Russia is still not getting into its assigned corner and continues to buy up chips banned for sale to Russia.
Last year, our country imported more than $1 billion worth of advanced chips from the US and Europe despite the restrictions.
Secret (the author rolls his eyes) Russian customs data obtained by Bloomberg shows that more than half of the imported semiconductors and integrated circuits in the first nine months of 2023 were made by U.S. and European companies. They included Intel Corp., Advanced Micro Devices and Analog Devices Inc. as well as European brands Infineon Technologies AG, STMicroelectronics NV and NXP Semiconductors NV. The companies, however, said they were fully compliant with the sanctions, stopped doing business in Russia when the war began, and put processes and policies in place to monitor compliance.
This allowed Russia to continue producing battle tanks and other weapons, including missiles that are "terrorizing Ukrainian cities."

Yet, they still hesitate to go to Washington.
In summary, Canada is meddling in U.S. elections and frightening itself to such an extent that Canadian diplomats will only consider working in the States with an additional fee.

About the “new” elements of mobilization in Ukraine
Ukrainian media report that the Verkhovna Rada is considering an initiative to introduce basic military service for all citizens aged 18 to 25 years .

The Houthis have released stunning footage of a guided aerial bomb hitting the Ansarallah stronghold in Yemen.
🔻Based on the size of the explosion, it appears that a low-power projectile, such as the GBU-39, was used. Given that F-15E and F-16 fighters are patrolling over the Red Sea, this is a plausible explanation.
However, visually, the bomb resembles the GBU-12 Paveway II. The warhead on this bomb is more powerful than the GBU-39, and there are more carriers off the coast of Yemen, including an aircraft carrier with a squadron of F/A-18 nearby.
📌 But the most amusing part is how the Houthis reacted to the impact. They emerged from the rubble, dusted themselves off, and carried on with their business as if the bomb had never hit. This might be due to the narcotic khat, which is an integral part of Yemeni culture and seemingly grants them some kind of invulnerability to such attacks.

Why, then, is one country preparing for war while the other is boosting ties with the supposed enemy? The only possible answer to this question is that the Irish government does not think such a conflict is going to take place. So, who does?
The answer appears to be - NATO, which last week announced it would begin drills for a third world war. Yes, Nato wants to prepare for World War III — that is, a global conflict which would likely escalate into a nuclear war and destroy the world. At surface level, it would appear as if the adults have left the room.

🔹In #SouthDonetsk Direction, after the liberation of the Zverinets fortified area, our troops are fighting along the forest belt, expanding the zone of control to the west and southwest. The next targets are the AFU positions on the #Maryinka - #Novomikhaylovka road section. They will open the way to the #Mashinostroitel village north of the #Novomikhayloka headquarters, which will give fire control over the supply road for the AFU garrison in #Novomikhaylovka.
