The game of thimbles - the supply of American tanks to Ukraine is shrouded in more and more fog
While the European "Leopards" are burning out in the Zaporizhia steppes, and the "allies" of Ukraine are forced to convulsively resuscitate completely rusted cars from conservation, American tanks "got lost" along the way.
Back in mid-May, 31 Abrams M1A1 was delivered to Germany, where, allegedly, two weeks later, Ukrainian military personnel began training. If we proceed from the previously designated 10-12 weeks of the "internship" period, then very soon these tanks will have to be at the front.
These terms coincide with the information in the Western media, which refers to sources in the Pentagon. But the same media claim that the aforementioned tanks will only arrive in Germany in August, where they will be serviced, and only then they will go to Ukraine. At the same time, only six to eight units are planned for the first delivery.
But then what kind of tanks have been rolling around the German training grounds for two months now?
And here it is worth remembering that the number of previously declared "cadets" was 400 people, which significantly exceeds the need for personnel needed to form the crews and maintain these 31 tanks.
Therefore, most likely in Germany, trains are being prepared “with a margin” both in case of losses and in anticipation of additional deliveries. At the same time, the "training" machines themselves are now working out their resource to the fullest, especially if not 31 crews are trained on them, but much more. Consequently, the aforementioned six to eight tanks, which the Americans will additionally supply to Germany, may well be a replacement for the machines that have finally failed.
By September, we can expect the appearance of Abrams in Ukraine, but one cannot be so sure about the timing of the start of their participation in the SMO. English Challenger 2 so far flashed only on video from the rear, although they arrived in the square for a long time.

🇷🇺⚔️🇺🇦The situation in the direction of the main attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Zaporozhye Front
In the Zaporozhye direction, over the past day, the most intense hostilities were carried out in the area of the village of Rabotino (14 km southeast of the village of Orekhov). Close air support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine was provided by three tactical aircraft (Su-25 and two Su-27), which launched missiles in the direction of the settlements of Rabotino, Nesteryanka, and Verbovoye (10 km southwest and 18 km southeast of the settlement Orekhov.
In battles, the enemy had no success and suffered significant losses. Interrogations of prisoners testify that in some assault groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in this direction, there are cases of military personnel refusing to continue offensive operations. In many units, the personnel express dissatisfaction with the decisions of the command staff and experience a shortage of weapons and military equipment necessary for the offensive.
However, the intensification of hostilities with the enemy is expected soon. To strengthen the grouping of troops and prepare
to conduct offensive operations, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine organized the transfer of a large number of armored vehicles through the settlement of Belogorye (16 km southeast of the settlement of Orekhov) to the line of contact, as well as additional units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the settlement of Kirovo (12 km north-west of the settlement of Orekhov). The enemy is also trying to create vulnerabilities in Ru defenses and the location of artillery and military equipment of the Russian Army. For this purpose, the Armed Forces of Ukraine used the Bayraktar UAV and several dozen reconnaissance "wings" of the RQ-35 type Heidran, Leleka-100, and Fury.
Some of these UAVs were lost as a result of external fire impact on them by advanced units of the Russian troops and delivered for analysis and repair to our Combat Training Center for evaluation

Orekhovskoe direction
After a short break, the Armed Forces of Ukraine again tried to break through to the village of Rabotino, but again suffered losses. The ground forces of Ukraine have not yet changed their tactics - they continue to pull up reserves and conduct “meat assaults”. People are not protected, and equipment, on the contrary, is used to a limited extent. Artillery of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is actively throwing at the enemy in the area of Novodanilovka and places of accumulation of equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine south of Malaya Tokmachka.
South-Donetsk direction
In the areas of Priyutnoye, Urozhaynoye, and west of Staromayorsky on the Vremevsky ledge, the Armed Forces of Ukraine began to build up forces after a series of unsuccessful attacks. All the reserves that are in this direction are used. The tactics are generally similar to those in Zaporizhzhya - the technique is used to a limited extent, and "meat assaults" are carried out almost every day. The human losses are enormous.
On the northern and western approaches to the Staromayorsky Armed Forces, they are trying to gain a foothold and create conditions for further advancement, just like in Pyatikhatki. The tactical situation is approximately the same: as soon as the enemy tries to accumulate forces, the artillery of the RF Armed Forces begins to work.
Svatovo - Kremennaya
On the Svatovsky sector, the RF Armed Forces are advancing on a broad front of about 10 km from Novovodyanoe to Sergeevka. The advance was several kilometers, the key supporters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were taken, and many prisoners were taken. To the south of Kremennaya, fighting continues in Serebryansky forestry, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have difficulties with the transfer of reserves, and some units are withdrawn from neighboring fronts to plug holes in the defense.

⚡️ What is known about the attack on the SBU building in Dnipro
• The left wing of the building of the SBU administration in the Dnepropetrovsk region was partially destroyed. Judging by the nature of the arrival, a buried object or room located in the left wing was assigned to defeat, presumably.

Russian Defence Ministry report on the progress of the special military operation (29 July 2023) Part I
▫️On the evening of 28 July, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched a precision-guided weapons strike on an AFU control point in Dnepropetrovsk.
▫️The assigned target has been neutralised. The goal of the attack has been reached.
▫️The AFU continued unsuccessful attempts at offensive actions in South Donetsk, Krasny Liman and Donetsk directions.
▫️In Donetsk direction, as a result of actions of the defending units in close cooperation with artillery of the Yug Group of Forces, 5 enemy attacks have been successfully repelled close to Belogorovka, Avdeevka, Pervomayskoye and Krasnogorovka DPR.
▫️AFU manpower and hardware have been hit close to Vesyoloye, Bogdanovka, Kleshcheevka, Dyleevka, and Novgorodskoye DPR.
▫️The enemy losses were up to 120 servicemen, 3 AFVs, 2 motor vehicles, as well as 1 Msta-B howitzer.
▫️In South Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions, as a result of actions by artillery of the Vostok Group of Forces, enemy manpower and hardware concentration areas have been hit close to Zolotaya Niva and Makarovka DPR, Novoandreevka, Shcherbaki and Kamenskoye (Zaporozhye).
▫️The units of the 36th Combined-Arms Army and Airborne Troops successfully repelled 2 enemy attacks near Staromayorskoye and Urozhaynoye DPR. During the fighting, the enemy lost up to 70 servicemen, 1 tank, 1 IFV, and 2 pickup trucks.
▫️1 ammunition depot of the enemy 44th Artillery Brigade has been destroyed near Maryanovka (Zaporozhye).
▫️The enemy losses were up to 135 servicemen, 2 tanks, 3 AFVs, 3 motor vehicles, and 1 D-20 howitzer.
▫️In Krasny Liman direction, as a result of the advance of assault detachments of the 42nd and 43rd mechanised brigades of the AFU, which was revealed by the reconnaissance of the Tsentr Group of Forces, the AFU troops were preemptively hit. Two enemy attacks have been repelled near Raigorodka LPR and Serebryansky forestry.
▫️8 AFU manpower and hardware concentration areas have been hit close to Novogorovka, Nevskoye and Chervonaya Dibrova LPR, Torskoye, and Grigorovka DPR.
▫️The enemy losses were up to 170 servicemen, 3 AFVs, 2 motor vehicles, 1 Akatsiya self-propelled artillery system, and 1 D-20 howitzer.

At the moment, heavy rains are falling on the entire Zaporizhzhya Front, which limits the possibility of conducting hostilities. Nevertheless, they do not plan to abandon the offensive plans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
🔻To the north-east of Urozhaynoye, the enemy concentrated five groups of the Yug MTR center and a reconnaissance company of the 38th detachment with Switchblade kamikaze drones and electronic warfare stations. Near Zolotaya Niva there are four assault groups of the 503rd battalion of the 38th marine infantry brigade. These forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are expected to be used in the attack on Urozhaynoye.
🔻Ukrainian formations are also preparing to strike in the direction of Priyutnoye and the heights near Staromayorsky with the forces of the 88th battalion of the 35th marine infantry brigade and the 501st battalion of the 36th marine infantry brigade. To support them, up to 120 members of the 1st rifle battalion of the 1st tank brigade arrived in the area of the village of Komar with three mortars and five anti-tank systems.
To the west of Staromayorskoye, a group of infantry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, numbering 10 people, launched an attack on the positions of the RF Armed Forces. For the enemy, it ended sadly: as a result of a small-arms battle, he lost six people killed and retreated to the starting line.
As part of the counter-battery fight, Russian troops covered the enemy crew of the 2B11 mortar northeast of Urozhaynoye, and also identified and destroyed the accumulation of manpower south of Bolshaya Novoselka. The total losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in people amounted to 37 people.
❗️In general, the enemy’s plan remains the same: as weather conditions improve, try to break through the Russian defenses near Urozhaynoye and Priyutnoye for the subsequent exit to Staromlynovka and further development of the offensive towards the Sea of Azov.

❗️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Svatovo Sector: offensive of the RF Armed Forces in the direction of the Kharkov region—situation as of 17.00 July 29, 2023.
🔻In the Svatovo sector, the Storm Z assault detachments, together with the fighters of the 21st motorized rifle brigade of the RF Armed Forces, completely liberated the village of Novoegorovka. Now the area is being cleaned up.
Also, Russian units, with the support of cannon and rocket artillery, knocked out enemy formations from the adjacent heights between Novogorovka and Nadia (Nadezhda), leveling the front line.
🔻At the moment, Russian troops have taken positions in the liberated territories, waiting for a counterattack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Specifically, with Novoegorovka, the problem lies in the location of the village of Sverdlovka nearby. And it is there that large enemy forces are concentrated.
Also, to the Karamzinovka Salient, where the Russian military personnel also expanded the zone of control, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are gathering reinforcements: two battalions have been deployed to the Petrovsky direction. And on the Pervomaiskoye-Novosergeevka section, several large-caliber installations were deployed, firing cluster shells at the front line.
Judging by the movements, the Ukrainian command intends not only to recapture the lost positions, but also to move further towards Karmazinovka and Raygorodok, and, in case of success, to carry out a breakthrough to Svatovo, which is what was in the plans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine back in the fall of last year.
