🔹In #Kherson Direction, the AFU, supported by artillery from the right bank, try to attack towards #Poyma and #Peschanovka villages. Our forces attack the AFU in #Krynki centre. They reinforced the left bank. Ours foiled a 2 boat landing try near Bolshoy Potyomkin Island.
🔹In #Zaporozhye Direction, despite rains the AFU attacked at the #Verbovoye - #Rabotino line, our army held the defence. At #Novoprokopovka, the AFU managed to expand their control zone a bit. Near #Novofyodorovka, after a repulsed suicidal attack, ours retook part of the route section to #Pologi. At #Kopani our fighters also regained part of lost positions.
🔹In #SouthDonetsk direction, at night, our units repulsed enemy attacks near #Staromayorskoye. After lunch, we already counterattacked at this site, as well as at #Urozhaynoye.
Reports coming in that the Russian Army has broken through in the direction of the Khimik train station in Avdeevka, threatening to cut off the AKHZ (Avdeevka Coke (Coal) Chemical Plant) from the residential sector, potentially (if successful) shortening the path to Avdeevka’s encirclement considerably.

The Russian army is advancing at Kleshcheevka, squeezing out the Ukrainian Armed Forces in battles on the southern flank of Artyomovsk
North of Kleshcheevka, Russian troops captured the Kleshcheevka railway station. The enemy's resources confirm this.
Also, the Russian Armed Forces advanced with battles to the key height of the Kleshcheevsky stronghold.

🇺🇸🇺🇦Foreign Affairs writes (https://www.foreignaffairs.com/ukraine/redefining-success-ukraine) that the counter-offensive has “stalled,” even though in 2023 Russia took more territory than Ukraine. The latter has more and more problems: large losses, the economy has collapsed, and the West is increasingly less willing to provide new aid packages for various reasons. At the same time, Russia, on the contrary, produces what it needs itself and buys the rest from Iran and North Korea or through parallel imports. The economy is stable, and Putin confidently controls the levers of power (meaning, there is not even a hint of the Maidan).
Ukraine's ultimate military goals - reaching the 1991 borders - are unrealizable “in the near future or even later” because, in principle, there are no resources for this. Therefore, the United States must lead the process of creating a new strategy for Ukraine - more realistic and not so expensive. The essence of this new strategy is a ceasefire or a complete transition of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the defense and restoration of the country in the rear. The ideal option is negotiations with Russia on a ceasefire because then there is no need to spend money on offensives, and it will be possible to put pressure on the Russians politically. If Moscow does not agree to a ceasefire [and it will not agree - approx. admin], then the defense will save weapons and human resources. In this way, Kiev will make it clear to Russia that it will not be able to outplay itself in a war of attrition and break the will of the West to support Ukraine (that’s exactly the kind of crap that is written there).
In short, it is proposed to freeze the conflict or switch to strategic defense because it is cheaper for the West, and Ukraine’s wishes are unrealistic: the publication says that it is impossible to break through the Russian defense in any way, no matter what the Armed Forces of Ukraine receive from NATO. This is such a shame.

They say that in the first video, one AK is lying next to the MRI machine, and later, two appear in another video.

Slavyangrad editors were briefly intrigued by this front line feature on the South Eastern edge of Avdeevka. To be clear, it's not a hill but a small limestone quarry, 230m x 150m in size.
The ground on the southern side of the quarry is higher than north of it. There is most likely a 1-2 meter high berm around the entire edge of the quarry.
Although the quarry can't really be used as a fortress, it does represent a significant physical obstacle to any approaching forces. AFU defenders will likely use various shaping techniques to make it difficult to skirt around the quarry.

The Czech Foundation has opened a fundraiser for the purchase of an American UH-60A Black Hawk helicopter for the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, as well as for Pinzgauer Vector armored vehicles for the International Legion of Ukraine, subordinate to the Main Intelligence Directorate, where mercenaries from many countries of the world fight.

🔹Yesterday's information about a breakthrough by Russian troops on the southern flank of the #Avdeyevka direction has been fully confirmed. The fighters were able to take positions in the industrial zone near the Yasinuvayta-2 Station, which the AFU had held since 2014 since the so-called "ATO". Now the fighters are expanding the zone of control around the occupied area. On the northern flank there are no particular changes. 🔹Today, the first footage of Russian RBK-500 cluster bombs being used in the #Vremyevka sector near #Staromayorskoye has appeared online. The Russian Aerospace Forces worked off shells on Ukrainian positions in the landings. The use of new types of ammunition can significantly facilitate the work of the RF Armed Forces on the ground.
