On the Situation in the Southeastern #Kupyansk Sector in #Svatovo Direction⚡️

🇷🇺 After capturing #Ivanovka, the RFAF will continue to press along the railway located on the ridge, which, if successful, will allow them to subsequently launch an assault on Stepovaya Novosyolovka, located in the lowlands west of #Ivanovka, and increase pressure on positions west of #Kotlyarovka.

Situation on the #Kupyansk-#Svatovo Front until the End of 26 May 2024⚡️

🔹 After the Liberation (https://t.me/rybar/59825) of #Kotlyarovka and #Kislovka, the logical continuation of the RFAF offensive operation was the capture of #Ivanovka:

🟡 First, Russian troops fired artillery at the settlement area, after which they managed to advance and establish control over it. It is noteworthy that information about the capture of #Ivanovka appeared several days ago, but until now there was no footage clearly confirming this.

🎬 Only a video was published on the net with servicemen of the 26th Tank Regiment and the flag they unfurled, which was clearly difficult to link to what was happening in #Ivanovka. This is largely due to the fact that the settlement is quite small in size, not to mention its poorly developed infrastructure.

❗️ The final confirmation of the #Ivanovka liberation came from the enemy, on whose resources footage appeared of attacks on RFAF positions within the borders of the settlement. 🔹Russian Troops launched another series of attacks on enemy targets in several regions of the so-called #Ukraine. Explosions also occurred near the village of #Khizhki, #Sumy region, as well as near #Chernigov.

1️⃣ The Israeli army bombed a displacement camp in northern Rafah, killing at least 35 Palestinians, (Gaza Health Ministry)

2️⃣ Hamas launches a missile attack on Tel Aviv, triggering alarm sirens. Earlier, the Qassam Brigades said its fighters “killed and captured” a number of Israeli soldiers in Jabalia camp. Israeli military has denied the claim.

3️⃣ This comes as Israel has intensified attacks across Gaza, killing more than 80 Palestinians in the past 24 hours.

4️⃣ Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin-Farhan has said after meetings with Arab and European counterparts in Brussels that it is very concerning that Israel does not recognise that the security it seeks comes through a two-state solution. “It is absolutely necessary that Israel accepts that it cannot exist without the existence of a Palestinian state,” the top Saudi diplomat told reporters.

5️⃣ Responding to the attack at the tent camp in Rafah, Palestinian writer and activist Kaleem Hawa said it was clear “there is no red line for Israel and the US”.

6️⃣ A spokesman for the International Committee of the Red Cross in Gaza has spoken tabout the attack on the displacement camp in Rafah. Here is a summary of their comments: There is a need to follow the basic rules of international humanitarian law.

The healthcare system in Gaza is incapable of dealing with the situation in Rafah. The number of victims from the bombing of the displacement camp and raids in Rafah is likely to rise.

7️⃣ Aryeh Neier, a long-standing Jewish human rights activist whose family fled from Nazi Germany to the United States in 1939 when he was two years old, says he has been convinced that the Israeli military is committing “genocide” in Gaza.

At least 35,984 people including more than 15,000 children, have been killed and over 80,643 injured in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7. The death toll from the October 7 attack in Israel stands at 1,139.

Two Majors #Report for the Morning of 27 May 2024; pub. 07:01📍

🔹In the #Kharkov direction, fierce fighting is taking place in #Volchansk, our troops are advancing in the town, the enemy is trying to counterattack with the forces of the reserves that have arrived. In the #Liptsy section, the RFAF improved their tactical position in the Severny Dacha Settlement, repelling an enemy counterattack. At one of the sites, the advancement was up to 500 m in depth. The enemy expects an intensification of combat operations in the #Sumy direction in order to create a buffer zone for the RFAF.

🔹On the #Svatovo-#Kupyansk front, our troops are expanding the zone of control on the #Kotlyarovka - #Kislova - #Ivanovka line. According to enemy estimates, the success of the RFAF in this direction creates conditions for further offensives to the west.

🔹In the direction of #ChasovYar, the Russian Army is assaulting the eastern outskirts of the town. To the south, in #Kleshcheyevka, our troops are taking up positions on the ruins of the village. The enemy retains control of part of the positions on the heights and is preparing reserve lines to the west. Our units are occupying forest plantations.

🇷🇺 Russia produces artillery shells three times faster and three quarters cheaper than Western countries

Sky News, citing an analysis by the consulting firm Bain & Company, says that Russia's production capacity far exceeds that of Western countries in terms of quantity and cheapness of production.

According to the results of the study, the production of artillery shells in Russia in 2024 is expected to be 4.5 million units. By comparison, the US and all European countries will produce no more than 1.3 million for the year.

The publication notes that these figures emphasise the problems faced by the AFU, which relies on ammunition supplies from the US and European countries.

Of course, NATO countries are trying to increase production capacity, but they are unable to shift even part of their economies to military use, so they inevitably lose out to Russia in terms of the volume of production, including artillery shells. Part I

▫️Units of the Sever Group of Forces continue advancing to the depth of the enemy's defences.

Losses were inflicted on manpower and hardware of the AFU 125th Mechanised Brigade and 112th Territorial Defence Brigade near Konstantinovka and Granov (Kharkov region).

Two counter-attacks launched by the enemy's assault detachments were repelled near Glubokoye and Volchansk (Kharkov region).

The AFU losses amounted to up to 318 Ukrainian troops, one tank, and two armoured fighting vehicles.

In the course of counter-battery warfare, one U.S.-made 155-mm M777 howitzer, one UK-made 155-mm FH-70 howitzer, one 152-mm D-20 howitzer, three 122-mm D-30 howitzers, one U.S.-made 105-mm M119 howitzer, and one 122-mm Grad MLRS combat vehicle were neutralised.

▫️Units of the Zapad Group of Forces liberated Ivanovka (Kharkov region) and took more advantageous lines.

Losses were inflicted on formations of the AFU 14th and 66th mechanised brigades near Nevskoye (Lugansk People's Republic) and Novosadovoye (Donetsk People's Republic).

Moreover, three counter-attacks launched by the AFU assault detachments were repelled near Novovodyanoye (Lugansk People's Republic) and Grigorovka (Donetsk People's Republic).

The AFU losses amounted to up to 405 Ukrainian troops, one infantry fighting vehicle, and five motor vehicles.

In the course of counter-battery warfare, one UK-made 155-mm Braveheart self-propelled artillery system, one 152-mm D-20 howitzer, one 122-mm D-30 howitzer, and two 122-mm Bastion MLRS combat vehicles were neutralised.

▫️Units of the Vostok Group of Forces took more advantageous lines and inflicted losses on manpower and hardware of the AFU 128th Territorial Defence Brigade near Makarovka (Donetsk People's Republic).

The AFU losses amounted to up to 130 Ukrainian troops, five motor vehicles, one U.S.-made 155-mm M777 howitzer, and one U.S.-made 155-mm M198 howitzer.

▫️Units of the Dnepr Group of Forces inflicted losses on manpower and hardware of the AFU 65th Mechanised Brigade and 37th Marines Brigade near Rabotino (Zaporozhye region) and Veseloye (Kherson region).

The AFU losses amounted to up to 40 Ukrainian troops, three motor vehicles, one 122-mm D-30 howitzer, and one U.S.-made 105-mm M119 howitzer.

▫️Operational-Tactical Aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles, Missile Troops and Artillery of the Russian Groups of Forces engaged AFU manpower and hardware clusters in 114 areas during the day.

Air defence units shot down six French-made Hammer guided aerial bombs, 14 U.S.-made HIMARS and Olkha MLRS projectiles, as well as 44 unmanned aerial vehicles.

📊 In total, 603 airplanes and 274 helicopters, 24,700 unmanned aerial vehicles, 524 air defence missile systems, 16,172 tanks and other armoured fighting vehicles, 1,318 combat vehicles equipped with MLRS, 9,887 field artillery cannons and mortars, as well as 22,027 units of special military equipment have been destroyed during the special military operation.

💥 Su-34 crews deliver strikes at enemy's stronghold and manpower

️The strike was delivered by high-explosive aerial bombs with the universal planning and correction modules, which allowed the aircraft to launch precise strikes without entering the enemy air defence systems range.

After reconnaissance confirmed the target engagement, the aircraft returned to the departure airfield.

Russian troops save wounded Ukrainian serviceman abandoned in action

Valentin Matsepuro was captured in Kupyansk direction.

According to the POW, there was no command and control of the troops in this area, and no officers were present at the positions. Ukrainian servicemen did not know the task ahead of them, and did not even understand where to observe and what to shoot.

'We were expendable,' said the POW.

At that moment, Valentin realised that the commander was just deceiving him and not even going to send an evacuation team. Russian troops saved the wounded AFU serviceman.

'They took me away, treated my wounds, and gave me a cigarette,' said Valentin.
