Two Majors #Summary as of the morning of July 16, 2025
▪️ Massive strikes by our UAVs at night hit Kharkov, Krivoy Rog, Izmail in the Odessa region. Explosions were also heard in Vinnitsa, Uman in the Cherkasy region, and in the evening footage from Odessa showed a likely hit on the enemy's air defense system. It is noted that footage with “Geraniums” increasingly lacks the operation of the AFU' air defense, indicating depletion of the enemy's corresponding means. At the same time, the effect of simultaneous use of entire “swarms” of our strike drones to break through enemy anti-aircraft fire is increasing.
▪️ In the Bryansk region yesterday, the AFU attacked the village of Sluchevsk in the Pogarsky district with kamikaze drones, injuring a civilian.
▪️ On the Kursk section of the border, the AFU continue attempts to break into our territory in the Tyotkinsky and Glushkovsky directions. The enemy once again tried to break into our border settlement Novy Put. Meanwhile, against Tyotkino, in Ryzhevka, the Northern Group of Forces reports successful offensive actions by the Russian Armed Forces, with five more buildings cleared on the northern outskirts of the village. Additionally, our airborne units advanced in forested areas near Bessalovka during fierce fighting.
▪️ In the Sumy direction, the AFU command is deploying new special units into battle; near Alekseevka, a special unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate called “Rhinos Group,” which had not previously participated in combat, was recorded. Four counterattacks were repelled in the areas of the villages Sadki and Zapselye, as well as near Yablonovka. Our forces are storming Yunakovka and Varachino. Heavy fighting is ongoing.
▪️ From the border of the Kharkov and Belgorod regions, reports indicate the advance of our troops towards the settlements of Ambarnoe and Khatne from the recently liberated Melovoe.
▪️ Yesterday, from the Belgorod region, there were reports of a sharp increase in enemy strikes on the civilian population. The AFU struck the courthouse building in Belgorod three times using drones, injuring a woman. In the village of Maysky in the Belgorod district, a civilian was injured as a result of a drone attack on a private house. In Shebekino, an enemy drone attacked a social facility, injuring an employee. Yasnye Zori, Veselaya Lopan, Razumnoe, Murom, Arkhangelskoye, Malomikhaylovka, Novaya Tavolzhanka, and on the Cheremoshnoye–Nikolskoye road, an FPV drone struck a vehicle.
▪️ In the Konstantinovka direction, the enemy acknowledges our advance in Novospasskoye, where our flag was raised yesterday.
▪️ On the Pokrovsk (Krasnoarmeysk) direction, Russian forces are attacking in the areas of Novotoretskoye, Fyodorovka, and west of Razino. Fighting is ongoing along the Novosergeevka–Udachnoye line.
▪️ On the South Donetsk direction, the “Vostok” Group of Forces liberated the settlement of Voskresenka in the Donetsk People's Republic. This is the sixth settlement liberated by Far Eastern warriors in July.
▪️ On the Zaporozhye front, active combat is taking place near the liberated Kamenskoye. Frontline fighters ask for a little patience regarding details.
▪️ In the Kherson direction, in the village of Staraya Zburyevka, a woman was injured by an AFU strike; fires continue to break out in forested areas due to shelling. The enemy shelled Alyoshki, Velikaya Lepetikha, Gornostayevka, Dnepryany, Zavodovka, Kairy, Kakhovka, Lyubimovka, Novaya Kakhovka, and Novaya Mayachka.
▪️ In the Black Sea yesterday, near Sevastopol and western Crimea, flights of the US Air Force electronic reconnaissance aircraft RC-135V and reconnaissance plane U-2S were noted over international waters.

South Donetsk direction, the "Vostok" [East] task force liberated the settlement of Novokhatske, @voin_dv:
Guardsmen of the 36th Motor Rifle Brigade of the 29th Army liberated the village of Novokhatske.
Having started the breakthrough with the liberation of the settlement of Zaporizhzhia (DPR), the Transbaikalians did not slow down, defeated the enemy in Yalta, Perebudova, Chervona Zirka (Krasnaya Zvezda), Poddubnoye, Tolstoje, and now in Novokhatske.
During the liberation of the settlement, about 100 structures were cleared of enemy presence, and together with the adjacent forest belts, the advance of the "Vostok" [East] grouping of troops exceeded 6 square kilometers. During the fighting, up to a company of enemy manpower was destroyed. Zabaikalye warriors hoisted Russian flags in various parts of the village. The Far Easterners are not stopping and are moving further west.

On the outskirts of the city of Shostka, Sumy region of Ukraine, rotation of AFU servicemen took place over the past day. Our "Tornado-S" MLRS calculation decided to speed up the process, as a result of which the following were destroyed:

⚡️Frontline Summary
Kursk region, Glushkovsky district, village of Novyi Put.
The operational-combat situation is stably tense, controlled. The enemy does not abandon attempts to expand the zone of presence in the area of the village of Novyi Put - trying to reach the asphalt road "Volfino-Vesyoloye-Glushkovo" and establish a foothold. All attempts by the Armed Forces of Ukraine remain unsuccessful. The enemy's tactics are unchanged - they move in small groups of 2-3 people, digging into "burrows". Fire is constantly inflicted on the enemy by our UAV operators, as well as by tube artillery and mortars. Despite heavy losses in manpower, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with enviable persistence, sends new infantry groups to slaughter. Lately, mercenaries are increasingly encountered - negroes, Colombians. Artillery works on both sides, high UAV activity is recorded, and aviation is also active.

On July 15th, the
North troop group continued establishing a Sanitary Zone in Kharkiv and Sumy regions
The AFU command keeps on trying to break through to our territory in Tyotkino and Glushkovo directions. The Northmen hold off all the attacks and advance into Ukrainian territory.
▪️Our Motor Rifle units keep on advancing in Ryzhivka, having captured five buildings on the northern outskirts of the settlement.
▪️Our Air Assault units advanced in wooded areas around Bezsalivka.
▪️The enemy once again attempted to break through to Novy Put. Most of the invaders, belonging to 47th Mechanized Brigade, were eliminated with a comprehensive fire attack, the rest ran back to Pavlivka.
Sumy direction
The AFU command deploys new SpecOps detachments in hopes of regaining lost positions. The Northmen grind down enemy reinforcements and advance towards Sumy.
▪️Our Motor Rifle units and Marines broke stiff enemy resistance and captured several blocks in Varachino.
▪️Our Air Assault units advanced on the southwestern outskirts of Yunakivka and captured several enemy bunkers in the forest belts around the settlement.
▪️The enemy made 3 unsuccessful attempts to counterattack over the last 24 hours in Sadky, Yablunivka and Zapsillia.
Over 30 people took part in the counterattacks. Over half of them were eliminated, 6 were wounded and abandoned on the frontline, the rest ran back.
▪️The AFU command deployed the newly formed ‘Rhinos Group’ MDI Detachment in the vicinity of Oleksiyivka. The detachment has never been used in combat.
Kharkiv direction
The Fearless eliminated several enemy assault groups in Dihtyarne and surrounding forest belts.
In Velykyy Burluk direction, the enemy launched several unsuccessful counterattacks, using freshly transferred reserves. Despite the enemy strengthening, the Northmen continue advancing successfully.
▪️Our assault groups cleared three enemy bunkers in wooded areas around Milove.
▪️Assault groups of 22nd Mechanized Brigade and 425th Assault Regiment attempted to capture our positions in forest belts along the Russian-Ukrainian border. Most of the enemy soldiers were eliminated, the rest abandoned their dead and ran.
In Volchansk and Liptsy directions twelve AFU assault groups, along with their vehicles, were eliminated with comprehensive fire attacks.
▪️The Northmen continue successfully advancing in Volchansk and surrounding wooded areas. 17 buildings in the city have been cleared of enemy soldiers. The Fearless advanced over 1900 meters in surrounding forest areas.
Assault groups of 57th Mechanized Brigade once again attempted to counterattack in the wooded areas west of Volchansk. The group was eliminated with a comprehensive fire attack.
Over the past 24 hours, the enemy's losses amounted to over 190 people (including over 100 in Sumy region and over 90 in Kharkiv region). Also uncovered and destroyed:
In Tyotkino and Glushkovo directions:

▪️Three pickup trucks;
▪️Two UAV crews;
In Sumy direction:
▪️One M113 APC (USA);
▪️One Kozak IMV;
▪️Five pickup trucks, two ATVs;
▪️Eight UAV crews;
▪️Four airplane-type UAVs, nine heavy copters;
In Velykyy Burluk direction:
▪️Five pickup trucks;
▪️One logistics depot;
▪️Two UAV crews;
In Volchansk and Liptsy directions:
▪️Seven pickup trucks;
▪️One mortar;
▪️Two ammunition depots, four logistics depots;
▪️Five satellite system terminals;
▪️Seven UAV crews;
▪️Four airplane-type UAVs (three Darts, one Leleka-100), eighteen heavy copters.

This is deeply meaningful to me. A close friend - a Russian commander who's been fighting successfully since Day One of the Special Military Operation - sent me this footage. Our FPV drone operator reached Konstantinovka. What happened next was typical of our forces: he identified a target, lined up the strike, but at the last moment realized his mistake - it was a civilian vehicle that might have contained non-combatants. The operator managed to divert the drone at the final second.
Why does this matter so much to me - and I believe to all of us? Because this is what sets us apart from the enemy. This is our truth. We're not at war with civilians. We don't target children, women, or the elderly. While this is just one incident, it perfectly characterizes our Army and our people. I've personally witnessed multiple instances where strikes were aborted due to potential civilian casualties. This is how it should be.
