policy of the Russian authorities.
In fact, small radical groups under the full patronage of the Main Intelligence Directorate perform tasks to destabilize Russia.
And given the popular trend in the West to "cancel" Russian culture and replace everything Russian with "terrorists", "orcs", "neo-Nazis", the customers of this "performance" are obvious.
