▫️ In the period of 3–8 December 2023, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation inflicted 30 group strikes with high-precision weapons and UAVs on the military airfield infrastructure: arsenals, storage sites for artillery ammunition, military hardware, as well as enemy POL bases. ▫️ In Kupyansk direction, units the Zapad Group of Forces have improved the situation along the front line in several sectors and repelled 19 AFU attacks. Aviation, artillery, and heavy flamethrowers hit the manpower and hardware of the 25th Air Assault, 57th Motorised Infantry, 41st, 43rd, and 60th Mechanised Brigades of the AFU close to Sinkovka, Ivanovka, Berestovoye, Peschanoye (Kharkov), and Nevskoye (LPR).

In addition, strikes were delivered at cluster of manpower of the 95th Air Assault, 63rd and 66th Mechanised, and 12th Special Forces brigades of the AFU close to Kirovsk, Torskoye, Yampol, and Serebryanka (DPR).
The enemy losses were more than 1,445 troops, 11 AFVs, 17 motor vehicles, and 5 field artillery guns.
▫️ In Donetsk direction, the Yug Group of Forces inflicted fire damage on AFU manpower and hardware near Mariynka, Kurdyumovka, Bogdanovka, Andreyevka, and Kleshcheyevka (DPR). Over the past week, 18 attacks launched by the AFU have been repelled in this area.
The enemy losses were more than 1,560 servicemen, 12 AFVs, 17 motor vehicles, and 22 field artillery guns.
▫️ In South Donetsk direction, units of the Vostok Group of Forces, aviation, and artillery inflicted losses on manpower and hardware of the 58th Motorised Infantry, 79th Air Assault, 23rd and 72nd Mechanised, and 102nd territorial defence brigades near Novomikhailovka, Ugledar, Urozhaynoye (DPR), and Levadnoye (Zaporozhye).
Over the week, the enemy has suffered losses of more than 845 servicemen, 3 tanks, 13 AFVs, 17 motor vehicles, 12 field artillery guns, as well as one Grad MLRS vehicle.
▫️ In Zaporozhye direction, units of the Russian troops carried out intensive defence, during which they repelled 5 attacks launched by assault groups of the 82nd Air Assault, 117th and 118th Mechanised brigades of the AFU near Verbovoye, Nesteryanka, and Uspenovka (Zaporozhye).
Russian Armed Forces inflicted fire damage on manpower and hardware of AFU's 46th Airmobile, 33rd and 65th Mechanised brigades near Dorozhnyanka, Malaya Tokmachka, and Rabotino (Zaporozhye). The enemy losses amounted to up to 260 servicemen, 6 AFVs, 15 motor vehicles, and 5 field artillery guns.
◽️ In Kherson direction, the enemy's attempts to cross the Dnepr River to land on the left bank and islands were thwarted by complex fire strikes and preventive actions of the Russian Armed Forces. Moreover, aviation and artillery inflicted losses on manpower and hardware of AFU's 35th and 36th Marines, 124th Territorial Defence brigades near Tyaginka, Tokarevka, Nikolskoye, and Chernobayevka (Kherson).
As a result of the combat actions, the enemy losses were up to 350 troops, 13 field artillery guns, 17 motor vehicles, and 21 boats.
▫️ Air defence systems shot down 5 Ukrainian aircraft (3 MiG-29, 2 Su-25) and one Mi-8 helicopter of the Ukrainian Air Force. -Without the liberation of Crimea, Ukraine will never be safe. The occupied territory is the key staging ground and resupply base for Russian operations in southern Ukraine. As a first step, Ukraine must deny Russia the freedom to operate from Crimea.
-The first phase would be to isolate the peninsula. To that end, the West should prioritize arming Ukraine with the weapons that it needs to destroy, or at least incapacitate, the Kerch Bridge.
-The second phase of a Crimea campaign involves making the peninsula’s naval and air bases unusable for Russian forces. This requires urgent and plentiful deliveries of ATACMS, including variants with a unitary warhead and 190-milerange.
-The third phase of a Crimea campaign consists of striking key facilities inside the Russian Federation. Russian forces pushed out of Crimea must be denied safe haven on the other side of the border, where they would otherwise regroup to launch their next attack.

Russian troops are developing success in the Svatovsko-Kremensky sector : fighters are moving from Dibrova towards Terny and Yampolovka . In addition, fighting is taking place near Yar Laptev. However, the pace of progress here is low due to the serious concentration of forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and active opposition. We certainly shouldn’t expect large-scale breakthroughs here in the near future, but tactical advances are not at all ruled out.

Against the backdrop of ongoing intense fighting near Kleshcheevka, we decided to map the main heights in the area that influence the situation.
Please note that the village is dominated not only by height 215.7 (a large stronghold to the northwest), but also by a number of heights to the south and southwest of it (204, 206 and even 230 meters). So, for confident control over the territory, it is necessary to return a number of previously lost positions near the Seversky Donets - Donbass canal (blue stripe on the map) and to the west of Andreevka.
In the event of additional clearing of the territory of the main strong point, where, according to a number of reports, fighting is still ongoing, the Russian Armed Forces will open the way to the surrounding fields and will be able to further develop operations to encircle the village. An attack from Andreevka along the forest plantations to the south also suggests itself.
We will see how successful these plans will be in the near future, but it can already be noted that good prospects have opened up for the site.

Gas reserves in Ukraine are only a third of the winter norm
In August-October, the European Union actively pumped large volumes of gas into Ukrainian storage facilities, but now the pumping has completely stopped. The Kiev junta's reserves for the winter are only 34% of the norm, which should have been enough for a calm winter.
