As of the evening of September 1st, fighting continues along the Rabotino-Verbovoye line.
The leadership of the Russian Armed Forces in this region has decided to withdraw from the southern outskirts of Rabotino due to ongoing AFU attacks and the destruction of the village. Holding onto this area has become increasingly difficult. Therefore, the RF Armed Forces have retreated towards the heights to the south of Rabotino. From this position, active artillery and aviation operations are being conducted against the AFU.
This decision is not surprising since maintaining control over the ruins of the village would result in heavy losses, which is currently deemed impractical. Consequently, the Russian Armed Forces have withdrawn to fortified positions slightly to the south, essentially forming a defensive line. Holding Rabotino without control over the southern heights is extremely challenging, and as a result, part of the village remains in a grey zone. Whether counterattacks will occur remains uncertain, and time will reveal the outcome.
In the direction of Verbovoye, fighting has persisted throughout the day. AFU are attempting to advance through the fields but have not yet achieved success and have incurred losses.

And now it's up to the Ukrainians - will they go to the slaughter obediently, like slaves? It is clear that the ideology of "my hut is on the edge" is still working, but everything has its critical level.

Russia is increasing its advantage in tanks and infantry fighting vehicles due to the slowness of the West with supplies, - BILD military observer
The counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has been going on for 13 weeks, during this time, attacking in the south and east, they were able to slightly advance in the DPR and the Zaporozhye region, occupying 12 villages ( actually less ).
Modest successes, rites Julian Röpke, are given at a high price - the loss of personnel and both Ukrainian and NATO equipment. During the counteroffensive, the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost HUNDREDS (!) units of military equipment, including at least 4 Stryker armored personnel carriers, 20 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, up to 15 Leopard tanks, and more than 100 MRAP wheeled armored vehicles.

Russia's losses are also considerable, but the Kremlin is changing its tactics. If at the beginning of this year, the Russian Federation sent old Soviet tanks (for example, T-62) to the front, then in recent months new equipment has been delivered to the front. Now the Russian military industry produces 20 modern T-72B3 and T-90M tanks per month - all of them immediately go to Ukraine.
Also, Russia has begun a large-scale modernization program for old tanks: first of all, the T-72 - about 7,000 of these tanks remain in Russia from Soviet times. Thus, this year the Russian army can count on another 700 new tanks and infantry fighting vehicles.
And the West, writes Ryopke, has not delivered a single modern battle tank to Ukraine in recent months, less than 100 of the 300 promised infantry fighting vehicles have been handed over to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
