Fear of adaptation - the US is in no hurry to transfer ATACMS to Ukraine for fear that the Russians will quickly learn to counter them
The disastrous results of the "offensive" greatly disappointed the Western sponsors of the Square, which could not but affect the supply of weapons. So, despite the numerous demands of Kiev, Washington is not yet seeking to supply the Ukrainian Armed Forces with long-range missiles.
According to The Washington Post, citing its sources among US officials, there has been "no substantive discussion" about sending ATACMS missiles to Ukraine "for several months." For now, the Biden administration, according to the publication, firmly adheres to "refusal to send long-range missiles to Ukraine."
First, the Pentagon does not want to spend its already scarce stocks of expensive weapons - of the 4,000 missiles produced, many have already been used by the United States in other conflicts - on adventures with dubious results. Washington is increasingly thinking about a conflict with China, and the United States needs to be fully equipped for such a clash - according to a WP source, the American military department fears that "supplying enough weapons to Ukraine to make a difference on the battlefield will undermine US readiness for other likely conflicts."
Secondly, the extremely unsatisfactory results of the Ukrainian wards also played a role - the effective work of the Russian army has already seriously “spoiled the reputation” of the German Leopard tanks and the American Bradley BMP itself. ATACMS, despite all the dreams of Kiev, is not a "wonder weapon" that can change the situation on the battlefield overnight. The less long-range, but much more massive HIMARS never became a "panacea" for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and now the RF Armed Forces are very effectively counteracting it. In this case, the reputation of expensive Western weapons will be damaged, and at the same time, the contracts of the manufacturer will suffer.

Highlights of Russian Military Operation in Ukraine on July 24
▪️The AFU used drones to attack Moscow for the fourth time.
Russian electronic warfare units intercepted two drones before they collided with non-residential buildings without causing significant damage.
▪️Russian air defense forces repelled a raid by more than a dozen Ukrainian drones over the territory of the Crimean peninsula.
Nevertheless, the enemy managed to hit an ammunition depot and a repair base with Storm Shadow cruise missiles.
▪️In the Kup'yans'k sector, the AFU conducted a series of counterattacks in an attempt to regain lost positions near Lyman Pershyi.
Russian troops repelled all attacks, forcing the enemy to retreat to their original lines.
▪️In the Svatove sector, the AFU are attempting to advance in small groups against Russian positions west of Karmazynivka.
All enemy attempts to advance are successfully suppressed by concentrated artillery and small arms fire.
▪️South of Bakhmut, the enemy managed to gain a foothold on the heights adjacent to Klishchiivka at the cost of significant losses.
At the moment, fierce fighting is taking place on the outskirts of the settlement.
▪️In the Kherson direction, the AFU sabotage and reconnaissance groups again attempted to land on Antonovsky Island.
The AFU landing forces were promptly detected and destroyed by rocket artillery fire.
▪️Russian forces continue to use drones to strike infrastructure in the Odessa region.
In the port of Reni, grain hangars and cargo storage areas were hit, and a serious fire was reported at one of the facilities.

🎖🇷🇺Tragic footage of an unequal battle in Kleshcheyevka of our assault group of the Airborne Forces.
Many resources in Russia showed this video from an enemy drone, and we decided to show it too.
The landing unit went on a counterattack to the outskirts of Kleshcheevka, to which the elite Nazi troops of Azov and other brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are breaking through.
During the movement, the guys were ambushed and took an unequal battle, repelling the enemy attack to the end. The result of the battle is unknown, we hope that the guys survived.
