🇷🇺🇺🇦 Defeat of AFU objects in the southern direction for June 16-23, 2022
🔻Despite the fact that the main theater of military action is now in the Donbass, and all attention is focused on the developing offensive of the allied forces there, the Russian Armed Forces continue to do their job successfully in the south of Ukraine as well.
The fighting here is predominantly positional, but the number of missile and artillery strikes on AFU facilities in the Mykolaiv and Odessa regions is respectable.
▪️ On 16 June, the Russian Armed Forces dealt fire to Ukrainian formations in Mykolaiv, Bereznevatskiy, Pervomaiskiy and Galitsynovskiy districts of Mykolaiv region.
▪️ On June 17, several cruise missiles struck storage facilities at the former Crystal plant in Mykolaiv (https://t.me/rybar/34040) as well as facilities at the Equator plant.
▪️ On June 18, the number of strikes increased significantly:
➖ At least 4 rocket attacks were recorded in Nikolaev, one of which targeted the territory of the Kulbakino airfield and the surrounding Ingulsk district.
➖In the Odessa region on the night of June 19-20, a cruise missile attacked enemy positions in the Belgorod-Dnistrovskiy district.
▪️20 June there was a relative lull in Nikolaev, but two missile strikes in Odessa destroyed an ammunition depot at the Shkolny airfield and another struck a facility in Artsyz.
▪️21 June there was a massive strike on the Ocean plant in Nikolaev: a large number of enemy equipment and living quarters were destroyed.
▪️22 June the volume of shelling increased significantly:
➖In Nikolaev, locals recorded at least 7 strikes on the city. One of them hit the terminal of the Avery company (https://t.me/rybar/34272) in the city port, where fuel and lubricants were stored.
➖ Another oil depot at the port area was partially destroyed;
➖The locations of the Ukrainian armed forces near the administration of the city's seaports were damaged;
➖The positions of 79 Odd Squadron were destroyed in the residential area of the Solyanye microdistrict (https://t.me/rybar/34266), where the local AFU soldiers had taken a fancy to their positions.
➖In the Odessa region, explosions were heard in the area of Zatoka and Vilkovo. Nearby, Western M-777 artillery units stationed on Kubansky Island were hit.
▪️The Russian Armed Forces continued strikes in the southern direction today, 23 June:
➖ At least three missile attacks were recorded in Nikolaev during the day.
➖In Odessa, residents heard two explosions, one near Nerubayskiy and one near Tairov.
➖In addition, the Russian Armed Forces air defense intercepted several Tochka-U missiles near Skadovsk.
