🇮🇱 Israel is withdrawing its troops from the southern part of the Gaza Strip, The Jerusalem Post reports.
According to the publication, the Israeli military will no longer be stationed there, and the large-scale withdrawal, journalists note, indicates a change in the military strategy.
Only one army brigade is expected to remain in the area to secure the corridor between southern Israel and the Palestinian enclave. The withdrawal also means that Palestinians will soon be able to return to their homes in Khan Younis.
