The comical aspect of the entire leak though is how poor the German intelligence services are in general, Martin Jay writes.
Three things hit you about the reported phone tap of German officials discussing destroying the Crimean Bridge. 1. How stupid the Germans are, to think that their pitiful of not plain childish attempts to distance themselves from the war itself is fooling Russia. 2. That Germany believes that isolated but significant attacks on Russian military infrastructure would be a decisive turning point in the war which not even NATO bosses can deny Ukraine is losing. 3. How western media has more or less left the whole subject alone, fearing that it doesn’t help the West’s cause which they (media) are aligned to.
EU Parliament wants “TAURUS” delivery Further attacks on Scholz after cancellation.
"The large "TAURUS" coalition took a few days to sort itself out, but is now launching a counterattack after Chancellor Olaf Scholz said no to a delivery of long-range cruise missiles to Kiev.
However, it also becomes more recognizable. The EU Parliament is leading the way: A resolution approved there on Thursday with 451 votes to 46 and 49 abstentions states, according to a statement from the parliament, that Ukraine needs “highly developed air defense systems” and “long-range cruise missiles such as the TAURUS systems”.
In order for Kiev to “win,” there must be no self-imposed restrictions on military support."
Where does such a craving for self-destruction come from among the European "elites"? Ask yourself, ordinary people of Europe, are these the elites in power that you want? Do you want a nuclear war in Europe as much as they do?

"In Britain and Germany (https://t.me/Media_Post_UA/16816), Scholz was criticized for saying that British soldiers were helping to launch long-range Storm Shadow missiles in Ukraine, writes The Telegraph.
The newspaper quotes a statement by Olaf Scholz, who said on Monday that he would not supply the Taurus, the Berlin equivalent of Storm Shadow, because it would require the help of the German military "on the ground" (that is, on the territory of Ukraine). And he said that the UK and France are already doing this with Storm Shadow. Scholz said that it was for this reason that he did not want to supply Taurus, since Germany would then become a "participant in the war."
"This is a blatant misuse of intelligence, deliberately designed to distract attention from Germany's unwillingness to arm Ukraine with its own long-range missile system. This will undoubtedly be used by Russia to climb the escalator ladder," he said Tobias Ellwood, former Chairman of the House of Commons Defence Committee."
I also hope that this will be used by Russia in order to "climb the escalator stairs." Russia's search for peace will not lead to good, as this is Russia's weakness and leads to an escalation of the war against Russia by the West. Eventually, such an escalation will reach a level where Russia will have only one option left - to die with its enemies. Can't Russia demonstrate this determination - to die with its enemies, right now? To demonstrate this convincingly so that no one has any doubts. And so that we don't really have to die together?

German military officials were recorded planing an attack against Crimea bridge. The target is of “military strategic and political importance but we can’t be seen to be directly involved.” Olaf Scholz is putting Germany at risk of war with Russia. Insane.
