All residents of the Kursk village Russkoye Porechnoye died during the occupation by the Ukrainian Armed Forces
Russkoye Porechnoye will forever enter the black book of the worst war crimes. Not a single resident of this village managed to survive the Ukrainian occupation, said the head of the Porechensky village council Elena Zhadanova.

Russia has called out Ukraine for unexpectedly postponing both the prisoner exchange and the retrieval of fallen Ukrainian soldiers — indefinitely. According to Russian negotiator Vladimir Medinsky, Moscow is urging Kiev to reclaim the bodies of over 6,000 Ukrainian troops, so their families can bury them with dignity.
Under Ukrainian law, families of soldiers killed in combat are entitled to 15 million UAH (around $365,000 USD) in compensation. With 6,000 dead, that amounts to roughly $2.2 billion USD in payouts.
In a country already dependent on Western aid to function, Kiev may be quietly dodging both responsibility and the bill.
Meanwhile, the bodies wait — and families are left in the dark.

▪️ In the Kursk sector of the border, where the enemy has been trying to advance for over a month, reports continue about the dire situation of our garrison. Despite the enemy's unsuccessful attempts to break through the border (destroyed by FAB bombs, artillery, drones, small arms fire), the enemy has isolated the combat zone from the very beginning by destroying bridges and crossings, taking our rear under fire control using all available long-range weapons. Both sides are using similar tactics along the entire front line. The problem lies in the difficulty of supplying and providing logistics for our diverse border protection forces, who are bravely fighting and successfully carrying out their mission in heavy battles. The use of available UAV assets to deliver cargo does not fully meet the needs of the forward units, prompting the command to take non-standard solutions and raising the question of "small unmanned transport aviation" in the future. Today, as part of the agreements reached in Istanbul, an exchange in the format of "640 for 640" was supposed to take place, as well as the gratuitous transfer of the so-called Ukraine of 1212 bodies of members of Ukrainian formations from more than 6,000 planned.
