In the Artemyovsk direction, Russian troops, after several months of fighting on the eastern outskirts of Chasov Yar, crossed the Seversky Donets-Donbass canal and began storming the Oktyabrsky microdistrict.

The units of the Zapad Group of Forces continue to perform tasks in the special military operation zone.
As a result of active operations, the Group's motorised rifle units improved the situation along the front line, seized eight enemy strongholds, and repelled three counter-attacks of assault detachments of the 1st Brigade of the President of Ukraine.
With the support of artillery, heavy flamethrowers, and aviation, units of 14th, 115th mechanised brigades, the 3rd Assault Brigade, 107th, 110th territorial defence brigades were hit near Senkovo, Novoosinovo, Stavki, Grigorovka, and Makeyevka.
The Group's rocket artillery crew struck a temporary deployment area of the 67th Mechanised Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine close to Podvysokoye, destroying more than 50 militants and five motor vehicles.
In the course of counter-battery warfare, artillery units destroyed five D-30 artillery guns, two U.S.-made M777 howitzers, one M198 howitzer, one MT-12 anti-tank gun, and 15 mortar crews.
Air defence facilities shot down ten fixed-wing UAVs.
During the day, the enemy losses were up to 510 troops, 42 units of weapons and military hardware, including nine artillery guns, two Nota and one Anklav electronic warfare stations, 14 motor vehicles, three ammunition depots, and ten UAV command posts.

▫️The units of the Sever Group of Forces have engaged manpower and hardware of 31st, 42nd mechanised brigades of the AFU, the 101st Territorial Defence Brigade, and the 13th National Guard Brigade close to Zarozhnoye, Prikolotnoye, Liptsy, Staritsa, and Volchansk (Kharkov region).
Russian troops have repelled three counter-attacks of the AFU 92nd Air Assault Brigade and the AFU 36th Marine Brigade.
The AFU losses were up to 200 Ukrainian troops, four pickup trucks, one Polish-made 155-mm Krab self-propelled artillery system, two U.S.-made 155-mm M777 howitzers, one 122-mm D-30 howitzer, and one Bukovel-AD electronic warfare station.
▫️The units of the Zapad Group of Forces have captured more advantageous lines and positions, defeated 14th, 67th, and 115th mechanised brigades of the AFU near Kupyansk, Petropavlovka (Kharkov region), Makeyevka (Lugansk People's Republic), and Torskoye (Donetsk People's Republic).
Russian troops have repelled two counter-attacks of AFU 66th and 67th mechanised brigades' assault detachments.
The AFU losses were up to 470 Ukrainian troops, one tank, one U.S.-made Bradley infantry fighting vehicle, one Kozak armoured fighting vehicle, and ten motor vehicles.
In the course of counter-battery warfare, one 155-mm Polish-made Krab and one UK-made Braveheart artillery systems, one 152-mm Msta-B howitzer, two 122-mm D-30 howitzers, one 105-mm UK-made L-119 gun, and one 100-mm Rapira anti-tank gun have been eliminated.
In addition, 22 field ammunition depots have been also destroyed.
▫️The units of the Yug Group of Forces have improved the tactical situation and inflicted losses on manpower and hardware of 23rd, 24th, 72nd mechanised, 59th motorised infantry, 80th air assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 103rd and 109th territorial defence brigades near Kramatorsk, Konstantinovka, Chasov Yar, Dyleyevka, Krasnogorovka, and Katerinovka (Donetsk People's Republic).
Two counter-attacks by the AFU 5th Assault Brigade and the 117th Territorial Defence Brigade have been repelled.
The AFU losses were up to 710 Ukrainian troops, one tank, 10 motor vehicles, one 203-mm Pion self-propelled artillery system, two U.S.-made 155-mm M198 howitzers, one 152-mm Msta-B howitzer, two 152-mm D-20 howitzers, one UK-made 105-mm L-119 gun, and one 100-mm Rapira anti-tank gun.
In addition, two Anklav electronic warfare stations and three field ammunition depots have been eliminated.
▫️The units of the Tsentr Group of Forces continued advancing to the depths of enemy defences. Russian troops have hit 31st, 32nd, 47th, 151st mechanised, 1st tank, and 95th air assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Toretsk, Shcherbinovka, Sergeyevka, Nikolayevka, Grodovka, Vozdvizhenka, and Kalinovo (Donetsk People's Republic).

▫️The units of the Vostok Group of Forces have taken more advantageous lines and inflicted fire damage on manpower and hardware of the 58th Motorised Infantry Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the 128th Territorial Defence Brigade near Vodyanoye and Storozhevoye (Donetsk People's Republic).
The AFU losses were up to 115 Ukrainian troops, one tank, six motor vehicles, one UK-made 155-mm FH-70 howitzer, one 152-mm D-20 howitzer, and one 122-mm Gvozdika self-propelled artillery system.
▫️The units of the Dnepr Group of Forces have inflicted fire damage on the AFU 124th Infantry Brigade, the 128th Mountain Assault Brigade, the 39th Coastal Defence Brigade, and the 37th Marine Brigade near Shcherbaki, Kamenskoye (Zaporozhye region), Burgunka, and Sadovoye (Kherson region).
The AFU losses were up to 80 Ukrainian troops, one tank, three motor vehicles, one 155-mm Bogdana self-propelled artillery system, one 155-mm U.S.-made M777 howitzer, and one 100-mm Rapira anti-tank gun.
▫️Operational-Tactical Aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles, Missile Troops and Artillery of the Russian Groups of Forces have hit two S-125 surface-to-air missile system launchers, one P-18 radar station for detecting and tracking air targets, AFU fuel depots, one temporary deployment point for foreign mercenaries as well as clusters of enemy manpower and military hardware in 138 areas.
▫️Air defence systems have shot down one U.S.-made Patriot surface-to-air missile, nine U.S.-made HIMARS MLRS projectiles, and 140 unmanned aerial vehicles, with 80 of them outside the special military operation zone.
📊In total, 632 airplanes and 278 helicopters, 28,979 unmanned aerial vehicles, 561 air defence missile systems, 16,752 tanks and other armoured fighting vehicles, 1,395 combat vehicles equipped with MLRS, 12,779 field artillery guns and mortars, as well as 24,316 units of special military equipment have been destroyed during the special military operation.

Russian sappers are in action in Zaporozhye direction
In Orekhov direction in Zaporozhye region, sappers of the Dnepr Group of Forces Guards Motorised Rifle Division conduct mine clearance of hard-to-reach areas of terrain by drone drops on emplaced enemy mines.
The work of EOD specialists in the zone of the special military operation mainly consists of escorting assault detachments, inspecting mined areas, and neutralising explosive objects when Russian units are securing positions liberated from the AFU.
Drone operators assist in providing guidance for circumventing minefields and mined areas. Also, the operators ensure that a unit does not deviate from the route or get injured because of enemy minefields that are not seen from the ground due to dense grass and other terrain conditions.
