🇷🇺🇺🇦 Pokrovsk-Kurakhovo Direction: Significant Successes of the Russian Armed Forces

In recent weeks, Russian forces have achieved significant successes both towards Pokrovsk and Kurakhovo.

The enemy has been driven out of about two dozen settlements, and some, judging by the footage of objective control, were liberated without prolonged battles. The videos with the installation of flags more often record relatively minor destruction, indicating a relatively rapid retreat of the enemy.

However, it is impossible to speak of the collapse of the front line and even less of an "easy stroll". Ukrainian formations are resisting, trying to delay the liberation of Donbas.

▪️ Fighting continues in Hrodivka. At the same time, rumors have been circulating on the Internet for the second day about the exit of Russian reconnaissance groups already to the outskirts of Myrnohrad - the reports about the capture of Mykolaivka by Russian troops speak in favor of this.

▪️ The situation to the west of Novohrodivka is still shrouded in the "fog of war", but the fighting continues behind Selidovo. The advance groups of Russian assault troops are already operating in the area of the City Park and south in the area of Nahorna Street.

▪️ To the south, there are battles for Ukrainsk and Lisovka, and the latter, according to preliminary data, has already come under the control of the Russian Armed Forces. The neighboring Halytsynivka and Dolinivka, according to incoming information, also came under the control of Russian troops by the end of August 30, after which battles began for Zhelanne Pershe. At the same time, there are no footage of objective control yet, due to which such rapid advancement seems too high.

▪️ But there is no doubt about the control of the Russian Armed Forces over the neighboring Karlivka. During the day, footage with the flags of Russia and its units appeared from several key points of the settlement, and by the evening the capture of the Krasnohvardiiske Filtration Station by the Russian Armed Forces was confirmed.

🇷🇺🇺🇦 Vremivka Direction: Advance North of Urozhayne and Pryyutne

In the Vremivka direction, where public activity of the parties has practically subsided after the completion of the battle for Urozhayne and Staromaiorske, against the background of reports from other directions, there is also some activation of the actions of the Russian Armed Forces.

▪️North of Urozhayne and in the forest belts to the west, Russian assault troops were able to advance slightly further at the beginning of August, and during the month there were battles to the east, as a result of which several strongholds in the forest belts came under the control of the Russian Armed Forces.

▪️In the area of Pryyutne, the Russian troops at least drove the enemy out of the strongholds in the triangle of the Kutsaya and Hrushevataya gullies. Interestingly, in February of this year, the Russian Armed Forces had already occupied (https://t.me/rybar/57487) these positions, but apparently they were lost since then.

Judging by the footage, the enemy, who retreated to reserve positions, was subjected to several UAV attacks and withdrew even further with losses. At the same time, it is an open question whether the Russian assault troops managed to occupy the positions, and whether this was even the task.

🇨🇳🇺🇸🇯🇵 In the Asia-Pacific region, the situation with regular provocations and demonstrative maneuvers by both China and the US and its allies has become somewhat stabilized.

▪️In response to several ongoing exercises, as well as flights of US bombers in the Bay of Bengal, the Chinese have sent their reconnaissance aircraft towards the Japanese shores.

The Japanese Self-Defense Forces Command reported that a Chinese electronic warfare aircraft approached the Senkaku Islands so closely that F-15 fighters were scrambled to escort it.

▪️In the South China Sea, the Chinese also responded demonstratively: to the increased flights of the American UAV MQ-4C "Triton", they sent fighters and an AWACS KJ-500 aircraft.

Given that the "Triton" is called the maritime version of the RQ-4B, and there are regular clashes between Chinese and Filipino sailors in this area, it is clear what the MQ-4C was reconnoitering over the waters of the South China Sea.

🔻This is the modern reality of the Asia-Pacific region, where a relatively stable region, in which the main struggle unfolded in the information space, has turned into a new arena of confrontation between geopolitical rivals.

🇷🇺🇺🇦 Pokrovsk-Kurakhove Direction: Fighting in Selidovo and Liberation of Most of Halytsynivka

On the Pokrovsk-Kurakhove Direction, the AFU continue to lose more positions. Russian forces are suppressing pockets of enemy resistance and advancing towards Kurakhove, gradually encircling the AFU grouping to the east.

▪️In Selidovo, assault groups of the Russian Armed Forces have established control over the territory of the city park and the "Avanhard" stadium. Now the Russian troops are fighting in the area of Hohol Street, beyond which there is a sector of apartment buildings used by the enemy to build up defenses in the city.

To the south, the forward groups of Russian assault troops reached 8 Veresnya Street, dislodging the AFU from several positions. Local residents report active artillery work in the area of the "Malvina" kindergarten, where the line of contact is likely passing at the moment.

❗️West of Nahorna Street is a quarter of high-rise buildings, which the Ukrainian formations will likely try to turn into a key defensive strongpoint. Successful overcoming of the AFU resistance in this area will allow the Russian Armed Forces to consolidate their control over the quarter and prevent the enemy from organizing a fortified defense line.

▪️To the south, Russian forces, according to available information, have liberated the settlement of Dolinivka, abandoned by the enemy due to the lack of ability to hold it. To the east, the Russian Armed Forces have established control over most of Halytsynivka, dislodging the AFU from positions on the southern bank of the Volchia River.

According to some information, the forward groups of Russian infantry have already entered the territory of Zhelanne Pershe, while the majority of enemy units have retreated from the settlement.

❗️Certain sources also report the start of fighting for Ukrainsk, but it is not yet possible to confirm this with objective control footage and information from the scene.

🔻The combat situation for the AFU is apparently deteriorating rapidly. Russian forces are actively advancing towards Kurakhove, the enemy's key transportation hub, which creates a threat to the supply of several AFU groupings on other directions of the front.

In addition, the situation in the Nevelske area remains unclear: according to unconfirmed data, Ukrainian formations are still present in the fields to the west of it. In this case, the advance of Russian units towards Kurakhove will effectively mean their encirclement.

🇷🇺🇺🇦 Kursk Direction: Fighting in Sudzha District and Destruction of Equipment in the Rear Areas of the AFU

The Kursk Direction remains tense on several sections of the front. Russian forces are striking at armored vehicles and fire support assets in the enemy's rear. Ukrainian formations continue attempts to advance in the Korenevo and Sudzha districts.

🔻In the Glushkovo District, the situation has not changed significantly. Ukrainian formations are striking at the pontoon crossings set up by the Russian Armed Forces to supply the grouping on the line of Tetkino - Glushkovo.

🔻In the Korenevo District, the AFU carried out several attacks towards the settlement of Matveyevka, all of which were repelled by Russian units.

▪️The situation in the area of Kremyanoye remains unchanged, after the unsuccessful attacks of recent days, the enemy is regrouping its forces and redeploying reserves to resume attempts to take the settlement under control.

🔻In the Sudzha District, Ukrainian formations were able to make a slight advance from the west towards the settlement of Pogrebki, occupying positions in several forest belts. One of the places of concentration of AFU personnel was struck by Russian aviation using FAB-3000 with JDAM.

▪️To the south, the enemy also made unsuccessful attacks towards Malaya Loknya and Bakhtinka. In Martynivka, Russian artillery covered the position of the AFU UAV crew on the eastern outskirts of the village. Also, west of Sudzha, Russian drone operators successfully destroyed an enemy T-72 tank on the move.

🔻Russian intelligence was able to detect the launch positions of Ukrainian missile systems in the forest area west of Guyevo. During a missile strike, Russian forces destroyed an M270 MLRS launcher, which the AFU use, among other things, to strike at crossings in the Glushkovo District.

🇮🇱🇵🇸 Satellite images have appeared online showing the southern part of the Gaza Strip, which clearly demonstrate the consequences of the engineering work carried out by the Israeli forces in the "Philadelphia Corridor". In Rafah, up to a kilometer from the border with Egypt, there are practically no buildings left - this is essentially the buffer zone that the IDF representatives had previously announced (https://t.me/rybar/62989).

At the same time, the Israelis continue to carry out so-called "terrain modification" in the rest of Rafah, blowing up high-rise buildings where Hamas' underground tunnels could have been located. As a result, according to Palestinian calculations, less than 30% of the buildings in the once-thriving city of the Gaza Strip remain undestroyed.

It is indicative that the Israeli command intends to continue holding the "Philadelphia Corridor" even in the event of a truce with Hamas. As Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently stated, it was the lack of control over the buffer zone between the enclave and Egypt that led to the events of October 7, 2023.

🇮🇱🇵🇸 Escalation in the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict Zone

In the north of the Gaza Strip, the Israeli forces struck both the capital of the Palestinian enclave and the satellite city of Jabalia. As a result of the strikes, residential buildings and civilian infrastructure were damaged.

In the central part of the enclave, the Israeli operation south of Deir al-Balah has been completed. Nevertheless, the humanitarian problems in the city itself continue to worsen, caused by both a shortage of drinking water and a lack of sufficient medicines.

The operation of the Israeli forces also ended in the Khan Yunis area, from the outskirts of which the IDF units were withdrawn yesterday. Meanwhile, in Rafah, the Israelis are carrying out engineering work to create a buffer zone on the border with Egypt.

In the West Bank, large-scale raids continue, as a result of which Israeli security forces detained several dozen people. The most fierce clashes occurred in Jenin, where at least five local militants were eliminated.

The situation on the Lebanese-Israeli border remains tense. Over the past two days, Hezbollah has launched several dozen rockets at northern Israel, but most of them were either intercepted or fell on wastelands.

🇷🇺🇺🇦 Another illustrative video (https://t.me/voenacher/71071) has arrived showing the consequences of large convoys (https://t.me/rybar/62604) with minimal distance between vehicles: this time, Ukrainian formations near the village of Verkhnia Syrovatka in Sumy Region, 30 km from the front line, came under attack.

According to the video, the Russian forces detected around 20 vehicles lined up one behind the other from the air and delivered a combined strike. First, the Russian Armed Forces engaged with two ballistic missiles with cluster and high-explosive fragmentation warheads with air detonation, and then added a salvo of MLRS.

📌 In this case, we can note the integrated nature of the fire strike, where no missiles were spared on the target. This largely helped to compensate for the accuracy and density of the coverage, destroying many more vehicles and AFU personnel than would have been the case with a single "Iskander" or "Tornado-S" strike.

And this is an absolutely correct approach: the relatively greater expenditure ensured greater losses for the enemy, which is the criterion for the success of the fire strike. And an "Iskander" missile costs less than the unpreventable redeployment of enemy reserves, which will have to be knocked out by infantry in heavy fighting.

💥 Destruction of AFU air assault battalion’s temporary deployment point near Chernetchina

As a result of reconnaissance actions of the Russian Armed Forces, a temporary deployment point of the AFU 80th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade’s 3rd Air Assault Battalion was detected 30 kilometres southeast of Sumy near Chernetchina.

After additional reconnaissance and confirmation of the position of the target, Russian troops struck the enemy military facility.

As a result of the high-precision missile strike, objective control confirmed the elimination of two lorries, two cross-country vehicles, one bus for transporting military personnel, and up to 35 Ukrainian nationalists.

The Russian Defence Ministry shows an AFU missile and artillery arms depot destroyed near Nizhnyaya Syrovatka (Sumy Region).

In the course of reconnaissance actions close to Nizhnyaya Syrovatka, 5 kilometres south of Sumy, the Russian Armed Forces identified a large depot of missile and artillery weapons (ammunition) and military equipment of the AFU.

After careful analysis of the reconnaissance information and confirmation of the activity of Ukrainian nationalist formations in the area, Russian troops launched a pinpoint strike against the AFU military facility.

An Iskander-M missile defence system launched a missile strike that destroyed a hangar with artillery ammunition and weapons.

Objective control confirmed a prolonged repeated detonation at the facility as well as its subsequent complete burnout.

Part I

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue the special military operation.

▫️The units of the Sever Group of Forces in Liptsy and Volchansk directions have defeated the 92nd Air Assault Brigade and the 113rd Territorial Defence Brigade of the AFU near Alisovka and Volchanskiye Khutora (Kharkov region).

The AFU losses were up to 125 Ukrainian troops and two motor vehicles.

▫️The units of the Zapad Group of Forces have improved the tactical situation and inflicted losses on manpower and hardware of 14th mechanised, 3rd assault brigades of the AFU, 1st national guard, 119th territorial defence brigades near Petropavlovka, Lozovaya (Kharkov region), Novovodyanoye, Chervonaya Dibrova (Lugansk People's Republic), Grigorovka (Donetsk People's Republic), and Serebryansky forestry.

Two counter-attacks of the AFU 77th Airmobile Brigade have been repelled.

The AFU losses were up to 460 Ukrainian troops, two armoured fighting vehicles, six motor vehicles, one 152-mm Msta-B howitzer, one U.S.-made 105-mm M119 gun, and three Anklav-N electronic warfare stations. Six AFU field ammunition depots have been eliminated.

▫️The units of the Yug Group of Forces have taken more advantageous lines, inflicted losses on manpower and hardware of AFU 28th, 30th mechanised, 143rd infantry, and 56th motorised infantry brigades near Chasov Yar, Zaliznyanskoye, Kurdyumovka, and Konstantinovka (Donetsk People's Republic).

One counter-attack launched by assault detachments of the AFU 24th Mechanised Brigade has been repelled.

The AFU losses were up to 780 Ukrainian troops, one tank, one U.S.-made M113 armoured personnel carrier, four motor vehicles, one U.S.-made 155-mm M777 howitzer, one UK-made 155-mm FH-70 howitzer, one 152-mm D-20 gun, two 122-mm D-30 howitzers, two U.S.-made 105-mm M119 guns, one 220-mm Uragan multiple-launch rocket system combat vehicle, and two electronic warfare stations. Two ammunition depots have been also destroyed.

▫️The units of the Tsentr Group of Forces have liberated Kirovo (Donetsk People's Republic) and continue to advance to the depths of enemy defences.

Russian troops lave launched an attack on AFU 44th mechanised, 95th air assault, 142nd infantry, 71st jaeger brigades have been hit near Grodovka, Kalinovo, Mikhaylovka, Rozovka, and Druzhba (Donetsk People's Republic).

In addition, seven counter-attacks of AFU 32nd, 53rd mechanised, 68th jaeger brigades, and the 37th Marine Brigade have been repelled.

The AFU losses were up to 455 Ukrainian troops, one armoured fighting vehicle, three motor vehicles, two 152-mm Msta-B guns, three 122-mm D-30 howitzers, and one U.S.-made 105-mm M101 howitzer.

▫️The units of the Vostok Group of Forces have improved their position along the front line and hit manpower and hardware of AFU 72nd mechanised, 58th motorised infantry brigades close to Vodyanoye and Ugledar (Donetsk People's Republic).

One counter-attack launched by an assault detachment of the AFU 31st Mechanised Brigade has been repelled.

The AFU losses were up to 125 Ukrainian troops, one tank, one armoured fighting vehicle, and four motor vehicles.

Part II

▫️The units of the Dnepr Group of Forces have engaged units of 65th mechanised, 141st infantry, 128th mountain assault brigades of the AFU and the 39th Coastal Defence Brigade near Novodanilovka, Orekhov, Nesteryanka (Zaporozhye region), Kazatskoye, Sadovoye (Kherson region), and Kherson.

The AFU losses were up to 80 Ukrainian troops, eight motor vehicles, one U.S.-made 155-mm M777 howitzer, one UK-made 155-mm AS-90 self-propelled artillery system, and one electronic warfare station. Two ammunition and one military hardware depots have been eliminated.

▫️Operational-Tactical Aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles, and Missile Troops and Artillery of the Russian Groups of Forces have destroyed one U.S.-made M270 MLRS launcher, in addition, assembly workshops for unmanned aerial vehicles, one missile and artillery weapons depot as well as clusters of enemy manpower and military hardware in 135 areas.

▫️Air defence facilities have shot down four U.S.-made ATACMS operational-tactical missiles, six French-made HAMMER guided bombs, six Czech-made Vampire projectiles, and 48 unmanned aerial vehicles.

📊In total, 641 airplanes and 283 helicopters, 30,749 unmanned aerial vehicles, 575 air defence missile systems, 17,790 tanks and other armoured fighting vehicles, 1,433 combat vehicles equipped with MLRS, 13,846 field artillery guns and mortars as well as 25,474 units of special military equipment have been destroyed during the special military operation.

💥 Russian servicemen destroy U.S.-made M270 MLRS by high-precision strike

During reconnaissance actions near Sadki (Sumy region), one U.S.-made M270 MLRS position was detected.

After analysing the reconnaissance data, it was decided to hit the position of the U.S.-made universal launcher of the AFU.

As a result of the attack, the MLRS and AFU military personnel serving the launcher were eliminated by the precision missile.

Objective control confirmed the total destruction of the enemy vehicle.

🔹 Russian Defence Ministry

⚡️ The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue to repel the AFU attempt to invade the territory of the Russian Federation.

The units of the Sever Group of Forces supported by Army Aviation and artillery have repelled six attacks launched by enemy assault detachments in the direction of Borki, Bakhtinka, Komarovka, Malaya Loknya, and Matveyevka.

In addition, attempts by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to launch attacks in the direction of Korenevo and Malaya Loknya have been foiled. The AFU losses were up to 30 troops killed and wounded, two armoured fighting vehicles, and two motor vehicles. One serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine surrendered.

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue reconnaissance and search operations in forestry areas to locate and eliminate enemy sabotage groups.

Aviation, artillery, and troops have engaged manpower and hardware of 21st, 22nd, 61st, 115th mechanised, 82nd air assault brigades, and the 1004th Security and Service Brigade close to Apanasovka, Borki, Byakhovo, Vishnyovka, Krasnooktyabrskoye, Kruglenkoye, Lyubimovka, Martynovka, Novoivanovka, Novaya Sorochina, Plekhovo, Cherkasskoye Porechnoye, Russkoye Porechnoye, Sverdlikovo, and Snagost.

Operational-Tactical Aviation has struck areas where reserves of 21st, 22nd, 41st mechanised, 17th tank, 80th, and 95th air assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the 1st National Guard Brigade as well as 101st, 103rd, 107th, 119th, and 129th territorial defence brigades have been concentrated near Belopolye, Glukhov, Kiyanitsa, Obody, Svessa, Sosnovka, Sumy, Shalimovka, Shalygino, and Esman.

Over the past 24 hours, the AFU losses were up to 400 troops and 18 units of hardware, including one tank, three armoured personnel carriers, 14 armoured fighting vehicles, three artillery guns, three mortars, one electronic warfare station, and seven motor vehicles.

Since the beginning of hostilities in Kursk region, the AFU losses were over 8,200 troops, 76 tanks, 36 infantry fighting vehicles, 67 armoured personnel carriers, 521 armoured fighting vehicles, 242 motor vehicles, 56 artillery guns, 16 multiple-launch rocket system launchers, including four HIMARS MLRS and two U.S.-made MLRSs, five SAM launchers, 12 electronic warfare stations, one counter-battery radar, one air defence radar, five engineering vehicles, including two counterobstacle vehicles and one UR-77 mine clearing vehicle.

The operation to neutralise the AFU units is in progress.

💥 Direct hit: Another American armoured vehicle destroyed in border area of Kursk region

During reconnaissance actions in Kursk region, servicemen of the Sever Group of Forces detected a movement of an AFU Humvee armoured vehicle.

After analysing the reconnaissance data, it was decided to destroy the enemy armoured vehicle.

As a result of the direct hit with FPV drone, the Humvee armoured vehicle of the AFU was destroyed. Objective control in real time confirmed the destruction of the target.
