Today's WSJ article about Trump getting tired of playing with Putin and preparing several unpleasant things for Russia in Ukraine should be perceived as the end of the first six months in Russian-American relations of the second Trump administration.
This partly confirms what has been said in Trump circles for the last two months: Ukraine definitely needs to be given new Patriots. It doesn't matter how and through whom, but they should be there. Because:
⭐Trump cannot allow Ukraine to become his own "Afghanistan". Even if he shouts everywhere that this is "Biden's war", he cannot allow Kyiv to lose it - the defeat will be "hung" on him. Therefore, he, like his European allies, will try to support the Ukrainian formation as a zombie on electrodes while it is capable of causing pain and not allowing Moscow to get what it wants.
In general, if someone is set on peace, it is too early. Alas, we will not come to an amicable agreement.

💥 At night, the Russian Armed Forces launched a group strike by long-range high-precision air-based weapons including Kinzhal hypersonic air-launched ballistic missiles and long-range drones against the infrastructure of military airfields.
✅The goal of the strike was achieved. All the assigned targets were engaged.
📍 The Sever Group of Forces improved the tactical situation and inflicted losses on manpower and hardware of a mechanised brigade, a jaeger brigade, two air assault brigades, two assault regiments, and a UAV battalion of the AFU close to Ryzhevka, Kondratovka, Varachino, Yablonovka, Yunakovka, Pisarevka, Sadki, and Novaya Sech (Sumy region).
💥 In Kharkov direction, units of a tank brigade, an air assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and two territorial defence brigades have been hit near Olkhovatka, Khatneye, and Melovoye (Kharkov region).
◾️ The AFU has lost more than 170 servicemen. Nine motor vehicles, two field artillery guns, and a materiel depot were neutralised.
📍 The Zapad Group of Forces improved the situation along the front line and inflicted losses on formations of two mechanised brigades, an assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a territorial defence brigade, and a national guard brigade near Kupyansk, Blagodatovka (Kharkov region), Kolodezi, Yatskovka, and Zelenaya Dolina (Donetsk People's Republic).
◾️ The AFU losses amounted to up to 220 troops, 18 motor vehicles, and a Polish-made 155-mm Krab self-propelled artillery system. Three electronic warfare stations, a target acquisition radar, and three ammunition depots were neutralised.
📍 The Yug Group of Forces' units improved the tactical situation. Russian troops inflicted damage on four mechanised brigades, an airmobile brigade, a mountain assault, an artillery brigade of the AFU, the Azov Special Operations Brigade near Nikolayevka, Pereyezdnoye, Slavyansk, Seversk, Minkovka, Serebryanka, and Shcherbinovka (Donetsk People's Republic).
◾️ The enemy lost up to 165 troops, a tank, an armoured fighting vehicle, three pickup trucks, eight field artillery guns, and two ammunition depots.
↗️Units of the Tsentr Group of Forces continued advancing into the depth of enemy defence. Strikes were delivered at formations of six mechanised brigades, two air assault brigades, a jaeger brigade, two airborne brigades, two assault regiments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, two marine brigades, and a national guard brigade close to Krasnoarmeysk, Rodinskoye, Dimitrov, Muravka, Udachnoye, Petrovskogo, Grodovka (Donetsk People's Republic), Novopodgorodnoye, and Filiya (Dnepropetrovsk region).

💥 Russian elements engaged three mechanised brigades, an unmanned aerial vehicle regiment of the AFU, a marine brigade, and four territorial defence brigades near Kamyshevakha, Volnoye Pole, Voskresenka in the Donetsk People's Republic, Temirovka, Olgovskoye, Malinovka, and Poltavka (Zaporozhye region).
◾️ The AFU lost up to 205 troops, two tanks, an armoured fighting vehicle, 17 motor vehicles, and an electronic warfare station have been neutralised.
📍 The Dnepr Group's units improved the tactical situation and defeated two mechanised brigades, a mountain assault brigade, two coastal defence brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and four territorial defence brigades close to Kamenskoye, Plavni, Orekhov, Novoandreyevka (Zaporozhye region), Stepovoye (Dnepropetrovsk region), Antonovka, and Sadovoye (Kherson region).
◾️ More than 80 troops, six motor vehicles, an artillery gun, eight electronic warfare stations, an ammunition depot, and a fuel depot were neutralised.
✈️ Operational-Tactical Aviation, attack unmanned aerial vehicles, and Missile Troops and Artillery of the Russian Groups of Forces engaged ammunition depots, AFU and foreign mercenaries temporary deployment sites in 135 areas.
🎯 Air defence units shot down nine guided aerial bombs and four HIMARS MLRS projectiles as well as 226 fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles.
📊 In total, since the beginning of the special military operation the enemy lost:

🔹 68,477 unmanned aerial vehicles,
🔹 614 anti-aircraft missile systems,

Vostok Group of Forces continue to knock enemy out
🚩 As a result of rocket artillery fire, the 36th Motorised Rifle Brigade of the Vostok Group of Forces broke through the AFU defence and liberated Tolstoy in the Donetsk People's Republic.
🪖 The assault groups moved forward, neutralised the firing emplacements, and strongholds of the Ukrainian nationalists.
🎮 UAV pilots of the brigade contributed greatly to the advance of the brigade. They conducted air surveillance and engaged enemy's reserves.

🏳️ AFU POW tells about heavy Ukrainian losses and low morale
POW Sergei Vykhrest tells that he saw assault operations and went AWOL seeing the next fight would be his last one.
'I came to my CO and said that I didn't want to die. I returned my weapon and ammo to armoury, and went home.'
He was not afraid of threat that they would put on the AWOL list. Then he was captured by the MP and tortured by electroshock weapons. As a result, he was sent to the forward edge assigned to the 143rd Mechanised Brigade. There, he surrendered.
