Attack on the Crimean bridge. Events Chronicle

▪️In the early morning on July 17, an explosion occurred on the bridge over the Kerch Strait, connecting the Crimean peninsula and Krasnodar region. The terrorist attack was carried out with the use of marine drones and was organized by Ukrainian security services.
▪️One of the spans of the automobile part of the bridge was destroyed and is beyond repair. Minor damage was caused to the railroad branch of the bridge - the traffic resumed at 9 am.
▪️Two people were killed in the attack: a man and a woman from the Belgorod region. Their daughter was injured and is currently in hospital.
▪️According to Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin, one lane of the Crimean Bridge roadbed will be under repair until September 15.
▪️According to preliminary estimates, the bridge pillars have not been damaged, divers have almost completed the inspection.
▪️The heads of the Kherson, Zaporizhzhia regions and the DPR announced that there would be no curfew along the main highways: all traffic participants would be able to pass freely, checkpoints in the Rostov region are being prepared for round-the-clock operation.
▪️In order to avoid queues in the direction of Crimea, ferry crossings are once again operating, inspection and passport control have been simplified at checkpoints. An interregional coordination office was also set up to solve problems on the roads.

Response to the AFU offensive on Artemovsk by Russian paratroopers
▪️ The AFU armoured vehicles approaching as taxis are immediately hit by our artillery. In general, it plays a primary role in repelling attacks. The militants who survived after the defeat are trying to spread out on the landings. And that's when the artillery comes into full force. The landings are literally mixing with the ground. At 00:40 you can clearly see the explosion of the ammunition of the AFU mortar, which was standing in the forest belt. In this fiery hell, 1 - 2 frightened fighters from the group that arrived reach the designated hole. The rest are searched in vain on the radio.
▪️ After the main enemy forces are dispersed through the landings, the real hunt begins! Every burrow in which a soldier can hide is carefully inspected from the air, and if they are found in it, a team is called in to smoke them out of the burrows or leave them inside forever.

Not a single vessel was recorded off the coast of Ukraine and in the water area nearby. The grain deal is closed. Ukraine has lost access to the Black Sea completely.
The Kupyansk direction was chosen by our Army as a priority for an offensive operation.
For about a week, our forces have been carrying out an operation to liberate part of the Kharkov region, which we lost in the fall of 2022 during the so-called "regrouping of forces and means."
Now the main efforts are aimed at the liberation of Kupyansk and the Kupyansk region.
Ours are constantly delivering powerful strikes from all types of weapons on the rear of the Kharkov group of Nazis. There is destruction and disorganization of the control and supply of the enemy.
On an ongoing basis, headquarters, warehouses of used fuels and lubricants, accumulations of equipment, and Ukrainian personnel are destroyed.
Over the past week, the ground has been prepared for holding and bringing reserves into battle. We are ready to translate tactical success into operational success.
An assault on Sinkovka, Minkovka, and Dvurechnaya is being prepared.
The enemy, meanwhile, is redeploying his reserves, removing them from the priority directions of the "counterattack" - Zaporozhye and Donetsk.

🇷🇺⚔️🇺🇦 The enemy is trying with all his might to knock out the "🅾️" group from the Karmazinovsky bridgehead: Fights on the Svatovsko-Kremenny line
➖ In the area of N. p. Karmazinovka our fighters repulsed 3 attacks from militants of the 25th airborne brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Thanks to accurate strikes and the stamina of the fighters, the positions were held. The enemy suffered losses and was forced to retreat.
🙌 Two militants of the 25th Airborne Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were captured.
➖ In the area of the Serebryansky forestry, an attack by the 67th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was repelled. The enemy was defeated by army aviation and artillery fire.
💥 3 attempts to attack the armored groups 42 and 67 ombr were stopped. The enemy was defeated by artillery strikes.
➖ In the area of N. p. Yampolovka was discovered and destroyed by the reconnaissance group of the 21st brigade.
➖ In the area of N. p. Chervonaya Dibrova special forces destroyed 2 DRGs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The first train after the morning explosion is already passing the Crimean bridge. This means that the railroad track is intact.
