🇷🇺⚔️🇺🇦The Battle for Staromayorskoye: The 247th Cossack regiment of the [Russian] Airborne Forces eliminated an entire brigade of the AFU in 1.5 months
▪️1.5 months ago, the enemy broke through our defence at the Vremiev Salient and began to move further south. To counter this, the most combat-ready units were withdrawn from the Kherson front and brought here in order to stop the AFU.
▪️ The 247th Stavropol Airborne Regiment of the Airborne Troops came to Staromayorskoye and entered the battle without delay, to assist the units of the 5th Army of the Western Military District, which were retreating after serious losses and due to lack of manpower.
▪️The guys entered the line of defence, which was left unprepared by the retreating soldiers, and a heroic defence began, with our troops pelted with tons of shells and the NATO-equipped armoured columns trying to break through the defence every day.
▪️Over the 1.5 months of fighting here, many dozens of enemy vehicles were destroyed; the enemy lost at least 3000 fighters killed and wounded, but they continued to throw cannons fodder at our defences.
▪️In the end, the village was turned into ruins and wiped off the face of the earth.
▪️The Airborned Troops stood until the end; many guys are with serious wounds in hospitals, some of the guys here fought their last battle. Eternal memory and Kingdom of Heaven to the fallen soldiers.
▪️ "The paratroopers did something that was beyond human capabilities, if [the enemy] takes each strip of forest for 3 weeks at the cost of such losses, they will soon run out," said one of the fighters in the midst of the fighting.

▫️ In the South Donetsk direction, the advanced units of the Vostok group of troops, supported by artillery, repelled several enemy attacks in the direction of Urozhaynoye. Having suffered significant losses, the enemy retreated.
▫️ Artillery fire destroyed an accumulation of militants near Uglesborochnaya and eliminated an AFU reconnaissance group north-west of Shevchenko.
▫️ In the area of Staromayorskoye, the enemy tried to accumulate forces for an offensive. In the course of aerial reconnaissance, foreign-made infantry fighting vehicles, MTLBs and AFU manpower were uncovered and destroyed by UAVs attack.
▫️ Army aviation helicopters destroyed tanks and IFVs, and hit the areas where AFU troops were amassed in Urozhaynoye.

The enemy continues to control part of Staromayorskoye and is trying to storm Urozhaynoye. Ours are repelling new enemy attacks and trying to implement the scheme with Pyatikhatki here, where the enemy is bogged down in the Orekhovo direction. The AFU understands this, so they are trying to deal with Staromayorskoye and Urozhaynoye as quickly as possible in order to be able to develop an offensive southwards to the west of Volnovakha. But instead of breakthroughs, they are slowly pushing through.

On the Zaporozhye direction the RF Armed Forces are confidently controlling the situation in the area of Pyatikhatki and continue to repel enemy attacks (which weakened after 26 July) in the area of Rabotino.
The plan of massive breakthrough of the first line of defence of the RF Armed Forces did not work here, despite the large resources invested in this strike and the losses already suffered.

In the Artemovsk direction, fierce fighting continues for Klescheyevka, Andreevka and Kurdyumovka. The enemy continues to try to take at least one of these settlements. The main focus is on Klescheyevka. The village is under our control today.

In the Svatovo direction our troops continued to advance to Oskol. Over the last 24 hours the front has advanced 1.5 kilometres further westwards. In the area of Torskoye and Yampolovka, the enemy has so far managed to stop our further advance, but our troops have increased their pressure in the woods west of Kremennaya and slightly advanced in the direction of the Seversky Donets.

Our sources in the OP said that Ukraine has lost most of the Soviet air defense, and the number of missiles for the rest is at a minimum. The number of Western air defenses in the Armed Forces of Ukraine has grown, but does not allow covering the entire country, and the price of one launch is ten times more expensive than Soviet systems.
This is the main item of expenditure of the Western allies, and they are increasingly demanding to save missiles. Therefore, arrivals at infrastructure facilities have become commonplace. Russian troops, for their part, have learned to suppress air defense: its effectiveness has sharply decreased.
Corruption in Ukraine (including in the military sphere) has become the main problem of the Office of the President on the international track . And in the West, where they understand the alignment that has developed in warring Ukraine (when almost all "cuts" and corruption "schemes" are supervised at the top of the government), they have accumulated a serious dossier and are ready to use it, including against those who will try to lead at least a relatively independent line.

Thus, the Inspector General of the US State Department issued a review on the control of military aid allocated to Ukraine. The document says that corruption in Ukraine threatens its effectiveness.

▫️The AFU continued to attempt offensive actions in South Donetsk, Krasny Liman and Donetsk directions.
▫️In South Donetsk direction, the enemy continued attempts to break through the defence of Russian troops using armoured and other heavy vehicles.
▫️The AFU with the 47th Mechanised Brigade reinforced with foreign-manufactured tanks have attacked the positions of the 71st Motorised Rifle Regiment of the 42nd Motorised Rifle Division of the 58th Army of the Southern Military District and the 810th Marine Brigade of the Black Sea Fleet close to the Rabotino and Uspenovka settlements of the Zaporozhye. The military personnel, successfully repelled all the attacks of superior enemy forces.
▫️The enemy losses were up to 180 servicemen, 5 tanks, including 3 German-manufactured Leopard and 2 French-manufactured AMX wheeled tanks, 17 IFVs, 2 AFVs, 1 M777 artillery system, and 1 Strela-10 surface-to-air missile system.
▫️Close to Vremevka salient near Staromayorskoye DPR, an attack by an assault detachment of the AFU 35th Marine Brigade has been repelled by Vostok Group of Forces. 1 SRG has been destroyed.
▫️The enemy losses were up to 110 servicemen, 2 IFVs, 3 AFVs, 2 motor vehicles, as well as howitzers: D-20, D-30 and Msta-B.
▫️In Krasny Liman direction, 4 attacks by assault groups of the AFU 67th Mechanised Brigade against the positions of the 228th Motorised Rifle Regiment of the 90th Armoured Division have been repelled close to Chervonaya Dibrova LPR.
▫️Assault detachments of the 15th Motorised Rifle Brigade of the 2nd Army continued to develop their success in Svatovo direction and captured a number of AFU strongholds near Sergeevka LPR. The advance into the depth of the enemy defence was 1.5 kilometres.
▫️To the west of Zhitlovka LPR, detachments of Shtorm 252nd and 752nd motorised rifle regiments of the 20th Army, have attacked the enemy and advanced 3 kilometres deep into the defence.
▫️Units of the 21st and 35th motorised rifle brigades of 2nd and 41st armies have suppressed enemy manpower and hardware of 25th airborne, 21st and 67th mechanised brigades, the 100th Territorial Defence Brigade and the 5th Operational Brigade of the Ukrainian National Guard close to Torskoye and Yampolovka DPR, Novovodyanoye, Chervonaya Dibrova and Kremennaya LPR.
▫️The enemy losses were up to 90 servicemen, 2 IFVs, 3 AFVs, 3 motor vehicles, 1 Gvozdika and 1 D-30 howitzer.

▫️In Donetsk direction, the defending units of 7th, 9th and 132nd motorised rifle brigades of 1st and 2nd army corps of the Yug Group of Forces, have successfully repelled 7 attacks by enemy assault detachments of 53rd mechanised, 59th motorised infantry and 81st airmobile brigades close to Belogorovka, Zaitsevo, Pervomaiskoye and Vodyanoye DPR.
▫️As a result of actions by aviation and artillery, manpower and hardware of 24th, 28th, 43rd, 110th mechanised, 10th mountain assault, 3rd airborne assault and 77th airmobile brigades of the AFU have been destroyed close to Avdeevka, Konstantinovka, Seversk, Novgorodskoye and Belaya Gora DPR.
▫️The rotation of AFU units has been disrupted close to Klescheevka DPR.

▫️An enemy rear control point of the Ukrainian group of troops 'Soledar', as well as the field control point of the 10th Army Corps of the AFU have been destroyed close to Druzhkovka DPR and Malaya Tokmachka (Zaporozhye)
▫️Air defence facilities have shot down 2 projectiles launched by HIMARS MLRS.

Explosion in Taganrog. What is known
🔹 On Friday, July 28, in the center of Taganrog (Rostov region) around 16.00 Moscow time there was a strong explosion. 15 people asked for medical help, nine of them were hospitalized in a state of moderate and mild severity, according to the governor of the region Vasily Golubev. There are no dead.
🔹 The press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense stated (https://t.me/rtvimain/80704) that the cause of the explosion was the fragments of a downed Ukrainian missile that fell on the territory of the city.
🔹 Another rocket was shot down in the Azov region in the southwest of the region, Governor Golubev later said. The information was confirmed (https://t.me/rtvimain/80707) by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
🔹 According to the head of the region, the epicenter of the explosion fell on the territory of the Taganrog Art Museum. The wall of the museum, the roof, garages and outbuildings were destroyed. It's not pleasant when the enemy storms your settlement and takes it. Even if this settlement is in the screening sector of the main line of defense. Even if it was fought for a month, which turned it into a kind of analog of the village of Polunino during the Battle of Rzhev. Even if the loss to success ratio was not worth it for the enemy. It's just unpleasant. And it sparks concerns. Nevertheless, even before the beginning of the battle, the fate of the Vremeevsky Salient, located to the north of the main line of defence, was predetermined—as a screening band, a pre-field. A place where the enemy will be slowed down, a place to absorb the initial frontal assault.
More than one village has been lost there. And there's nothing wrong with that. Keeping troops in the pocket, created at one time to storm Velikaya Novoselovka, is dangerous and stupid. Voluntarily staying in a cauldron for the sake of the peace of mind of some of those in the rear is overkill. Meanwhile, the enemy has been pressing on Priyutnoe for more than a month, suffering heavy losses there, and will now take up the assault on Urozhaynoe. The enemy's operational base is comprised of Malinovka (abandoned by the Russian Armed Forces last year) and Poltavka. Just as Gulyai Pole is a base for attacks in the direction of Polog, and Orekhov—in the direction of Rabotino.
But the media is silent about Priyutnoye, the grave of the Zaporozhye territorial defence forces of Ukraine. And so are the bloggers. It is as if the settlement does not exist. As well as the district of Vasilievka. If it does not exist in the media, it is not real. But the men are fighting. It's like with Kleshcheyevka over on another front. Even if our troops retreat from there, nothing much will happen. There are defensive lines further afield. But in the public consciousness a myth has been painted... a beautiful and flawless mirage. But this myth is a lie. So is the myth of the villages in Zaporozhye. After almost two months, the enemy entered a village in the screening sector. That's all there is to say about that.
And this is no reason to worry and interfere with the army implementing its plans. The people there know their job. They perform two tasks—minimizing their own losses and disrupting the enemy offensive. There's no need to put spokes in their wheels. Make it a cardinal rule. The Russian Army is working, and working successfully. It is holding back the enemy's advance.
