The Chinese Foreign Ministry congratulated Putin on his election victory: "We are confident that relations between Russia and China will continue to develop."
The Iranian president congratulated Putin on his election victory.
President of Uzbekistan Mirziyoyev congratulated Putin on his convincing election victory.
Kim Jong-un sent congratulations to Putin through the DPRK embassy in Russia, Korean media reported.
The leaders of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan congratulated Putin on his election victory by phone, the Kremlin said.
"The United States will not abandon the anti-Russia project after Putin's victory in the Russian presidential election", Ambassador to Washington Anatoly Antonov said.
"I think America will not hear (the will of people). In order for them to congratulate the president on his victory, this cancer should whistle on the mountain. The Americans will not abandon their "anti-Russia" project".
