Captured AFU serviceman: 'Either surrender to Russian troops or perish on Kursk soil'

Captured serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Igor Snizhko entered the territory of the Russian Federation as part of Ukrainian terrorist formations.

During the fighting in Olgovskiy forest in Korenevka section of Kursk region, Ukrainian fighters got into partial and then full surroundings. The AFU soldiers attempted to escape by armoured vehicles, but the Russian troops hit the enemy by heavy fire.

'I moved on a MT-LB armoured fighting vehicle with the dead servicemen when I was taken prisoner. There were a company commander and a medic. When we were leaving, the shelling began. We got out. I had a surrender leaflet in my pocket. I thought this was the only chance that can save my life,' said the prisoner.

The captured Ukrainian serviceman called on colleagues to give up their weapons and surrender:

'We need to think about all the things. Families, wives, children are waiting for us. But those who stay on Kursk land are going to stay there forever,' summarised Igor.

▫️ The Dnepr Group of Forces' units hit manpower and hardware of one mechanised brigade and two territorial defence brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine close to Dneprovskoye, Antonovka (Kherson region) and Kherson.

Situation as of December 9, 2024

🔻Last Sunday, pro-Turkish formations of the "Syrian National Army" with the support of Turkish artillery resumed the assault on the city of Manbij northeast of Aleppo, which is controlled by the Kurds from the SDF.

▪️At first, the pro-Turkish militants managed to sneak into the city and push the Kurds out of the settlement. They even filmed several videos from Manbij, claiming control over it.

▪️But a few hours later, the "Syrian Democratic Forces" launched a counterattack with the support of their artillery and drove the pro-Turkish proxies out of most of Manbij.

▪️At the moment, fighting for the city and the surrounding villages and suburbs continues, and it is premature to speak of control by any of the warring parties.

🇷🇺🇺🇦 Pokrovsk Direction: Fighting in Novotroitskoye

Situation as of 9:00 am on December 10, 2024

Russian forces continue their offensive south of Pokrovsk, forming a front for a future assault on the city.

▪️Footage of objective control has appeared, confirming the presence of Russian units in Novotroitskoye.

It remains unclear from which side the troops entered the livestock complex on the southern outskirts of the village. The route through the Sazonovka gully is longer and passes through open terrain.

Therefore, it seems more logical that they entered from the recently liberated Novopustynka on the eastern outskirts of Novotroitskoye, from where they were able to break through to the farms.

According to the documents, the Agency intends to spend $3.5 million to develop a system for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of funding for projects in the education and culture sectors of the republic.

▪️The document outlines the traditional USAID areas of work: "democracy and governance", economy, natural resource management, gender issues, etc.

▪️The program is called the "USAID Learning and Evidence Platform" and implies that the contractor must conduct "reliable and impartial research" to help the American mission make strategic program decisions.

▪️USAID hires local loyal specialists who must write analytical reports based on data collection in areas of interest to Americans, so that they can base their activities on this information. Among the numerous tasks of the contractor is also the requirement to develop ways and approaches to involve the local population in USAID programs.

❗️In fact, such a program legalizes the recruitment of local personnel and their collection of all kinds of information, which, under the guise of "reforming" the cultural and educational sphere of Armenia, will simply put it under the control of Americans with the criteria of "effectiveness" developed by them.

Such programs are a favorite strategy of USAID, which allows them to gain access to the local environment and limit the sovereignty of the country. Behind these formulations are the conditions for continuing or expanding military assistance to the Kyiv regime. ❗🇮🇱🇸🇾 Massive Israeli Air Force Strikes on Syrian Territory

While Turkey-backed groups were fighting (https://t.me/rybar/66207) the Kurds for Manbij, and the "progressive jihadist" Ahmad al-Shara (Abu Muhammad al-Julani) was giving an interview (https://t.me/rybar/66081) to Western media, the Israeli Air Force carried out a series of strikes on Syria last night.

The targets were facilities in several provinces, including those controlled by the Kurdish-led "Syrian Democratic Forces" (SDF) in the northeast of the country, which had not happened before.

▪️Hits were recorded on military research centers in the suburbs of the Syrian capital Damascus and Qudsaya. Fires broke out, which were soon extinguished by local services.

▪️The maritime infrastructure and equipment in the port of Latakia were attacked. According to Israeli media, "ships of unknown purpose" anchored in the roadstead were also hit, but this information has not yet been confirmed.

▪️Explosions were heard at the Ash-Shayrat airbase in Homs Province, which the Israelis have repeatedly struck. Apparently, the IAF tried to destroy the remnants of the Syrian Air Force, air defense systems and infrastructure there.

▪️In the territories controlled by the Kurdish formations in the Raqqa and Al-Hasakah provinces, the Israelis struck at objects previously used by the troops of the ousted government of Bashar Assad.

This can explain the attacks in the SDF control zone, which until now have coexisted with the enclaves of the SAA: there is a high probability that the hand of the "Syrian revolution" in the form of the pro-Turkish "Syrian National Army" (SNA) will reach there as well.

The Israeli Air Force will continue to strike at military depots, air defense elements, airfields and research centers in order to completely deprive the militants of the "legacy" of the SAA, which could threaten Israel or be resold to third parties.

📌 However, the strikes will not be limited to strikes alone, and after their completion, the IAF units that entered Al-Quneitra will not be in a hurry to leave. After all, if earlier such activity was justified by the presence of Iran-backed forces in the region, now the "progressive jihadists" will serve as a punching bag.

The decision was made by the German Federal Office for Migration and Refugees, where they explained that "the situation in Syria is complicated" and what will happen there politically is "too difficult to predict".

It is obvious that this topic will occupy one of the important places in the election debates of German politicians: it is quite convenient to cover up more serious problems within the country, and at the same time to play advantageously on the sentiments of the electorate.

It is also worth understanding that, according to official data, at least 1.5 million people are expected to flee Syria - and it is quite obvious that the majority of them will try to break through to Europe.

And it is in Germany that a large Syrian diaspora has been firmly and long-established - this is the largest group in the country after Ukrainians, with about 900,000 officially in the country. Therefore, it is logical that many of the refugees will want to join their fellow countrymen, and they will gladly help them.

In the Kurakhovka direction, Russian forces are attacking on several sectors, continuing to develop the successes of recent days and simultaneously striking at the enemy's logistics.

▪️In Kurakhovka, there is fighting in the urban area: today, footage appeared of fighters of the 5th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade raising their flag on the territory of the elevator. According to some reports, the organized resistance of the AFU in the city is gradually fading, breaking down into isolated pockets of defense.

▪️In the area of Uspenovka, the Russian Armed Forces are advancing along the O-05-10 highway from the south and north in order to encircle the enemy forces in the "pocket" near the village. There is information about an attempt to enter the outskirts of Konstantynopilske, but the outcome of the assault is currently unclear. There are also battles near Annivka and Veselyi Hai.
