In the battle on the Zaporozhye front, the Russian army burned a Leopard 2A4 with Soviet dynamic protection "Contact-1"
Recently, a video appeared where the Armed Forces of Ukraine had previously installed this protection on two dozen German tanks. Many of them have already been destroyed.

German tanks are burning again in Ukraine. This will happen with all the “Leopards”, as it once happened with the “Tigers”. The Ukrainian army of the USA and NATO will be destroyed. The West made a mistake by going to war with Russia in Ukraine.

Via Strana:
Ukraine cannot defeat Russia now, but victory by 2025 is possible with increased Western support, according to retired British General Richard Barrons, who previously commanded the Kingdom's Joint Forces.
"The current Ukrainian counter-offensive will not dislodge Russia - although no one expected it. It is also unlikely to halve the area of occupation before the onset of winter, which could be one of the most optimistic goals," Barrons writes in a column for the Financial Times.
He calls the progress of the AFU in the south "modest" and writes that it is about eight miles (12 kilometers). Before reaching the sea, there was still 55 miles (88 kilometers) left to go through three lines of defense (here, probably, the general indicated the path in a straight line to the nearest point on the Sea of Azov).
In his opinion, there are a number of problems that will not allow us to finish what we started this year.
"Ukraine has enough air defense to cover only about a third of the country's territory. The issue of the shortage of artillery ammunition was only temporarily resolved by the supply of US cluster shells. Ukraine will need until mid-2024 to restore a sufficiently powerful air force, and it is also a lack of key equipment necessary for demining. Fixing all this will postpone the war until at least next year," Barrons said.
Also, in his opinion, Kiev should now conserve reserves. "It would be a disaster to allow what's left of the 10th Corps, Ukraine's idle reserve, to be smashed to pieces on Russian defenses due to hasty deadlines," the general writes.
Therefore, in his opinion, "Kiev should not insist on significant success on the battlefield until the means to achieve it appear."
He proposes four points of Ukrainian tactics for the near future.
1. In cold weather, adhere to the "bite and hold" principle, tying Russian soldiers to the front and acting in "short jumps" to reduce losses.
“If the morale of the Red Army is already bad, make it even worse,” he said (note that the Red Army was called during the Second World War, when Britain was an ally of the USSR).
2. Ukraine should emphasize counter-battery warfare and destroy Russian military capabilities "faster than they can be replaced, making them unable to withstand a stronger future Ukrainian offensive."
Including Kiev "must use its ingenuity and courage to deliver a decisive blow beyond its borders."
3. The Russian Black Sea Fleet "should be neutralized as the engine of Moscow's devastating cruise missile strikes and as a key obstacle to grain exports."
"Ukrainian missile strikes and the rapidly expanding capability of maritime drones could damage Russian ships faster than they can be replaced. By spring 2024, the Black Sea Fleet should not play a significant role in this war," the general said.
4. Barrons suggests that the West will start boosting supplies of ammunition by mid-2024, and "this should be a major turning point in Kiev's offensive capabilities."
In his opinion, Ukraine's victory "will take longer and will cost more than we hoped."
"The West must now commit to a tougher campaign ahead or doom Ukraine to a fight with no prospect of victory," the general concluded.

Military Watch Magazine: One Sarmat could destroy France
New Russian Sarmat missile system is capable of wiping out an area larger than France or the state of Texas.
Russia is markedly superior to the U.S. in military potential and ground-based strategic missile force capabilities.
The US arsenal of intercontinental ballistic missiles is recognised as the oldest and least advanced in the world. It consists of Minuteman III missiles from the 1970s era.
"Sarmat" has a range of 18,000 kilometres and carries up to 15 independently separating warheads.

What to expect from the talks between Putin and Erdogan in Sochi
Tomorrow, the leaders of Russia and Turkey will meet on the Black Sea coast. The range of topics for conversation can be extensive, from the aggravation in Syria to the more active use of national currencies, but the main one is a new format for restarting the grain deal.
A personal meeting at the level of presidents indicates the presence of preliminary agreements and judging by the chosen place, Russia will be persuaded rather than frightened.
Earlier, talks were held between Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on September 1 in Moscow. At it, the representative of Russia once again announced the conditions for the resumption of the grain deal. This is the fulfillment of all the promises originally given to Moscow: reconnection of Rosselkhozbank to SWIFT; resumption of supplies of agricultural machinery, spare parts, and service in the Russian Federation; abolition of restrictions on insurance and reinsurance of Russian grain ships and removal of the ban on their access to ports; unblocking the assets and accounts of Russian companies associated with the production and transportation of food and fertilizers.
Since the Western partners did not fulfill their part of the agreements at the first attempt, a new deal can be concluded directly between Turkey and Russia. It is quite possible that Ankara, being one of the key beneficiaries of the "Black Sea Corridor", will become its guarantor and direct operator. In the face of serious economic and political problems, Erdogan will do his best to maintain a source of additional finance and influence.
Communication between Turkey and Russia, bypassing the West, the latter will not greatly please, but it is unlikely to interfere either. Rather, he hopes again to participate through a chain of intermediaries. Ukraine is demanding more and more cash injections, debts on loans are growing, and selling grain is one of the few opportunities to get at least a tuft of wool from a lousy pig. However, the terms of the new grain deal may make such an interaction financially unprofitable.

🇺🇦⚔️🇷🇺The enemy is trying to advance near Rabotino and Verbove on the Zaporozhye front
Direction of the main attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: Orekhovsky area.
Today, the enemy has been preparing artillery for several hours and is again throwing infantry into attack on our positions at the Rabotino-Verbovoye line, trying to get to the trenches.
The outskirts of Rabotino are still under our control, the enemy cannot advance while under constant fire.
The enemy is trying to bypass the settlement to the south, here the battles for the forest belt and forest plantation continue.
Verbovoe is under our full control, the battles are taking place in the fields outside the village, Sometimes the attack aircraft of the Armed Forces of Ukraine come to the outskirts, where they are destroyed in fleeting battles.
During the battles between Rabotino and Verbov, the attacks were repelled by Russian troops.
The Russian army continues a series of counterattacks southwest and south of Rabotino and near Verbove, Ukrainian military analysts report.
