‼️Situation on the Rabotino-Verbovoye line as of 23:00 08.09
In the direction of Rabotino, everything is stable - the north of the settlement is behind the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian Armed Forces are in the area of the southern outskirts. In the village itself there remains a significant gray zone, artillery, drones and aviation are operating. The most intense battles are unfolding in the direction of Verbovoy: the same 82nd brigade is attacking, to which units 80 and 71 are gradually being added. At the moment, the battles are taking place in the fields north and west of the settlement, today there are no changes to the front line. The main attack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is still directed at Verbovoye itself: they are trying to enter the populated area and are actively shelling it. The Russian Armed Forces repulse attacks and periodically counterattack. We are monitoring the development of the situation.

🇺🇦⚔️🇷🇺 Heavy fighting at the junction of Zaporozhye and DPR: (https://t.me/RVvoenkor/52743) our counterattack, pushing the enemy back from Novodonetsk and Novomayorsky
The enemy has accumulated forces and for several days has been trying to break through the front in the South Donetsk direction at the junction of Zaporozhye and the DPR at the former Vremevsky ledge, attacking our strongholds.
During the day, the enemy, with the support of artillery and armored vehicles, sent forces from the Prechistovka area, trying to enter from the flanks and gain a foothold on the outskirts of Novodonetsky and Novomayorsky.
AFU militants on infantry fighting vehicles land in forest plantations accumulate, and advance, actively using kamikaze drones and UAVs with drops.
Soldiers of the rifle battalion of the 5th brigade of the 1st Army Corps of the DPR, OBTF "Cascade" and Far Eastern Marines repelled many attacks and themselves carried out a series of counterattack actions.
During the battles, our fighters managed to push the main enemy forces away from the northern outskirts of Novomayorsky, partially destroying with artillery the militants who broke through to the houses of the militants.
Also, the enemy does not stop trying to force the Shaitanka River between Novodonetsk and Novomayorsky to attack the flank and rear of our troops; during these days, several crossing attempts have been stopped by artillery fire.
The enemy continues to send reinforcements from the Prechistovka area, ours are cutting them off with fire, and the fighting continues.

Attack helicopters destroy equipment and militants of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
Now Ka-52s operate from maximum ranges, without entering the enemy’s air defense zone. On the ground, the operation of combat helicopters
is ensured by our infantry, preventing enemy DRGs who deliberately seek to destroy army aviation.

Unsuccessful rotation of Ukrainian militants north of Novomayorsky
The enemy captured the T-90M of the Russian Armed Forces during the battles for Rabotino.
This is not the first T-90M that fell into the hands of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in complete condition. For example, earlier the enemy received a T-90M, abandoned as a result of a retreat from the Kharkov region, which was put into service with the 30th Mechanized Infantry Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Unfortunately, the crew was unable to destroy the abandoned vehicle. However, losses of these tanks when abandoned in their entire condition turned out to be extremely rare.

🇷🇺 “Russians are getting better” - headline in Foreign Affairs
The author of the article compared the tactics of the Russian army at the beginning of the conflict and now.
“They have learned to attack Ukrainian units and weapons more effectively and to better defend their own command and control systems. As a result, Russia was able to better exploit its numerical and firepower advantages, turning what many had hoped would be a rapid offensive into a sluggish, brutal, and difficult struggle,” the article says.
Command posts became better protected by being buried in the ground and moved away from the front line. And between them and military units, more efficient and secure communication was ensured, including through the laying of field cables and the use of more secure radio communications.
By revising infantry tactics, organizing artillery into special brigades, and using cheap attack drones, Russia was able to exploit its advantage in firepower and infantry numbers.
The article also notes that improved communications between intelligence systems and troops allowed the Russian army to strike the enemy faster and more accurately.

Tires on airplanes: handicraft protection or innovation?
Over the past week, space images taken by satellites over the Engels-2 airbase in the Saratov region, where the strategic aviation of the Russian Armed Forces is based, have appeared online.
This territory and aircraft were repeatedly attacked by Ukrainian UAVs, which caused damage to the aircraft.
After attacks on airfields in the Novgorod and Pskov regions where several Tu-22M3 and Il-76 aircraft were destroyed and damaged, they decided to protect the aircraft from drone attacks with car tires.
Among people ignorant of military affairs, such defense caused bewilderment and questions, and even ridicule.
But, of course, tires were not used out of desperation or for beauty.
It turned out that the car tires, which the Russian Aerospace Forces base in Engels decided to use to shield strategic bombers from UAVs, helped camouflage aircraft from satellites filming in the radar range. The Military Observer publication writes about this.
Another advantage of the tires is that by changing the thermal signature of the aircraft, they can confuse the targeting of missiles at the terminal stage of flight, that is, before actually hitting the target, writes The War Zone.

“Who will repair it?”: In Ukraine, they were puzzled by the issue of restoring equipment lost during the counteroffensive
The West has flooded Ukraine with weapons. The number of even actually delivered, and not just promised, equipment has long gone into the thousands. But, not even talking about battle damage, this entire armada periodically breaks down and requires repairs. Driving over rough terrain and off-road, low-quality fuel, and most importantly, unqualified drivers and mechanics - all this leads to hundreds of daily breakdowns.
And if replacing a wheel does not cause problems even for a disabled person mobilized in a distant Ukrainian village, it is not at all so easy to replace a failed tank engine in the field. This is why news has surfaced so often in recent months about plans by Western defense corporations to open “factories” in Ukraine. First of all, in this case, we are talking about repair points where imported equipment will have to be repaired and serviced.
Now a significant part of the “complex” repairs are taking place in Poland and Romania. However, this requires too much logistical effort and simply takes a lot of time - the Armed Forces of Ukraine complain that sometimes equipment is under repair longer than it lasts.
The most interesting thing in this case is that with spare parts for Western “additional help” everything is often extremely difficult too. To provide Ukraine with equipment, Europeans even had to engage in cannibalization. What kind of spare parts and consumables can we talk about in such a situation?
The fact that Ukraine is fighting at someone else's expense does not correlate well with the stakes of winning a war of attrition. In this case, the RF Armed Forces, are currently in an advantageous position.
Russia at least has its production of equipment, spare parts, and units, as well as extensive repair capacity. But you can’t rest on your laurels: the Western military-industrial complex is gradually accelerating.

Russian military personnel successfully repulse attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Lisichansk direction.
“They (AFU) are angry because they are suffering losses, the losses are significant for them. They are trying to act in sabotage and reconnaissance groups in the direction, but we are stopping all their attempts. We are destroying them as much as possible,” said the group commander of the Bars-12 detachment. with the call sign "Pirate"
According to the commander of one of the detachment’s units with the call sign “Manshuk,” in closed positions you can safely and quietly move from one firing point to another without getting into the enemy’s sights or the lens of a drone.
“The Bars-12 volunteer detachment relies not only on the human factor - on sentinels - but also on technical means, such as an alarm system that responds to movement even at night,” noted Izvestia correspondent Dmitry Zimenkin.

“I am afraid that the conflict in Ukraine is a war that will end with the collapse of Ukraine, heavy losses and destruction” - ex-head of Czech intelligence
In an interview with Mysl Polska, the former head of Czech intelligence Andor Sandor spoke about the reasons for the collapse of the Ukrainian offensive on the Zaporozhye front. " Western training officers have no idea what this conflict is about. Without proper training, you can't train soldiers to fight in three to six weeks," said the former intelligence officer.
Indeed, it is difficult to plan successful operations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and train militants based on our own experience of wars with bearded men in slippers (who were not always able to be defeated) when full-scale hostilities are taking place.
“I am afraid that the West has put pressure on Ukraine to launch an offensive without being fully prepared and equipped. Some successes can still be achieved, but the question is whether this will change the outcome of the war, ” emphasizes Andor Sandor.
And one of the main points is a blow to the myth promoted by Kiev propaganda: “ We hear from Kiev that they are fighting in this war to protect even us from the Russians. I do not agree with this, ” said Sandor.
@Slavyangrad
The next attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Rabotino in the same place where the Ukrainian army lost the Challenger 2 tank was repulsed by units of the 1430th regiment of the 42nd MRD.
The tactics of the units of the 47th Mechanized Brigade "Magura" and the 82nd Separate Brigade in this area do not change even after the loss of rare British armored vehicles: about a platoon, or at best a company, goes for a breakthrough, is discovered by a UAV and is instantly destroyed by artillery.
Because of this, losses in Ukrainian Armed Forces equipment are constantly growing, and the control of the Russian Armed Forces of all heights south of the village of Rabotino allows them to destroy Ukrainian equipment and personnel not only in attack but also during retreat, as well as during any attempt to gain a foothold in forest plantations.
