▫️ In accordance with the order of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, due to humanitarian reasons, during the holidays on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, all the Groups of Forces deployed in the special military operation zone continue to strictly observe (https://t.me/mod_russia_en/21183) the ceasefire since 00:00 of 8 May remaining in previously taken positions. The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation respond to the violations of the ceasefire by the AFU in an equal manner.

🪖 The Feniks assault detachment of the Vostok Group of Forces is mastering combat skills at a training ground in the rear area of the special military operation zone.

🎯 Servicemen employ new tactics of assaulting forest belts, fortified positions, and trenches using infantry fighting vehicles, mortars, AGS-17 Plamya automatic grenade launchers, and tanks.

💥 Particular attention was paid to interaction of tank crews with motorised rifle units and suppression of firing points of the mock enemy.

▫️ In accordance with the order of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, all the Groups of Forces deployed in the special military operation zone were strictly observing the ceasefire from 00:00 of 8 May till 00:00 of 11 May remaining in the previously taken positions.

❗️ Despite the announcement of a ceasefire regime, the Ukrainian armed groups carried on combat operations against Russian troops.

▫️ In total, there were 14,043 ceasefire violations.

▫️ The AFU made five attempts to break through the State border of the Russian Federation in Kursk and Belgorod regions, as well as launched 37 attacks and one reconnaissance-in-force in the areas of Pavlovka, Budki (Sumy region), Tetkino (Kursk region), Berezniki (Kharkov region), Novoyegorovka (Lugansk People's Republic), Lipovoye, Redkodub, Dzerzhinsk, Romanovka, Ulyanovka, Novoolenovka, Mirolyubovka, Yelizavetovka, Troitskoye, Veseloye, Alekseyevka, Novoleksandrovka, Kotlyarovka, and Novosergeyevka (Donetsk People's Republic). All the attacks were repelled.

▫️ Along the line of contact, Ukrainian units carried out 4,011 shelling attacks, by tube artillery, tanks, and mortars against Russian positions, including 62 with the use of MLRS projectiles. Moreover, the enemy carried out 9,918 drone strikes and munitions drops.

▫️ From 00:00 of 8 May, Russian air defence units shot down 58 fixed-wing UAVs of the enemy outside the special military operation zone.

▫️ In these conditions, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation responded to the AFU violations of the ceasefire regime and acted in an appropriate manner to repel the criminal assaults launched by the Kiev regime.

❗️ With the end of the ceasefire regime, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continued the special military operation.

💥 Units of the Sever Group of Forces inflicted losses on clusters of manpower and hardware of one mechanised brigade, four assault regiments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and two territorial defence brigades near Ryzhevka, Boyaro-Lezhachi, Ikriskovshchina, Pavlovka, Bessalovka, Volfino, and Belopolye (Sumy region).

▪️The AFU losses amounted to up to 200 troops, five armoured fighting vehicles, eight motor vehicles, and four field artillery guns. One counter-fire radar station and one target acquisition radar were neutralised.

↗️ The Zapad Group's units took more advantageous lines and positions. They inflicted losses on manpower and hardware of two mechanised brigades, one airmobile brigade, one mountain assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and one territorial defence brigade near Kupyansk (Kharkov region) and Redkodub (Donetsk People's Republic).

▪️ The AFU losses amounted to up to 190 troops, one U.S.-made M113 armoured personnel carrier, one armoured fighting vehicle, six pickup trucks, and one artillery gun. A Kvertus electronic warfare station was neutralised.

🔥 Units of the Yug Group of Forces inflicted losses on elements of four mechanised brigades, one assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and one territorial defence brigade near Seversk, Privolye, Dyleyevka, Ivanopolye, Kleban-Byk, Berestok, Pleshcheyevka, and Konstantinovka (Donetsk People's Republic).

▪️ The enemy lost more than 80 troops and four motor vehicles. One electronic warfare station, one radar, and one ammunition depot were neutralised.

📍 The Tsentr Group's units improved the tactical situation and inflicted losses on manpower and hardware of seven mechanised brigades, one assault brigade of the AFU, two marine brigades, and one National Guard brigade near Krasnoarmeysk, Mirolyubovka, Kotlyarovka, Dimitrov, Novaya Poltavka, Yelizavetovka, Alekseyevka, Troitskoye, and Novoolenovka (Donetsk People's Republic).

▪️ The AFU losses amounted to up to 460 troops, two armoured fighting vehicles, two pickup trucks, and two artillery guns.

💥 The Vostok Group of Forces hit manpower and hardware of three mechanised brigades and one jaeger brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Poddubnoye, Shevchenko, Bogatyr, Tolstoy, Karla Marksa (Donetsk People's Republic) and Temirovka (Zaporozhye region).

▪️ The enemy sustained losses of more than 150 troops, one armoured personnel carrier, one armoured fighting vehicle, and one motor vehicle.

💥 Elements of the Dnepr Group inflicted losses on one mechanised brigade and one coastal defence brigade near Kamenskoye (Zaporozhye region), Antonovka (Kherson region), and Kherson.

▪️ Up to 50 troops, four motor vehicles, and one field artillery gun of the enemy were eliminated.

✈️ Operational-tactical aviation, strike drones, missile troops and artillery of the Russian Groups of Forces hit aircraft repair facilities, a depot of uncrewed surface vehicles, ammunition depots, and temporary deployment areas of Ukrainian armed groups and foreign mercenaries in 80 areas.

🎯 In the past 24 hours, air defence systems shot down three U.S.-made JDAM aerial bombs and 143 fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles, with eight of them outside the special military operation zone.

📊 In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, the enemy has lost:

▫️ 662 aircraft,

▫️ 283 helicopters,

▫️ 56,735 unmanned aerial vehicles,

▫️ 605 anti-aircraft missile systems,

▫️ 23,276 tanks and other armoured fighting vehicles,

▫️ 1,561 MLRS combat vehicles,

Russian Defence Ministry holds about 20 international talks with military leadership of CIS, African, Asian and Middle East countries

🌐 Russian Defence Minister Andrei Belousov held a number of bilateral meetings with heads of military departments of Congo, Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger, Nigeria, Libya, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Abkhazia. During the talks, the sides discussed issues of regional security, training of personnel in Russian military universities, joint combat training events.

✈️ In addition, deputy defence ministers of the Russian Federation General of the Army Yunus-Bek Yevkurov and Colonel General Aleksandr Fomin held personal meetings with the leadership of the defence departments of Cuba, India, Myanmar, Laos, Republic of South Africa, Algeria, Republic of Equatorial Guinea, during which they exchanged views on topical issues of cooperation in military and military-technical spheres.

🪖 Servicemen of the 35th Combined Arms Army of the Vostok Group of Forces underwent team training in the rear area of the special military operation zone.

🪖 The training is aimed at enhancing the professionalism and readiness of personnel to ensure successful fulfilment of tasks in difficult conditions of modern warfare.

💥 Conditions of the combat training closely resemble real hostilities. Scenarios of urban warfare are also practised at training grounds: there are destroyed buildings, camouflaged equipment, smokescreens, and mock artillery fire.

🎖 Servicemen of a separate guards airborne formation based in Ussuriysk received state and departmental awards for their courage, bravery, and heroism displayed during the special military operation. Paratroopers were awarded the Orders of Bravery, the medals 'For Bravery', 'For Valour' 2nd Class, 'for Life Saving,' and 'For Military Valour' of 1st and 2nd classes.
