In this report, the Russia Fires 2S5 "Giatsint-S" Soviet/Russian 152 mm self-propelled gun On Ukrainian Army Positions In Kharkiv / Kahrov Region Of Ukraine.
They walk us through the process of targeting to firing AND I confront them on Ukraine reports of civilians being targeted
The 2S5 Giatsint-S (Russian: 2С5 «Гиацинт-С»; English: hyacinth) is a Soviet/Russian 152 mm self-propelled gun. "2S5" is its GRAU designation. It has nuclear, biological, and chemical protection. The 2S5 is capable of engaging targets at longer ranges and at a higher rate of fire than the more widely produced 2S3 Akatsiya, and is capable of firing nuclear projectiles.
Production of the 2S5 Giatsint-S started in 1976 along with the towed version the 2A36 Giatsint-B. It uses a chassis modified from the SA-4 Krug surface-to-air missile system with good cross-country mobility, and can carry 30 152 mm rounds with a range of 28 kilometers, or 33-40 kilometers for rocket-assisted projectiles. In addition to high explosives, the gun can also fire HEAT, cluster, smoke and nuclear projectiles. Deploying to fire the gun takes 3 minutes, and it can sustain a rate of fire of 5 to 6 rounds per min. Most of the crew, with the exception of the gunner, deploys outside of the vehicle while firing. It is usually accompanied by an ammunition carrier with an additional 30 rounds of ammunition.
The 2S5 was introduced into service in 1978, replacing the 130mm M46 field gun battalions in Soviet artillery brigades at the Army and Front level. Production ceased in 1991. It has been used in Soviet-Afghan War, First Chechen War, Second Chechen War, War in Donbas
Much of The Kharkiv region of Ukraine was taken control of by Russian Forces back In February and March but in September Ukraine took control of much of it. Since then Ukraine and the western media have been trying to portray that Ukraine is in total control of the region but that is far from true. Now Russia is taking back many border areas of Kharkov Ukraine while wiping out large groups of Ukraine soldiers daily with heavy daily artillery attacks. In the last month, several areas have come back under Russian control.
Now Kharkov is by far not the only front line. There is the front line of Ukraine's struggle on the Kherson direction where for weeks Russia has been evacuating civilians from huge areas and Russian President Vladimir Putin said civilians must be evacuated from the Kherson war zone. Russian flags slowly started to come down from the administration buildings. Russia has now evacuated the city completely and Ukraine is now in control. And in fact Ukraine control has triggered a humanitarian crisis in the city of Kherson and now Ukraine is make civilians evacuate.
As Russia digs in just across the Dnieper river from Kherson seems to be setting the scene for possibly huge battles across the area.
As there is no coverage in English from the Russia controlled Kherson region our team is needed there and we will go soon but for now we are in Kharkov and the Lugansk People's Republic(internationally recognized as the Lugansk region).
The front is not only the hot area of debate of course.

Update on Zaporozie
Disruption of AFU offensive in Zaporizhzhya: details
On the morning of 25 November, a large AFU force was destroyed while trying to probe the Russian Armed Forces' defense line in the Pohohovskyy district of the Zaporizhzhya Region. Up to five battalions of the 65th and 110th mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian army were involved in the attack.
The offensive was launched south of Hulaypil and the village of Zheleznodorozhnoye (25 km north of the town of Polohy).
A few hours before the main strike, officers of the 3rd Separate Regiment of the AFU Special Operations Forces and officers of the SBU's Centre A with NLAW anti-tank complexes were eliminated near the positions of the Russian Armed Forces. Their conversations were detected by the Leer-3 electronic reconnaissance complex.
The AFU convoy was detected by an Orlan-30 drone on T-04-01. As expected, the shortage of heavy equipment forced the Ukrainian troops to advance lightly: instead of a dozen tanks, British Husky TSVs and Mastiff armored vehicles were thrown into combat. Two T-64BV tanks of the 1st Tank Brigade of the AFU covered the movement. They were destroyed by guided Krasnopol shells of 152 mm caliber.
After the artillery strike, Mi-28NM attack helicopters arrived at the location of the AFU convoy and finished off the Ukrainian troops with 30 mm 2A42 cannons and Ataka anti-tank guided missiles.
The attempt to identify weaknesses in the Russian Armed Forces' defense cost the AFU at least 40 people killed and some 200 seriously wounded. Many of the "three hundredths" were abandoned as the AFU fled into the fields between Gulyaypol and Dorozhnyanka.

A military expert explains how protected Crimea is from the threat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
Crimea is now protected both from the sea and the land borders, as well as from the air. Military expert Vasyl Dandykin told the Go and See channel about this.
In recent days, information about air defense operations in Crimea has been appearing all the time, indicating an attack from Ukraine.
💬"The attempted massive use of naval drones, including drones, which was repelled in Sevastopol by ships.
Both drones and drones were destroyed. To this day there is a similar reflection, these drones still appear over the northern Crimea," Dandykin said.
According to the expert, reliable air defense is organised in Crimea. Particular attention is paid to the protection of Sevastopol as the main base of the Black Sea Fleet.
Dandykin also said that energy supply facilities, in particular the Balaklava thermal power plant, are the main ones for the Kiev regime.
💬"But all attempts to attack it have been nullified by our military," the military expert concluded.
