❗️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Attack on Donbass: situation in eastern Ukraine

by the end of August 5, 2022

▪️There are no significant changes in the front line in the Kharkiv direction.

➖ The RF Armed Forces are fighting with Ukrainian formations in the area of Pitomnik, Vesely, Prudyanka and Gusarovka.

➖ In the forest area east of Protopopovka, assault groups of the 58th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine tried to gain a foothold near Lake Liman, but suffered losses and retreated.

▪️ Allied forces continue their offensive in the Bakhmut (Artyomovsk) direction.

➖ In Soledar, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the 6th Cossack Regiment of the NM of the LPR repelled several attempts to counterattack the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of the KNAUF-GIPS plant.

➖ Assault detachments of PMC "Wagner" entrenched themselves on the eastern outskirts of Bakhmut (Artyomovsk).

➖ On the southern sector of the front, fighting is going on to the east of Kodema.

▪️Divisions of the People's Militia of the DPR, with the support of Russian artillery and aviation, are advancing in the Donetsk direction.

➖ The 11th regiment of the NM DPR is cleaning up Peskov. Ukrainian forces are resisting in the northwestern part of the village.

➖Fierce clashes continue in Marinka and Avdiivka.

➖ The crews of the Ukrainian cannon artillery once again fired at civilian infrastructure facilities in the Donetsk agglomeration. Today, a blow was struck at the Donetsk railway station.

▪️There are no significant changes on the front line in the Zaporozhye direction. Ukrainian formations fired several times at the ZNPP industrial site in the Zaporozhye region.

▪️In the Krivoy Rog direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are preparing for further offensive operations. Artillery duels continue on the line of contact.
