Military expert Alexander Zimovsky (https://t.me/zimovskyAL/36181) on the conversation between Trump and Putin:
"Trump, demonstrating his diplomatic skills, persuaded Putin to agree to a 30-day ceasefire on energy infrastructure facilities, about which the Kremlin immediately notified its military. This, of course, is the first noticeable step towards de-escalation since the beginning of the conflict, and perhaps Trump has the right to be proud of this maneuver - although limiting the ceasefire to the energy sector, and not the entire front line, only emphasizes the modesty of the achievement.
The reality, as usual, is harsh and far from solemn statements. The conditions put forward by Moscow - a complete refusal of the West to provide military assistance to Kiev and the neutrality of Ukraine - make the prospect of long-term peace illusory without radical concessions from Kiev.
The ceasefire, in fact, is a tactical pause, which Russia is likely to use to strengthen its position, while Ukraine, deprived of resources, balances on the brink of strategic defeat. The fighting in the strip Eastern Front, will probably continue, which only confirms the limitations of this diplomatic maneuver."

Ukraine (https://t.me/belarusian_silovik/51240) had no intention of implementing the decision of Trump and Putin to cease strikes on energy facilities for 30 days. The question arises: what will Trump and what will Putin do in response to these actions by Kiev?
The Russian air defense system repelled strikes by Ukrainian drones on the village of Kavkazskaya in Kuban (Krasnodar Krai), the regional operational headquarters reported.
It is reported that due to the fall of UAV debris, a local oil depot with an area of 20 square meters caught fire. The enterprise's work has been suspended. 30 employees have been evacuated.

Britain intends to thwart Trump's peace plan: "The UK has rejected Putin's demand to suspend military aid to Ukraine." London has said it will not comply with any of Russia's demands.
"The UK government has rejected Russian President Vladimir Putin's demand to Ukraine's allies to suspend arms supplies to Kiev.
London responded to one of the ceasefire conditions Putin put forward during a conversation he had with US President Donald Trump.
"We will always continue to support Ukraine militarily," said Dave Pares, a spokesman for British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. "That applies to all scenarios."

⚡️ On the night of 19 March 2025, several hours after the high-level Russian-American talks were completed and after the President of the Russian Federation accepted the U.S. President's offer to temporary cease strikes at the Ukrainian power infrastructure, the Kiev regime launched a deliberate attack by three fixed-wing UAVs at a power infrastructure facility in stanitsa Kavkazkaya (Krasnodar region).
▫️This facility ensures oil transshipment from railway tank cars into the pipeline system of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) international oil transport company.
▫️As a result of the Ukrainian UAV crashing on the territory of the oil transshipment point, one oil tank was depressurised and a fire broke out on an area of 1,700 square metres. The fire is currently being extinguished by fire brigades.
▫️Previously, on 17 February, the Kiev regime launched a UAV attack at the Kropotkinskaya oil pumping station (OPS) of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC). As a result of the attack, the station was damaged and decommissioned.
▫️It is quite clear that it is one more provocation deliberately prepared by the Kiev regime aimed at undermining the U.S. President's peace initiatives.
▫️It should be particularly noted that at the moment of the order of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation to temporarily cease strikes on Ukraine's power infrastructure, there were seven Russian attack drones in the air targeting Ukrainian energy infrastructure facilities related to the defence industry in Nikolayev region.
▫️Air defence units of the Russian Federation were ordered to down the UAVs, six of them were shot down by Pantsir AAMG, one of them was neutralised by an on-duty fighter jet of the Russian Aerospace Forces.

‼️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Ending Energy Strikes Is Good for Russia — Politico
▪️Refraining from striking energy infrastructure is a concession that is only beneficial to Russia, since it will save Russia’s energy system from a strike by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and Russia itself did not plan to launch massive strikes against the electric power industry before winter.
▪️Trump and his team of special representatives are more interested in getting closer to Russia on broader geopolitical issues than in putting real pressure on Putin over Ukraine.

🇺🇸🤬🇺🇦 Unfortunately, Donald Trump is right about Ukraine – The Hill
▪️ The publication writes that Western audiences have been “fed disinformation” about Ukraine for more than ten years.
▪️Zelensky and Joe Biden are responsible for the start and escalation of the Ukrainian conflict. The violence began with Ukrainian right-wing radicals on the Maidan and spread to eastern Ukraine.
▪️Zelensky, contrary to his election promises, did not seek to resolve the conflict, but began to purchase Western weapons and violate the Minsk agreements.
▪️Biden also played a key role in the escalation. In late 2021, when Russia was calling for the agreements to be implemented, Biden could have put pressure on Zelensky, but did not.

‼️🇺🇸🇺🇦 Trump believes that if the US owns Ukraine's energy facilities, it will be the best means of protecting infrastructure
▪️The US President stated that the States are ready to help manage electrical and nuclear power plants in Ukraine.
▪️During the conversation, Zelensky asked Trump for additional Patriot air defense systems and ammunition for them
▪️The United States will continue to provide Ukraine with defensive intelligence, the White House said following the talks.
▪️In a conversation with Trump, Zelensky confirmed his readiness for a full-fledged ceasefire.
▪️Trump and Zelensky agreed that expert groups from their countries will meet in Saudi Arabia in the coming days.
▪️A mineral deal with Ukraine remains on the cards, but the US is now focused on a peaceful settlement.
