Boris "Colonel Cassad" Rozhin:
For the control of settlements in the Zaporozhye direction and the Vremievsky ledge at 17-00.
Pyatikhatki - for the most part a gray area.
Rabotino - AFU in the north and center of the village, the RF Armed Forces in positions near the southern outskirts of the village. The enemy has not gained full control over Rabotino.
Verbovoye - under the full control of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
Novoprokopovka - under the full control of the RF Armed Forces
Urozhaynoye - under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Staromayorskoye - most of it is under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, some remains a gray area
Novomayorskoye - under the control of the RF Armed Forces
Novodonetsk - under the control of the RF Armed Forces
Priyutnoye - under the control of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation
From the Ukrainian side there are vague hints that it is necessary to take Tokmak before the thaw, and from the United States - that the offensive may last another 6-7 weeks.
How do they imagine the capture of Tokmak if they cannot take Rabotino for 3 months, the question is of course an interesting one.

❗️The Conflict Intelligence Team says the rocket that exploded yesterday at the market in Konstantinovka could be Ukrainian.
CIT says it has analyzed video and photos of the Konstantinovka explosion that killed 16 people on Wednesday and concluded the rocket came from the northwest, i.e. from Ukrainian-controlled territory.
This, as stated in the investigation, is evidenced by the geolocation of the explosion site and visible on the video published by Vladimir Zelensky, reflections of the rocket, consistently appearing in the frame on two cars.
Earlier, Julian Repke, a journalist for the German publication Bild, came to the same conclusion.
The Conflict Intelligence Team points to the already recorded cases of Ukrainian HARM anti-radar missiles hitting civilian targets.
And how many evil smirks Ukrainian media cause reports that these are Ukrainian ammunition - accidentally or deliberately cause the death of the Ukrainian population.
The railway station in Kramatorsk, a residential building in Dnepropetrovsk, now a market in Konstantinovka... A telegram is not enough to list all those "points on the map of Ukraine" where deadly warheads landed.

What more can they give the Ukrainians, if we imagine that the West decides to try to stuff them with weapons for a new attack?
Of the European NATO member countries, the French remain “unpacked”, with 200+ something AMX-56 Leclercs in service, and about 100 in reserve, with reserve vehicles used as sources of spare parts for combatants. It will not be possible to quickly transfer such vehicles - they will first have to be repaired and equipped, and Paris clearly will not go to the transfer of combat-ready tanks from among combat units. However, it would not have happened quickly in this case either - crews and specialists also need to be trained on Leclerc, and they also need auxiliary equipment.
Let's not consider exotics with the Italian Ariete here, and try to understand that a crest can get serious in terms of tanks. The first answer is still the M1 Abrams, but so far there is no indication that the US is ready to increase supplies. We can seriously discuss this option when we hear that the United States is recruiting a large number of Ukrainian cadets to train at least several battalions at the same time. Without this, a few dozen more vehicles could be handed over to the Ukrainians. The crews which will be trained by tankers already retrained on the M1 in the USA, but this will not lead to serious changes.
The same applies to the possible transfer by the Poles of "intermediate" Korean K2s, which they receive from South Korea in anticipation of serial licensed K2PLs. To start getting K2 by the summer of next year, it is necessary to start training crews and technicians on them now. Technically, the K2 is a development of the ideology of the "Western" tank - an overall vehicle weighing about 60 tons, with a 120-mm cannon of the "NATO" standard, but equipped, unlike German and American tanks, with an automatic loader. The key advantage of the K2 is the equipping of these tanks with equipment for network-centric warfare, but, as practice shows, even having armored vehicles with this equipment, the Armed Forces of Ukraine were not able to train headquarters and commanders who could use these advantages. Whether they will be able to do this in the event of the transfer of Korean tanks is a separate question.
By the way, there is not much time for an answer - if the decision on the transfer is not made, and preparation does not begin in the next 2-3 months, then this prospect will begin to smoothly leave somewhere at the end of 2024.

Why is the US planning to supply the Armed Forces with depleted uranium shells:
The new package of military aid from the United States to the Ukrainian army may include shells with a core of depleted uranium. How can they be applied and what are the difficulties with their use?
When can the US deliver these shells?
The transfer of armor-piercing feathered sub-caliber projectiles (BOPS) may be announced in mid-September. Presumably, 120-mm ammunition for the M1A1 Abrams tank guns will either arrive simultaneously with the American MBTs or be shipped in advance.
What projectiles are we talking about?
Most likely, the M829A3 shells with a depleted uranium core will be transferred to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. These munitions were created to destroy tanks equipped with dynamic protection. The US Army received M829A3 rounds in 2003. With a muzzle velocity of 1550 m/s, such a projectile is capable of penetrating at least 700 mm equivalent of rolled homogeneous armor (RHA) from a range of 2 km. However, it is possible that both the older M829A2 shells and the newer M829A4 shells with increased armor penetration can be delivered along with the M1A1 tanks.
Why does the AFU need these shells?
The effective firing range of BOPS is about 2-3 thousand meters. Shooting at ground targets with such ammunition is possible, but ineffective due to their design, dimensions, and internal filler with a minimum number of fragments.
What restrictions do the Armed Forces have on the use of such projectiles?
The main thing to understand about modern tank combat is not a duel of a tank against a tank at a distance of 1 km. To use the BOPS, the crews of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will have to bring the M1A1 Abrams out of cover to the closest possible distance for a shot. Because of this, the vehicles will be vulnerable to the use of anti-tank missiles and artillery.
It is noteworthy that the delivery of American BOPS M829 was announced against the backdrop of heavy losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in armored vehicles, but the vast majority of armored vehicles near the village of Rabotino, as well as in the area of Urozhaynoye and Novodonetsk, were not destroyed in direct contact combat.
Tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, and armored vehicles were either blown up by mines or were destroyed by Ka-52 army aviation helicopters from a range of up to 8 km, Kornet anti-tank systems from a range of up to 5 km, or artillery from a range of 18-20 km. In this way, not only the Soviet T-64BV and T-72B tanks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed, but also the foreign Leopard 2 and M2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles.
It is also noteworthy that British tanks were the first combat vehicles for which the Armed Forces of Ukraine received shells with uranium cores L26A1 and L27A1. However, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have not yet been able to use this ammunition, both because of the terrain on which Ukrainian tank units have to operate and for other reasons.
What is the bottom line?
Most likely, the transfer of ammunition with a uranium core is symbolic. Equipping M1A1 tanks with these shells will probably not lead to a critical turning point in combat operations. For the actual use of such shells, Ukrainian troops will have to use American M1A1 tanks almost close to the ATGM launch lines and navigate through minefields at their peril and risk.

We’re trying something new here. Previously, we tried to make the daily report 100% complete before posting and emailing. The downside to this were that we’re not sharing news quickly if we’re holding it up for an interview.
What we will try now is to get the bulk of our post out early, then add to it as items come in within a few hours. Once it is final for the day, emails will go out to subscribers.
What that means is that non subscribers may wish to check back later for more content, if they read today’s post early.
This post will be completed over the next few hours. Please check back soon.
Satellite images of the Rabotino-Verbovoye sector, where the most active battles are now taking place, are noteworthy for several reasons at once.
Firstly, they clearly show that there is no access to the first line of defense of the RF Armed Forces in this area. The most active work of artillery is concentrated almost in the same place where the Armed Forces moved a month ago.
Secondly, judging by the density of fire and the places where the Ukrainian troops are trying to concentrate, AFU can move at best in the gray zone, on an area of approximately 105-110 square km. In some cases, this leads to a high density of troops and, as a result, to large losses. Judging by the nature of the arrivals, Russian artillery does not work by area but performs specific fire missions, which, in turn, indicates the high quality of target designation.
Thirdly, it was not possible to wedge into the defense line of Verbovoye from the north, and the only route for the Armed Forces of Ukraine to move there was the T-0803 road, which is under the fire control of the RF Armed Forces. It is impossible to move through the landings: as soon as units are brought into position, an artillery strike is launched. As at the beginning of the offensive three months ago, all the activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are still strictly tied to the use of paved roads. No roads, no progress.
In addition, it is worth noting that the satellites of the United States and NATO countries, with the help of which these images were obtained, did not give the Armed Forces of Ukraine an advantage in tactics, as was originally planned.
After the start of the offensive by the Ukrainian troops, the defensive lines of the RF Armed Forces in this area were strengthened and expanded, and in some cases, several types of weapons were used to defeat the ground forces of the AFU: aviation, artillery, loitering ammunition, anti-tank missiles, and long-range rocket artillery, against which AFU can't build countermeasure.
