South Korean military analysts believe that two types of operational-tactical systems were delivered to Russia:
▪️KN-23 is an analogue of our Iskander. The missile is capable of delivering a 500-kilogram warhead to a distance of up to 450 km. It rises to a height of up to 50 km and flies along a quasi-ballistic trajectory (that is, it can maneuver), which is why it is a difficult target for all air defense systems. The range can be increased to 690 km by reducing the mass of the warhead.
▪️KN-24 is an analogue of the American MGM-140 ATACMS missiles. It copies the design of an American missile and, apparently, performs a similar role: supporting troops on the battlefield by destroying enemy headquarters, warehouses, army aviation airfields and air defense complexes. And the range of this system is higher: 410 km versus 300 km for the American.
What's in the containers?
About 2 thousand sea containers loaded with ammunition were sent to Russia through the port of Rajin. South Korean intelligence does not know what exactly was inside. But specialists understand the scale of supplies. We are talking about sending approximately 1 million shells. If they contained 122-mm rockets for the Grad system, the Russians received about 200 thousand ammunition.
It is assumed that some of the containers could also be loaded with tank ammunition and shells for T-62 and T-55 tanks.

Considering that Iskander's range can actually reach 2-3 thousand kilometres, this weapon is a real nightmare for the enemy.

Slovakia officially stops arms supplies to Ukraine
On the eve of the negotiations between EU defense ministers, Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico and the head of the country's Ministry of Defense Robert Kaliniak met with the de facto Western decision-making center - NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. In the entire year of 2022, there were 3214 officially registered cases of desertion, 6183 cases of leaving their positions without authorization, and 177 cases of self inflicted gun wounds to avoid taking part in operations.
in 2023, considering only the first 9 months, there were 4638 desertions (45% more), 10940 unauthorized abandonment of positions (77% more) and 161 self inflicted shots (slightly less so far). Statistics come from the General Prosecutor Office.
The reasons speculated by the paper are that the combat is harsher and more dangerous than before, and more forcibly mobilized people being taken to the front. This happens despite increasingly harsh penalties against deserters, who can now get between 5 to 8 years in jail. The newspaper speculated the number of deserters in jail is large enough to form at least one brigade.
It is unclear from the article to what extent surrendering is counting as desertion. One of the individual cases analysed by it refers to a man who left his position and appeared later in a video as a prisoner in Russia. We have no stats about how many prisoners Russia holds but we do note these videos are becoming more frequent, as it was the case in the beginning of the war.
